I've been going here for a couple a months now I get designs with my pedicures all the time but slowly it seemed like my designs were always becoming an issue. The one time I complained about my designs not being the way I asked and even showed a picture of what I wanted. Now my phone is passed to every nail tech to talk about my designs even laughing just making the experience uncomfortable. Then just told that they can't do my design. Just won't even try. 10/10 won't be coming back. I send the most of $130 just getting my toes done including the tip. I've let them completely change other designs I've had but the one time I have a problem they don't have want to work with me. read more

I called they told me 17$ for a fill in and 27 for my friend. I was paying for my friend Bc it's her birthday. My total came up at 87$ I asked how and they said they were long. Mine are long but at home i pay 10$ for fill and gel. They don't do much for a fill in!! I was there like 4 weeks ago and got a fill in with gel shaped and had 3 broken and only payed 27$. Their prices are crazy and not consistent at all I don't not recommend. They made both of us bleed!! read more

i used to go here when they were under the old management but during my last visit, it was horrible. I feel that becasue i am an African American man, they did not have to give me good service. I got a deluxe manicure and pedicure and they gave me less than the basics. They will get ANYBODY to come and do them for you. This lady that they sent, did half of the things that I usually get done. She did not even clean under my fingernails just soaked them and then put a drill on the top of them so when they grew out it looked smooth and rough on the top. Neither the pedicure or the manicure felt like it did when i leave other places. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE. read more

I have actually gotten my nails done here 3 times prior to the one I'm leaving my review based on, and was not only satisfied but pleasantly surprised with the quality of my nails each time .. but this last visit was bad enough to cancel out all of those positive experiences. I came on Christmas Eve so I did expect a crowd, but was told once I signed in that the full set of dip powder nails I wanted would be no issue and was taken to a seat by a male nail tech. I also requested a basic pedicure while my prior set of nails were soaking off. The issues began there. I had already picked out what shade of red I wanted for my nails, and told him I'd take any close match he could find in regular polish. I showed him I wanted the basic pedicure ($32) and he began. I have no complaints about the pedicure itself, only that he charged me for gel polish when I specifically asked for regular when given the choice. The pedicure took about 10 min longer than expected so I was hoping that my nails would be fairly quick, and I was very wrong. I asked for almond shaped nails just like the ones I'd shown him before he removed them, and wanted them all one solid color of red. That is a very simple request for me and knowing how well they've done with my previously more complicated requests.. I thought that would be no problem. It was after he clipped my cuticle with a drill and then had to remove multiple tips he'd applied because there were 2 instead of 1 that I realized I was in trouble. I then asked him if he could apply a single rhinestone at the base of each of my ring fingers, in hopes of helping distract from the uneven shape of my nails and the mismatch of color that somehow happened as well. He seemed to have trouble understanding me at first, but the nail tech next to us; who was doing a phenomenal job on the girl beside me; told me they could do it and he understood.. yet she still watched as he instead dipped my red nail in a coat of glitter.. and never said a word. At this point I'd been inside over 90 min and my mom was outside in the car with my 2 & 1 year old boys, so I decided to let it go until I could get them fixed. By the time he finished.. I ended up with what you see here. Very NOT almond shaped, uneven, multicolored, not what I asked for and very far from what I wanted set of nails. I've had my nails done at a cosmetology school before and had them do a much more impressive job than this. I really can't afford to pay the $98 it ended up costing me again; but I can't wait to at least get these soaked off so I don't have to look at them anymore. I did tip him though folks before anyone gets judgey, LOL, so $110 total. I'd also love to speak to anyone in management about rectifying this situation as my call was never returned. read more

This place has horrible customer service . Been coming here for years and since the new owner from Atlanta took it over in the 2018 or 2019 it has been Downhill. The new owner is an older man which employees his daughters , he can't keep employees, if you make an appointment it's still a 3 hour wait. Which I have endured on more than one occasion. Not only are they slow and under staffed, to accompany the hours long wait, it is also a different Price every time you come . what is the point in having $10 off loyal customer stamp cards if he will not honor it ?? There are better places to bring your business , The nail bar (both locations are great) , polished, happy nails , Beverly Hills nails . All of these locations will treat you better than the management at lenas nails by Kroger on oil well and that's guaranteed. read more

I've visited Lena Nails many times. I have always had a great experience with Linda. When I made my appointment I was told that Linda was already booked so I agreed to go with whoever was available. Big Mistake! The guy who did my pedicure was too busy on his cell to pay attention to his client. He barely trimmed my cuticles, he didn't clean under the nails or scrub my feet. When I asked him to trim my nails he literally trim the nail on one toe. The polish job was so bad I had to redo it when I got home. This was the worst pedicure ever. I Told one of the ladies that I did not get the hot rock massage the guyThat done my pedicure walked over and said yes he did I said I am no liar I don't have to lie over hot rocks you did not do it I don't want you touching me let someone else do it the lady sitting next to me spoke up and said that I never got no hot rock massage and that he was lying then when I went to get my nails done I was on the phone and not paying attention I told them that I want it a full set with regular polish not gel! after I hung up the phone I realized they had put gel on me without asking me and then hit me a bill of $101 when I ask for a full set that would have only been $30 with regular polish and when I told the lady what got done to me she was very rude and then try to convince me the man that done my feet did use hot rocks and that I was the liar because she had video footage of him walking to the back getting hot rocks I said ma'am you might have that footageI said ma'am you might have that footage of him getting rocks but you don't have footage of him putting them on my legs and people next to me never seen him do it I am no lier neither are the people next to me and I asked her why would she put gel on my hands when I did not ask for it do not go to these people they will not give you what you pay for and then charge you extra for things that you don't even ask for they need to be shut down this is the third time they have been rude to me I will never go here again , the last time they put me out because I had brought my two kids with me that were being quiet eating a happy meal and looking on their phones and I had an appointment and had to wait one hour and then be told that my kids could not stay in there that are five and 10 years old so I had to leave because my kids could not stay in there my kids were being quiet they were watching their phones not even speaking. read more

I visited Lena nail spa on a whim. While the worker doing my nails was very nice, she didn't paint back as close to the cuticle as I am use to, and as I left the salon it looked as if my polish was already grown out. A week later I had to remove the polish as it was flaking and peeling from being so far from the nail bed. They also offer a complimentary drink. The salon itself is nice and clean, I just wasn't crazy about the finished product. I would like to have my nails last for at least two weeks. read more

the worst experience Ive ever had in a nail salon . They allowed regular customers to jump ahead of me despite me being the second customer present (claimed they had an appointment) . They offered the white lady a beverage , greeted her with a smile . On the other hand I didn't receive a greeting a smile or anything . I tried to talk to the elder lady doing my pedicure to explain to her what I wanted, but all I received was a cold stare. I never felt so less than in my entire life . I've heard of them being pricey but that didn't matter bc it was my BIRTHDAY . I guess they assumed bc of my brown skin and dreadlocks that I was a cheap customer who didn't deserve decent customer service . never will I return . I only stayed to see how they were treating other customers . I'll be sure to pass the story of my experience along . Spend your money where you are valued . Customer service very poor. I showed a picture of what I would like & was told they couldn't do it so requested they just do nice design in which a customer chimed in saying. No if I don't like I won't pay & nail tech agreed. money is not an issue for me & shouldn't have been assumed it was. Pedicure was fine but after finished I waited almost 2hrs while others without appointments were taken ahead of me & my nails were terrible I hated them & they were poorly done & lifted in a few days. Price wasn't an issue for me & I tip well but I sat listening to them cater to others who showed pics of what they wanted & requested the cheapest way to make their nails nice & was told how they can make beautiful design & add diamond but yet I couldn't get anything as I requested. I came here when interviewing from out of state. I broke my nail on the plane and this was the closest place to the university. Selena did an amazing job! After moving to Jackson almost a year later, I remembered her and Lena Nail Spa. I have faithfully gone to her and she has always done a perfect job! This was one of the worst nail salon experiences ever. The young lady doing my pedicure kept filling the tub with water so hot that I had to keep removing my feet - and I'm not generally sensitive to hot water. She actually grabbed my foot and held it in the water trying to convince me that it wasn't that hot! Then The manicurist painted my fingernails a different shade of red than my toenails.
