What an excellent employee. He checked the battery and obviously it was no good. I told him I was going to purchase a new one. The store was fairly busy considering it was a Saturday afternoon. He checked for any rebate; there wasn't any but because I had purchased the previous one from Autozone not the same store he was able to deduct a substantial amount. Nice savings! I would have replaced the battery myself but I wasn't dressed for it. So I asked if he would do the favor to replace it, he was a little hesitant because they were quite busy but he brought some tools and in no time my car was back on the road. Juan is the type of employee other stores need to keep! He's smart and willing to get the job done with a positive attitude. Thanks

Terrible Experience - Deceptive PracticesI trusted this Car-X location for over 10 years, but they…read moreare now engaging in highly deceptive practices. I brought my vehicle in for a single O2 sensor replacement. They severely overcharged me with an initial $950 quote, then raised the price by another $300 while my car was already disassembled on the rack, claiming they needed an "updated part."When I checked my receipt at home, I discovered they charged me for two O2 sensors. When confronted, they gave a sketchy excuse about a credit. Worse, they lied to the BBB, claiming they replaced both sensors. My downstream sensor is visibly rusty from last year and was never touched. To top it off, my Service Engine light is already back on.Avoid this location. I have filed reports with the BBB and will file today with the State of Indiana. Zero stars.

They were the ones who made that CarX great. They cared about the customers and honored their commitments and promises, and appointments. That is no more.) I made an appointment over the phone to have the tire repaired the following day at 8:30 in the morning. I got there at 7:45 am and entered the customer area. I mentioned to the man behind the counter about my appointment and that I would wait for the car. He informed me that there was a car ahead of mine, there was only one mechanic working, and he was not sure how long it would take to get mine done. I told him I would wait for the car and went to sit down in the waiting area. There was a lady waiting for her car to be finished already sitting in the waiting area. I looked for a seat but the remaining seats were covered with floor mats waiting to be put down on the floor. Not wanting to crowd the lady by sitting next to her, I decided to leave. I had the tire repaired by a shop down the street in 30 minutes. I know that CarX corporate had come to the Whiting business and had started making changes to the systems and files that the previous owners had been using. This had really upset the people working there and there was friction going on. Next thing I knew was the business was under new management and the usual workers were gone along with the usual good service and family like atmosphere that had prevailed. I, for one, will no longer have my vehicles serviced there.

As I approached the dock several young women spilled out of the office ready to help grab lines and help tie off the boat. They handled it effortlessly despite the size and weight of the boat.
