We love this place. Nestled in the "downtown " area of Leo, it's become our go to for breakfast & lunch. I'm sure dinner is fabulous too, we just haven't done dinner there yet. This chef cooks what we consider to be the hands down BEST breakfast potatoes in the Midwest. Especially the hash browns. They are amazing good. The coffee is also outstanding and always fresh. But our favorite part of the Leo Cafe experience is the people. The owners as well as the staff are delightful people who are always friendly, caring and attentive. This is proven by the personal relationship between them and the customers who all seem to be regulars like us. When we're at the Leo Cafe, we don't feel like we're at a restaurant. We feel more like we're at a relative's house. The recent change in ownership has really taken it to the next level when it comes to the family atmosphere. And that chef definitely has a talent for making quality comfort food taste great. So if you're in the Fort Wayne area, you shouldn't pass up a chance to eat here. It's worth the trip. read more

My husband and I came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was our first visit and we weren't sure if we were supposed to wait to be seated or seat yourself, but a nice man told us that we could see it ourselves. Just ordered the fish sandwich that was the special. Sat here for 30 minutes and not one single plate came out for any of the tables that entire time. Not sure what takes so long for simple food like this, but I won't be coming back. read more

We came here for breakfast when we were looking for a house, and it was so good that we try to make it out as often as we can on Saturdays. My hubby's favorite is the scramble with everything on it--if you ask for the potatoes and bacon crispy they actually *do* it, which is something in and of itself. I usually get the chicken and waffle--they make their own chicken fingers and they are definitely a yummy change from the pre-frozen bagged junk a lot of places have. Kids' meals are reasonable and come with a drink, so my kiddos always get chocolate milk and pancakes with m&ms. We finally got around to trying their new dinner menu and it was night and day difference between this place and the other local sit-down dinner place across the bridge in Grabill! I had a customized rice bowl, hubby had the pork tenderloin, and the kids split a giant nacho platter, plus we all had milkshakes. It was all really really good, as was the service. The milkshakes come in all sorts of flavors, and they're worth the trip alone. We'll definitely be back pretty often. So glad there's a great dinner option nearby! read more

This was on of my favorite meals during my recent trip to Indiana. I was invited to lunch here after a meeting and was quite surprised by both the service and the quality of food served here. It is much elevated from cafes in comparable small towns. The three people I ate with are regulars here and the waitress brought out drinks for them as soon as they sat down. She brought me a menu to look over. I ended up having a Santa Fe chicken wrap with sidewinders (slightly spicy curved homemade potato wedges) and raspberry tea. The wrap was so good! It had southwest spicy sauce and black beans and corn in it in addition to the other ingredients. The people I sat with ordered chili, gumbo, a burger and a grilled cheese. They all enjoyed their meal and hot coffee to warm up on a cold day. If you are in this area, this is a great place for a meal! read more

We were on spring break and needed to grab some breakfast/brunch (11 am). This is the second time we've been here. We walked in and were the only ones there for only about five minutes. It was a rainy Tuesday. We were pleasantly greeted. The place is cozy and bright. I like the decor. My daughter got the mickey pancake and half meat (2 pieces of bacon) for $5.50. My son got a Belgian waffle. We ordered a plate of hash browns (fried potatoes crispy with onions) for $2.50. I asked about the cinnamon roll which they said was homemade for $3. I probably wouldn't get that again. Everything was good. They did have problems with the waffle and kept trying to make it. It took about 25 minutes because of this to get our food. The waffle was crisp and good. I wish they would've let me know about the problem before 25 minutes had passed. They didn't charge us for it. The server was new but she was great. We will for sure go back as we live locally. They make their pie and soups homemade from what I heard her tell another table. The other tables were getting their food quickly. The ladies who came in ordered sandwiches and their plates looked good and plentiful. read more

Recently remodeled, this small town cafe is a friendly, great place for breakfast or lunch. Very good food at extremely reasonable prices. The interior is cheery and open, with attractive graphics on the walls. I had a great ham and cheese omelet. My wife enjoyed a flatbread which rivals any that other restaurants serve. Leo is a nice small town with a huge furniture store and several home decor shops as well. Also, don't miss the Olde Church Shop. Worth the short drive. read more
