There's so many businesses and this one in particular just seemed like it was very inviting. Upon entering the store it's filled with rich horror, culture, and metal music merchandise, which is super cool! They have interesting niche items here that you probably won't be able to find anywhere else. I picked up a few cool horror, movie magnets, and some spooky enamel pins. I grabbed the pins as gifts and I put the magnets on my fridge when I got home. The staff were very friendly, and if you have any questions, they will absolutely answer them for you, so that's helpful. And of course there's plenty of records in music to look through while you're there, you're bound to find a record you might want to take home. As far as the value goes, everything seemed fairly priced. Definitely a cool spot if you're into horror movies, and underground music! There are not too many places like this left here in San Diego.

Great quality and always a large selection. The bookstore has two floors, the first being all the electronics, clothes, makeup, etc, as the second floor has the books and textbooks (mostly for the students). The service is run by mostly students which they are friendly and easy to spot if you need any help. I really enjoy this place for a spot to hang around during gap times between my classes, always something new here. The value is decent, can be pricier side since it's school merch, but i the quality is great and it's worth it!

We were privileged to be sponsored and invited in to see this place, in order to visit my wife's friend while she was working the bar. This VFW post is very much like your traditional dive bar, at least to the uninitiated like us, but I'm sure it is much more meaningful to its members. There was a friendly comradery throughout, as everyone seemed to know each other, and enjoyed each other's company. They even treated us young dumb tourists from Portland with respect and kindness. Our drinks were strong, cheap, and came with several stories from a motley crew of characters. I felt honored and privileged to be amongst people who fought so hard for our country, and I wish all of them health and good fortune going forward.
