We were there for Sunday brunch and it was full but we were able to get a table right away, we were 3 so the server asked a party of 2 to move to a different table to give us a little more space. The place is small but they have a few tables outside. We ordered a vegan wrap, chicken curry and quinoa omelette. Big portions and great flavor! They have their own hot sauce which was a winner. The server also mentioned all their bread and wraps are gluten free. Service was amazing, with so many options in the menu the server gave a few recommendations. She also told us about her dinner specials and invited us to come back later in the day to try it out. Wow! What a find! In the quest for breakfast/brunch in the area, we ran across Lemoni Cafe while walking down the street. The Atmosphere: This restaurant is pretty small. I wouldn't come here with a huge party, but 2-6 guests should be fine. There are maybe 3-4 tables inside with 2-3 tables outside. I also enjoyed the decor inside the restaurant. The Service: What an amazing staff! There were two waitresses who were taking orders. Both were extremely nice and helped give options on what is good. The Food: I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak ($13) topped with grilled onions, mushrooms, mayo, and provolone cheese. You can either get a side of potato chips or house salad. The Philly was REALLY good. I was glad that it wasn't too cheesy like most Philly's are prepared. I also ordered a side order of bacon ($2). I'll admit, I wasn't expecting THIS MUCH bacon, but it was definitely a lot. Definitely a good amount for the price you pay. Practically a full pack of bacon. Overall, this place is AWESOME. Huge fan!! Mbone is this place serves healthy dishes which is unusual when it comes to getting something good. It's a small place so easy to miss but they do have a indoor and outdoor seats. Again limited. The menu is vast however with lots of choices. I had a chicken and pesto panini which was good but my friend had the gyro with beef and I had a bite and that was delish!! Highly recommended for good healthy good choices. They also have parking behind it but also limited so street parking might be necessary. The people working there were also very nice and the orders came out fast. The music was also great. Anywhere that plays Sade I'm on board! I googled where to find the best vegan pizza and the Miami Times has an article with Lemoni being one of the options and let me just mention as a heads up, THEY DO NOT HAVE PIZZA ON THE MENU! So upon arriving and being disappointed from finding out they do not serve pizza, I decided to still order something due to how far I drove to come here and I was hungry at that. I ordered the coconut cutlet panini. One of the workers recommended that for me if I wanted something vegan and popular. Her recommendation exceeded my expectation and I must say, it was rather delicious. I didn't know how coconut would taste with bread and vegan cheese but it tasted like a chicken patty with the same texture but instead of a chicken flavor, you're tasting savory coconut. Not a great experience at all. I'm willing to come try it again when they lower their prices and fix the quality of food mainly the Skirt Steak. My "Lunch Special" was $19 which is expensive for a "Lunch Special" and there was nothing special about it. The steak wasn't medium like I ordered and my jaw hurts from repeatedly chewing it in order to swallow. I eventually gave up and spit it out, because it was basically gum at this point. I immediately felt sick after eating that and the only thing that probably kept my stomach settled was the bread. I basically paid $19 for a piece of bread since that was the only good thing from my meal. The server was very nice and friendly, I was just hoping for a better experience with the food and ultimately failed. I doubt I come back. Even if I was rich I wouldn't pay those prices for that quality of food. read more

I have been here twice and both times I had a salad. First time it was the tuna salad and today it was the chicken salad. Both times the mixed greens, green peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers had been tossed so well, the vinegrette covered everything evenly. The tuna and chicken salad are fresh and flavorful. The sercive is outstanding. One of thr few places in Miami were the servers treat you well and are attentive. I used to come here all the time a few years ago when I went to school in Miami and it is just as good as I remembered! This is a great spot because they cater to several dietary restrictions. I love the vegan coconut cutlet and I would describe it as a vegan version of a chicken parm panini. It's so delicious that it's hard for me to order anything else! I have also tried the vegan quesadilla, which is very tasty too but nothing tops the cutlet panini for me. Had an impromptu dinner here with a friend. She was excited for me to try this place and so was I based on her description. It's a quaint little cafe just outside of the Design District. There was some outdoor seating which was nice because it was a pretty nice evening. We opted to sit inside. There only seemed to be one server and the place became pretty busy as it was a Saturday night. Service suffered a little bit from that. I ordered one of the popular sandwiches but was surprised that a bag of Frito-Lay chips was the non-green side option. I expected fresh baked chips or fries or something else as an option. Cute little cafe with an excellent and diverse menu. Parking is in the street but there's always plenty. The food is always fresh and there are options for everyone. I enjoyed their cookies of course, that's my go to. The were soft, moist, rich rounds of chocolatey goodness. Lookin like something straight outta a nestle's commercial. The only suggestion I'd make to take these over the top would to be adding a bit of salt to the recipe. Regardless this cafe is dynamite and the service is super warm, inviting and grateful. Every time we come the food is incredible and we have yet to try something on the menu that disappoints. It's a cornucopia of flavor and color; the food is always fresh, balanced, and well seasoned.
