Here are the reasons why: - Staff greet you and get you set up. Don't forget Insurance card and ID. - Registration area- Every staff member makes sure you are there for the right test and will call your doctor if there are any issues. They also keep you posted with any changes. -The technicians and staff that does the testing will check again and make sure you are okay before and after the test is done. Yes, trying to get an appointment on the phone is rough and difficult. Do not give up. When calling to schedule appointment we had two tests to be done and could only get appointments with two separate locations. When we got to the appointment and told them what happened, They helped us out and we got both test done here. There is a parking lot with an attendant on premise. Just remember. Tests like PET Scans are done at other another location and not on this site.

I applaud each and everyone who helped me. When my boyfriend and I went there earlier for x-ray early morning as first people to arrive when they do, they quickly was able to check him in, nicely allow me to wait close by and showed me where I can sit, and finished his X-ray in less than a few minutes. Their rate of providing printed CD was faster than all other radiology locations. They print it right away on the spot instead of hours later. They also mention the issue because they know it's important to follow up right away, whereas other clinics ask you to wait for the report to be done in whatever time from they conclude. Furthermore, even though they say report takes 2 days, the doctor actually already received the completed report in less than an hour. I recommend going early at opening hours for less longer line.

Do not use this company. They hire employees who don't want to process prior authorizations…read more Scenario: I went to urgent care for a head neck injury as well as flu like symptoms. Somebody is to blame stop shifting responsibility to the next party after you get paid. If you don't care for your patients don't open a Health CARE practice. Pro: new and empty Step 1: Go to Urgent Care with head back injury. Step 2: Doctor prescribes pain meds and writes a referral to go to CT SCANS. I asked them not send me to Zwanger Pesiri for Radiology tests because they wouldn't even give me medical records for 2 years. But I can't believe the robotic answers. "Sorry this is our only partner and we don't do open referrals." Then when I go to Zwanger in person with a script that is marketed for Zwanger to limit patients from going to other companies the staff tells me, "I CAN GO ANYWHERE with a Zwanger Script." Next Step 3: Get an appointment and hope the insurance, referring doctor's office and Radiology office work together to achieve AUTHORIZATION. SO WHY AM I STUCK HERE WITH AN APPOINTMENT BUT NO AUTHORIZATION. SEVERE PAIN, YET I CAN'T RETURN TO WORK. Fran said "We don't handle authorizations." I asked them not to send me to Zwanger Pesiri Radiology in the first place. That company has a horrible track record of not caring for patients. So I called Zwanger again to find out why. They said they don't have the proper clinical notes and the doctor's office AFC URGENT CARE is required to process all docs for approval. Urgent care says they don't have capabilities to handle prior authorizations. But there's a reason why. These doctors don't listen. I have had to wait over a week for a script to be sent over for authorization. If Zwanger doesn't have your back why partner? Fran said she couldn't give me a corporate number. She is a robot. I don't know if she's trained to be one.

I find it rare that when a company becomes as large as Zwanger, they keep the personal touch associated with their business. For me Zwanger did just that, they were personable, and passionate, knowledgeable and willing to help. The results were a little delayed (thats why four stars) but I dont think that is a regular occurrence.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience of my first invasive diagnostic procedure…read more(let's hope I won't need more!). I felt nervous & anxious, not so much about the procedure itself but what the results might reveal (in a few wks), but the staff was very kind, professional, compassionate, informative, caring & considerate. I agree the waiting room chairs could well stand to be replaced (soon would be good), they kind of creeped me out, but the more important aspect is the quality of medical care & treatment provided. The sanitary, sterile & ethical medical steps taken during my biopsy were impressive & reassuring. The team did everything to ensure my comfort, explained everything in an unrushed manner, patiently addressed every question I asked, & were friendly & communicative throughout, both with me & with each other. I quickly felt confident I was in good, professional, competent hands. Aftercare was as thorough & caring as were prep & procedure. I appreciate that each medical professional asked questions to ensure that the correct things were going to be done & that I understood what was happening. Dr Ewell was very gentle, informative, knowledgeable & engaging. He was patient, thorough & treated me like a human, not just another job or number. I wish more doctors could have his bedside manner. The same is true of the nurse Tiffany who carried out all her responsibilities with my safety and comfort in mind. It's a sad thing to say that too many professionals these days are disconcertingly dismissive, disengaged & sometimes rather cold. I understand the medical profession is stressful (I've worked in it for 24 yrs) but these negatives are disheartening to concerned patients looking for answers to their illness while hoping they're not dying of something. And we're all patients at some point. I truly appreciate the wonderful team who turned a medically-minor-but-personally-worrisome procedure into a reassuring experience. My gratitude to Dr Ewell, Tiffany & Irina. Words can't adequately express my appreciation for their skill & level of professionalism & expertise. My treatment was above & beyond what I anticipated when I first walked in. Here's hoping for pathology results as pleasant & encouraging as today's experience was. Might I add this location is in a nice & easily accessible part of Forest Hills on Queens Blvd (the actual address is 113-02 Qns Blvd & 76 Ave corner, street level). The F train is 1 block away at 75 St. Lots of places to eat & shop on Qns Blvd, though I saw mostly medical/dental offices, pharmacies, furniture/home improvement businesses, & a nice variety of eateries. I found a lovely playground nearby (on Austin St) to sit & reflect for a while before heading home. (You see the LIRR trains zip right alongside it but they are pretty quiet. The greenery offers nice coverage while it's still warm.) O.G.

However upon entering these doors is another story. I waited 1 hr in the main room. I was told to come in early. I came in 12:45 for 1pm appointment. The room wasn't so busy when I arrived but as time passed the number of patients increased. After 1hr and 20 minutes of waiting in the main room I was brought downstairs. To what I would like to call their dungeon. Lower level offers multiple rooms with a small claustrophobic size waiting room. Where all the chairs had broken pleather seats. I was asked to wait in the waiting room and 2 patients were brought down to same waiting room as me. I waited another 30 minutes. From where I sat I saw two technicians in a room discussing a case but with no patient in the room. They discussed away for 45 minutes before they came out and they asked for one of the patients that came after me to go into the room with them. I quickly asked how much longer would it be. Down the hall there was a dr/technician in a room that I never saw anyone walk into. He had the door open and had a very bad cool. He kept hacking up a lung every few seconds, then blowing his nose and coughing uncontrollably. I was starting to get very worried this guy was going to do my consultation. Let alone the fact that he is coughing and going to infect the rest of the people on this floor!!!!!! I was really few seconds short of high tailing out of there. Very grossed out. If you are sick stay home and don't come in to share your germs with the rest of your patients. Receptionist came down to the dungeon to tell me after 1 hr that they are going to see me shortly. I asked her if I can go back upstairs because I was starting to feel light headed. Frankly wanted out of that germ infested floor! Definitely don't recommend this place! Very disorganized and staff doesn't keep to your appointments.

She answered all my questions and made sure I was all set before going in for my appointment. The doctor was ok. He didn't introduce himself. Lol I have no idea what his name is. I like that he was very straight to the point, though. He kept it simple. Told me what I needed to know and didn't waste any time getting me into the MRI machine. I had severe back pain and he helped me up and out of the machine even though it took forever lol. The reasons why I give such a low rating is because (1) it smelled funny in there. Like they may be battling a rodent problem? It smelled like a mouse had died in the walls or something. (2) I waited over two hours past my appointment time to get MRI done. It's not the worst place in the world, but I would recommend looking around for another place before settling on this one. Since that visit, I've gone to Neighborhood Radiology on Metropolitan Avenue in Forest Hills. A MUCH better experience. Try there if you can.
