I took my car in for service because the car shook when brakes were applied. My husband replaced the bearing hub on one side, but the other side was stripped so had to take to Lennys. We did not tell them that a new part had been put on so they told us both sides were shot and needed both. It had been less than a week since new one put on. These people are scammers. On another note, when we went into shop to pay, we were standing there and woman immediately got on phone and told us go sit down till she could get to us. Charged for the work just didn't do anything!!! Took my Acura to them for an alignment and airbag cable replacement. They put the car on the alignment rack but did not align it. Mechanic told me he did not have the tool needed to do an alignment but charged me the full alignment price. Charged me for replacing the airbag cable but all they did was to clear the error code. Now I have to pay another mechanic to align the car and replace the cable. Payed them $400.00 for NOTHING. Do Not use at any cost they are a DANGER to your life and the life of all others on the road around you. read more

Went just to fill my front tire for the 3rd time in a week- noticed a screw in my tire which must've been there for quite some time. I walked in to ask for a pricing and they gave me a large range so I was expecting the high end. They said it may take a while but it took 2 days including a day off for them. The price was lower than expected and the front desk was quick with their responses and didn't waste time. So been there when at old place. Same owner that owns a few bars that don't go so well. Got an inspection , emission , oil change and rear brake pads with rotors. Remind you that I have a f-150 with 18,000 miles on it and could have done brakes myself but since I wanted to give a few bucks to my local business I got screwed majorly. How much do you think rear brakes with rotors. Remind you got inspection with them last year and put 3,000 or so on truck. And yes I paid 130 or so on an oil change with them. Again giving business because truck inspection is all I needed. 905 dollars !!! 654 for rear brakes with rotors !! Yes, it is true, the service rep not only complained to me about another Intoxalock customer, she devoldged private information related to this individual.. read on for details. My install was quoted by Intoxalock at $250.00, my vehicle is, all stock no modifications and a typical turn key start vehicle. I returned for my vehicle and keys. The service women at Lennys begins to complain to me about another Intoxalock customer. They obviously have no regard for privacy in this situation. The service center continues on about this 60 y/o women, as to imply, age should be a factor. Wow did the RED FLAGS appear, holy S@$! As an IT Professional for 25 years, I realize data privacy needs to be taken very seriously, as another Intoxalock customer's how about my own privacy? Doesnt this service Center realize there are strict laws pertaining to the identity and privacy of Ignition interlock customers or do they just not give a s@#! Lenny's was the tow service chosen by Triple A to tow my car. I was quoted an hour wait time. After waiting for THREE hours and various calls to Triple A, I finally reached out to the auto shop myself. I was then told I would have to wait for another hour for the tow to come. I asked why I wasn't informed about the long wait time after I was misquoted for over two hours, and the man on the phone decided to place all blame on Triple A without accepting any responsibly for terrible customer service. After a total of 3.5 hours of waiting, I was informed (through Triple A) that Lenny's would no longer be able to tow my car. If they were responsible, they would have cancelled my tow the minute after I was over quoted if their two drivers were seriously 'held up.' It's clear to me that ownership/mgmt must not know what they are doing, or how to do good business in the service industry. I literally re-downloaded Yelp just to make this review. Lenny was great my wife son and daughter and most of all my grandkids were sick in mo valley in our Honda CRV we only have about 29000 miles on so I had no problems with the car it's been great so when they went in the trip today I wasn't worried about anything until my wife calls and said that a load nosies was coming from the engine and that she was scared now I'm 1 1/2 minutes away at work so I call around to find a good repair place and out of the four places I call Lenny's name keep coming up so I call and he said he can fix it now for us it turned to be the water pump and serpentine belt he gave me quote-for only 450 and fixed it in 2 hours this guy is great I will let everyone know about him thanks Lenny for being there for my family I'm a customer for life read more

Needed a bolt screwed into a trailer hitch my husband was installing. He had trouble with one bolt and since Lenny's was close to home we thought we'd take it in and have them screw in the bolt for us. Told us to bring it in at 2:00. Was met by some rudeness at front desk. They weren't ready for us yet so we left car there and walked home. Around 5:00 and still no word we stop by hoping to pick up the car. Still not ready. Get a call at 5:30. Car is ready. They had trouble with the threading and so it took them 2.5 hours to fix!! She told us we should be charged for 3 hours but they gave us a deal and only charged us for 2 hours of labor(lucky us). We paid $229 to have them tighten the bolt we provided! I wish I had read the other reviews sooner. Had they been upfront about the cost, we would have gone elsewhere. Never again! read more

He totally makes you feel like dirt for having the nerve to ask him to do his job. I literally sat in the only chair in the waiting area right in front of someone at the cash register and they didn't even acknowledge me for 17 minutes. You can usually tell how a business feels about their customers by looking at the state of their waiting area....theirs has old car parts, trash, empty boxes...its filthy...just an absolute disgrace. Called AAA for emergency service, took Lenny's over a an hour and a half to get from Royersford to Collegeville for a routine jump to a dead battery (in good weather, no traffic). Huh, guess he must have taken the long way (ya think!) And can anyone explain why a service call for Collegeville is being triaged through a AAA dispatcher in Pittsburgh? Best part was the Pittsburgh dispatcher explaining that the cause of the delay was the driver first had to tow a car from Royersford to Media (28 miles away) before doing the jump in Collegeville (5 miles)-hilarious. read more

Do not use this business if you are looking for auto repair services! The people running this business are neither honest nor reputable. We had our car towed here because they were a local company and we wanted to support a local business. My husband and I were very happy with the tow service by the way. However, the auto repair business is a different story entirely. The morning after our car was towed, we got a call from Tracy in the service department. She said the mechanic would look at our car and then she would get back to use with an estimate. After the mechanic looked at our car, it was estimated that the cost of the repair would be over $200. We were a bit surprised given that we knew that the part itself (radiator hose) was around $15 online (RockAuto). Could the labor portion of the bill really be that much???? My husband told Tracy that we were not going to move forward with the repair given the cost and that instead, we were going to have our car towed to the dealership where we bought the car. It was at that point that Tracy informed us that we owed Lenny's $50 for the diagnostic work! What??!! At no point did Tracy EVER inform us that they charge a diagnostic fee just to look at our car. Nor did she inform us that we would be liable for this charge whether or not we went ahead with the repairs. The lack of integrity of this company and the people working here is unbelievable. I am not saying that a company cannot charge a diagnostic fee. However, if that is your company's policy, at least have the honesty and integrity to inform people of that upfront. We will never use this company's services again and I would caution anyone looking for a local auto repair service to take their business elsewhere! read more

I took my baby, 1996 Pontiac Formula Firebird, into Lennys Garage, several years ago to have a high speed fan repaired, the 3rd one under the hood. Apparently, there was a Tom WoLf working there at that time, who was instructed on the work that needed to be done. I paid a bill, of approx $500s. When the car was returned to me, there was an additional 100 miles put on it, shown on the receipt!! Not only that but the 3rd fan had been hot wired, and the end results were blown heads after it had been repaired in this manner. Now, the car I worked for, for years, as a pediatric Nurse, sits with blown heads in my yard. This information recently came to light. Nice Nice job guys!!! Its no wonder I dont trust ANYONE TO EVEN TOUCH IT!! Thankfully, Im much more alert and mindful regarding my vehicles. I do not just trust, trust, trust. I am a professional woman, but not a motor head. I understand little about motors, but I know when the speedometer reads one number on the receipt and another on the car!!! Thanks alot Tom WoLf and Lenny for overseeing my car with such tender care. I worked very hard to get that car and thoroughly enjoyed driving my car around, now, that joy has been ripped right away from me. I just want to cry. I was so nieve and trusting. What the hell is this world coming to?? I just cringe everytime I look out at my beautiful car. It looks so nice just sitting in my yard!!! I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER TAKE MY CAR TO LENNYS GARAGE, IF IT WAS THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH. YOU ARE JUST HORRIBLE PEOPLE/WORKERS??? Thats just so unprofessional and unbelievably IGNORANT!!!
