I stayed here August 2014 and loved it. The location was great, the staff was helpful, the price was reasonable, and the rooms were comfortable! There was A/C and lots of TV channels including foreign channels for us foreigners. I would stay here again! read more

This place hits all of the marks with their amenities. Their rooms while quite small are clean, have comfortable beds, and have tea pots and cups which are always a plus. They have coffee machines too. Their breakfasts are amazing. One minus is that they have mostly canned fruit or dried fruit but all of the other breakfast items are good. So to conclude, these criticisms are small. This means the hotel isn't perfect but is worth staying at. read more

This hotel was booked for us as part of a travel package and I was very pleased with it! The location was great (near Westbanhof), the interior was up to date, hotel staff were kind and helpful, and the size of the room was big for European standards. I was not happy that we had to pay for wifi (€6 for 24 hours) and that the connection wasn't great after the first 24 hours, but we weren't charged for the second day so it was fair. All in all, I would stay here again on a trip to Vienna. read more

Staff was great and very helpful. Great location. Rooms were OK, just a bit small, especially bathroom. My main problem was the WiFi: - I was mislead on the booking page that WiFi is included with room price - They charge by number of device (5 euros for 2 devices, 7 euros for 3 devices, per day) - You have to enter long username and password on each device every 24h - Speed was bad, I could not stream without constant buffering - There is 250MB (yes MB) limit for upload, and than you need to reconnect - WiFi was disabled in the restaurant read more

We were very excited to book up 9 nights in a very central four star hotel in Vienna for a reasonable price. However we have had several issues and therefore would be unlikely to recommend the hotel or stay here again. Firstly upon arrival we had no power or lights in our room despite putting the key card in the slot. We called reception who never called back so went down after 20 minutes and had to ask again for this to be fixed. Secondly, the lifts. There are three lifts for the whole hotel, two of which only accommodate two people and suitcases, therefore taking ages to be able to actually get in one. On our way down we then discovered one lift would not go from our floor to the lobby nor could we call another lift. Waiting for it to leave to get another lift almost made us miss our train. We reported this issue and the reception said they would look into it but also said the lift maintenance people had been the day before and so didn't know what to tell us. We then attempted to report another issue. Upon returning from a day trip i went to my suitcase to find it soaked through the entire case, hard exterior and both interior sides all the way to the floor. My post cards I had left on top were soaked and one was entirely ruined, the others taking days to dry placed under a book. There were water marks on the wall and the curtain had drawn to hide whatever had been spilled all over my case which I then had to cover with towels to dry. Upon discovering this I was extremely upset as there was no apology from the maid for doing whatever she did to drench my belongings. We went down to reception where all they said was simply the maids don't touch anything and are you sure you locked your door. They essentially failed to take any responsibility which was quite simply disgusting. The customers are supposed to be the priority and to dismiss the matter so swiftly, implying condescendingly that it was potentially our fault was unacceptable. Other minor issues include shower temperature fluctuation and the head being too heavy forcing you to hold it up. Despite all the issues the location was very handy and we liked having a fridge to store our food in. But we spent most of our time out and about, I would not have been happy spending longer in the hotel. It is unfortunate that I have had to leave such a negative review, however the establishment did not seem to care for its guests. read more
