After passing this restaurant every day, I finally decided we had to give it a try. Generally, when you see a restaurant attached to a gas station it's a chain, but not this one. We had a wonderful experience sampling street tacos, burritos, and numerous types of salsa. Having dinner here is quite the experience if you're not a fan of Tejano music and watching MMA from Mexico. We enjoyed it as part of the total experience. Optional outside seating available as well. Our meal was prepared with fresh ingredients. I particularly loved my homemade corn tortillas that came with my street tacos. Our meal was complete with churros to take home. Fun and attentive staff. My daughter was craving tacos and my cousin recommended this restaurant. It's located next to a gas station and they also have crawfish boil on their menu. Colorful restaurant, when we walked in I noticed the skeleton couple right by the door. We went to order take out, the guy gave us the menu and asked us to have a seat, he will come take our orders. While waiting for the food, we walked to the bar and ordered a margarita, the bar tender recommended the watermelon margarita and gave us a fresh slice watermelon with tajin dip. The elote was sweet and creamy, my niece loves the chicken quesadilla, and the guacamole was super fresh and tasty. read more

My hubby stopped by here earlier in the week and had been dying to try this location as it's literally down the street from us. He came back raving about the tacos so we went today to try them. We had the 5 mini street tacos with Al pastor and they were the bomb. It came with charro beans chips salsa. Everything was super yummy. We will be going back to try more items on the menu for sure. read more

The best little Mexican food restaurant in all of Tomball and Magnolia. And The Woodlands! We were out that way recently headed home at dinner time and have seen the restaurant many times but never stopped. This time we were curios and needed to decompress from a long work day. So happy we did! The place is SO cute and decorated with vibrant colors. The margaritas were delicious and so was our food. We ordered birria enchiladas and the fajita street tacos. Honestly, it is my new favorite restaurant and we are excited to go back and take our kids. Service was quick and friendly. LOVE this little gem! read more

We are here for our first time as driving by it had a nice Mexico flavored vibe. The food was excellent!! The taco meat had a complex flavor and our other dish was beef enchiladas and equally as delicious. The restaurant is fun inside when huge screen tv's and friendly waiters. I was very impressed by this restaurant. My only negative, but not really one, is that they need to expand the dining room. The outside patio is great, but once Houston does it's thing it's not going to be the most comfortable to sit outside. Plus it's so good they're going to need a bigger restaurant anyways haha. The food was delicious! I had the beef and chicken fajitas. The chicken was cooked so well, and didn't have that rubbery texture that sometimes occurs. The flavors were so wonderful and the presentation was just as good. Service was awesome and we even got to see, I believe the owners, sing. Which wow they had amazing voices. This was the first time my wife and I have seen here. It's just 3 minutes from where we live. The staff was great good food love the atmosphere was engaging. The only issue was the music was a little loud so it was hard to have conversation. We will definitely go back. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now, and finally did this past weekend. I have to say, that the food was great! Everything we ordered was flavorful, warm, and the plates were filling. We were able to try their margaritas, which were perfect. I tend to like my salsa, a little warmer, but it had just enough spice to make it enjoyable. The actual interior of the restaurant was decorated nicely, with decorations representing the los Muertos, along with some local Mexican fair. Our waiter was friendly enough, but I have to knock off the star, simply for the fact that we asked for some additional things, such as more salsa, more limes, onions, and they were never brought to us. This wasn't a huge deal, however, the restaurant was not busy at all, so not sure how our request were forgotten. Overall, this is one of my new favorite spots and will return regularly. read more

i wanted to start by saying my husband and i come here all the time and even recommend this place to family and friends but im so disappointed with my last visit... the cook fed me cheese that was very obviously expired, you smelled it as soon as it got to the table.. i gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to eat it anyways (BIG MISTAKE) i was fighting vomiting immediately and actually spit it out.. the server knew immediately something was wrong and tried arguing that that cheese was fresh before even going to the kitchen to confirm.. My second visit was not nearly as good as my first. I ordered Tacos Dorados: one chorizo, one pollo, one nopal. When they came, it was two pollo, one nopal. Ok. The pollo was basically cubed chicken breast with no flavor. The nopal taco was soggy and fell apart. They gave me one thin napkin with which to eat this finger food. Also, a long hair was in one of my tacos that I had a hard time removing due to having no napkins with which to wipe my fingers. Decided to give it a try. I'm from cali and Mexican food back home is way better then tex mex. Every Mexican place we have tried has been terrible to us. But this place tops off the others by far. Very good flavour and quality. Staff was nice and who ever owns this place, definitely had a vision because the decorations are very cool. Different and refreshing. Loved the style. Today we decided to try Lemon y Sal, and we were not disappointed. As soon as we sat down, our waiter Eduardo was very attentive and giving us suggestions. I tried the mango margarita and chicken fajitas. The margarita was yummy! Food was delicious and the homemade flour tortillas complemented the meal. Additionally, the owners Abraham and Yesenia constantly checked on us to ensure we were receiving a great service. We will definitely return because they told us they have karaoke every Friday. You NEVER bring the check halfway the meal is being eaten unless requested...and worse if you send it with someone else than the actual server/waiter, besides that individual never came back to the table and check on me to see how I was enjoying my meal or if I needed anything I got slapped with my check. I wanted to try their cafe de olla and a desert... even if I said "Cafe de Olla" 3 times I got served regular coffe. I was really excited to see they offered café de olla but huge disappointment. The place looks awesome but without acknowledging customers and lack of service quality it would be considered another mediocre food establishment. Even after the waiter and others staff members learned about the "miss understanding " no one approached me to apologize properly at all... some other 3rd individual brought my check at the end.... We visited this restaurant tonight for the first time. We live 1 mile away so I was hoping for good food and margaritas that I would return for. Unfortunately, the ambiance was totally for the work staff at 9:00 pm on Sunday night. The music was so loud you couldn't have a conversation and after asking nicely, they would not turn it down. The lights were on full power I presume for cleanup. I did not enjoy anything because I was so uncomfortable. I would recommend any other Mexican food place in this area. They're all good. read more
