I felt it was my duty to give this company a YELP review detailing my brief relationship with this firm.
Received a voicemail from a woman who identified herself only as Joan and left this phone number and please could I return the call. No company name, no reason for the call, nothing other than please call.
Not knowing the reason for the call and thinking it could be personal or family, I returned the call, entered the extension and a male answered the phone. I explained that I was returning a call from Joan and without even asking who I was or why I was calling he goes into a 45 second sales pitch on the accounting firm. Notwithstanding the fact that my office is over an hour north in another state, I listened and then said "I appreciate your call but I think we're pretty well set with accounting needs right now but are always happy to consider all options". There was silence and I thought he was working on a response to my offering of an opening and then I heard the distinctive sounds of a hang up.
No "thank you for your returned call", no "thank you for your time", no nothing except a rude hang up without even the courtesy of closing the call that they asked me to place to them. Really? This is how you manage business development and opportunity? Good luck with this!
I noticed that prior to me, there were no reviews for this company on yelp and after seeing how they handled the call they asked me to make to them, I can see why. read more
