I had a fantastic experience at this pet store thanks to one of the employees, Steven who helped me choose the right food for my dog. He took the time to listen to my dog's needs, explain the differences between several brands, and recommend options that were both healthy and affordable. My dog is usually pretty picky, but he loves the new food and is eating much better now. I really appreciated how friendly, patient, and knowledgeable Steven was patient and I never felt rushed or pressured to buy the most expensive product. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this store to anyone who needs help finding the best food for their pets. So I bought two of the most expensive flea collars I have ever seen the Soresto, after the recommendation from one of the clerks. The things do NOT work. Then when I call the shop to ask about the return policy they tell me, "We cannot take the return because there are chemicals in it." Are. You. Kidding. Me. So here I am stuck with these stupidly expensive collars that are useless. Yes I followed the directions btw. I have tried nearly every natural product recommended from that store with no solution and I am over it. I am also over their prices. I think I am going to stick with Petsmart. While they tend to lack in the customer service experience as far as being helpful, at least their return policy and their prices make sense. read more

Wonderful that they allow the Vip pet vet to come every two weeks to vaccinate dogs and cats. For first timers there is a 20% discount on the website. Love this pet store in Morro Bay, located conveniently right off the freeway yet still very close to downtown. They have everything you would ever need for your pet like treats, food, beds, toys, kennels, etc. My favorite thing about Lemos is the self washing stations for dogs that you could come in and pay for to wash your dogs on your own. We came here after a nice (and muddy) hike and was able to wash all three of our dogs in the self washing station. They give you shampoo/conditioner and a towel. The station also includes a nice enclosed area with a ramp, so the dogs can comfortably walk up into the watering station without having to jump up. There's even a nice blow drying machine that you can use to dry them off once you're done. My dogs had a great time and left feeling really fluffy and smelling amazing! Having worked in the Pet Industry for over 30 years it's hard to be wowed at this point. But you had me at "Hello" Lemos Feed with even the first phone call. Mike took my call and right out of the gate his product and Industry knowledge were exceptional. He patiently walked me through options leaning first towards natural solutions which I appreciate. I was previously a distributor for one of the products he suggested and his presentation was very clear and accurate (even though he did not know my connection) If I were a secret shopper (which I am not) , Mike would have received solid 10s across the board. Since I am only here for a short time he also gave me some very important regional safety tips for my dog. It's also so refreshing to not be a local yet be treated like one and that my business was valued. When first walking into the store I was wowed again by the outstanding merchandising. The lighting, product placement and selection were wonderful!!! And then more friendly customer service by Braeden (hope I got the name correct) who being extra cautious, offered to get Mike off his lunch break to verify the product he recommended. We always make an effort to stop by Lemos when in Morro! This trip we used their self service dog washing station after a long day at the beach. Workers were extremely accommodating, washing stations were very clean, and my pup left smelling nice and clean. $17 was well worth it. They even provided aprons to keep you dry and waterproof collars to borrow in case your pup is ready to jump out. Thank you Lemos!!! read more

Cutest little pet store stocked with tons of pet supplies, treats, food, gifts you name it! Service here is great we got asked multiple times if we need help. And out baby got some treats too. He was a happy boy! They even have a self wash station for you to use they set you up and provide soap, towels, apron, everything you need. Was great since we just got back from the dog beach! They have the freeze dried treats which are my dogs favorite. One ingredient really good for him. So we had to stock up! Definitely worth the stop in. Will be back!! read more

My husband went in with our golden doodle to get poop sacks. The check out person asked if could give our dog a treat. My husband said that he could. Our dog wouldn't take any of the treats from him. So he sent them home with three samples of treats for our dog to try at home! Our fur baby loved them! We will be back to get them from Lemo's! read more

A seventeen doller self service dog wash by a dog beach is absolutely perfect. We came in and they immediately let us put Ro into a tub. There were little steps for her to climb up, which I thought was a really nice touch. We got the papaya and coconut shampoo and conditioner, which smelled so delicious. The water is both hot and cold, so you're not just bathing your pup in cold water like some dog washes. The dryers are also right next to the sink. They were nice and powerful. This dog was is definitely designed by people who are washing their dogs for efficiency. The actual store seemed very nice and clean. We were just giving our dog a bath. We met some locals on the beach while we were having some fun times with our doggo and they suggested Lemos to get him cleaned up after! So thankful for the suggestion especially since we are on vacation and don't have to place to get him cleaned up at. Lemos is only a few minutes drive from the dog friendly beach. They have a self wash station for pets for $15. They provide the towel, the shampoo, the dryer, and of course, the washing station! You can take as much time as you like there. They also provide a water proof collar for your pet so you can leash them to the tub (so they don't randomly jump out.) For the shampoo, they have several choices to choose from too! So there has to be one that is a good fit for your doggo. The employee that helped me through the process was extremely helpful since it was our first time there! The dryer that they provided was super powerful so it got our little one dry in no time! Super happy with this place and would definitely recommend! read more

They even have single frozen marrow bones ..perfect when you forget to bring one and have 8 back home. I have some great memories of Lemos. I grew up on a ranch, and my family always used to get a lot of our animal supplies here. This is probably one of the few places where you can get your dog or cat spayed or neutered, fed, and accessorized all at once while buying hay, oats, and/or alfalfa for your cow or horse. I still associate Lemos with pig ears for our labrador, shots for our cats, chicken feed, and even a rat cage we once picked up for our rat, Tootsie, when I was little. The service never exactly quick, but the staff was always personable and knew all their regular customers by name. It's still a great place to get your house pet and basic farm animal supplies! read more

We take our little dogs here for a bath every couple of weeks using the self-service dog wash. It is so much easier than bending down over the bathtub and bathing them, and you can walk away and let someone else do the cleanup! Two suggestions; charge less for little dogs (I put both in the same tub and use only one bottle of shampoo) and have a frequent user card (buy 10 get one free). Otherwise we like this place. The two reasons I go to Lemos are the customer service and the higher quality dog food and treats. I am greeted the minute I walk into the door, I am asked if they can help me with anything, and they do there best to special order anything that chain stores don't carry. We had our two dog's teeth cleaned at the Clinic today. What a wonderful value. Their teeth are very clean, and they did not have to be put to sleep. The Vet was amazing. Stopped here after a day at the beach to give our little one a bath. We love the self wash station. The store is well stocked, super clean and organized and the staff are helpful. We had stopped here shortly after their grand opening on our last visit to morro bay, at that time the self wash hadn't been open yet. Aside from all the helpful folks with regards to pet products, I have gotten my christmas trees here for years. This year, I got in late and the selection was a high mountain nobel fir--tall and skinny with sparse branches. But it turned out to be the best tree ever! VERY fresh, little needle drop, and the folks at Lemos cut it down to a size that would fit in my house. Great way to display all the ornaments.
