Umeboshi and pink guava were new to the store; I tried flavors that might not be new, but are new to me. The store associate helped us find items and explain things to us. I left with the pineapple balsamic and the cranberry pear balsamic. Others I liked were the champagne vinegar and the mango balsamic and the grapefruit balsamic. I didn't like the key lime. The lemongrass mint was interesting, but very strong on the mint. Overall it was fun to see what they have and try new ones. I still left with only my favorites. I still have plenty of olive oil so I didn't buy any of those, but I did try the spicy Calabrian pesto oil. Oh- they have ice cream samples if you wanna try the balsamic on ice cream!

Although Mount Dora can be a fun destination on its own, we spent a good amount of time in this store. Sampling is permitted and is necessary if taste matters to your palate. Another key to success is using the laminated pairing card that OOC provides. Once we found an olive oil we were particular towards, we used the chart to narrow down the balsamic vinegars. The balsamic vinegars on their own were quite tasty! However, we had to stick to our original goal and figure out the pairing. We eventually chose the Lime olive oil and Blackberry Ginger balsamic and the Garlic Olive oil and Neapolitan Herb balsamic. We also purchased the silicone pour caps that are reusable and easily cleaned in the dishwasher (we were told). The employees were very helpful in their assistance and recommendations and suggestions. We found out from them that the infused oils are imported from Chile and balsamic vinegars are imported from Italy. If enough is purchased during a trip and you're a part of their rewards program, you can get free stuff. On this visit, we crossed a threshold and received a free small bottle of balsamic vinegar, of our choice from the selection available for this reward. Reviews at home since implementing the simplifies salad dressing options have been very positive. One taster said, "mind blown." Our mission has been accomplished. If you ever have some time in Mount Dora, definitely stop in here and give your taste buds something different.

My daughter and son-in-law enjoyed CYO pasta bowls, my grandson had a kids meal from the BBQ joint, and I opted for Lebanese food. The market offers inside seating and the portions match the price point. The pasta eaters had Alfredo creations, one with fettuccine and the other with rigatoni. A grilled cheese and side of Mac and cheese was ordered at the BBQ spot for my grandson, and I opted for a chicken tawook platter with hummus and rice from Beirut Bites. The 2 chicken skewers were well flavored and the hummus was fantastic, but the pita slices and rice were average. The customer service was excellent. The pasta peeps very much enjoyed their creations and the grilled cheese was enjoyed. Unfortunately, little man couldn't eat the Mac and cheese because it was flavored with peppers and had some kick. For an adult, it was tasty. All in all, this was a great spot for lunch. We filled our bellies and departed with leftovers.

Came here one day during a planned day out in Mt. Dora. A quaint little town northwest of Orlando…read more There's shopping, some nice little restaurants, and a big ol' lake that you can rent a catboat on and drive it around. That's what we did that morning. Ambiance was great. It felt like each little dining area was a different room in a big, semi-haunted mansion. Eclectic books and paintings and mirrors and other baubles adorned much of the walls, making for plenty of looking around time during you meal. Very fun. Service was really good. The pacing of the meal was great, and our server was very friendly. We were always with drink, and she knew the menu backwards and forwards, even the special dishes of the night. As for the food, we went whole hog with two apps, two mains, and a dessert to share. Out of everything we ordered, only one of them remains on the current menu, which is a great sign. I love a rotating, seasonal menu. It shows effort, and it definitely encourages return patronage. We started with the Ciabatta Board (toasted ciabatta, house butter made with sun dried tomato, roasted red pepper, parmesan, garlic, chive). This was nice. It was very sun dried tomato, so if you don't like them, don't get this. But very soft, toasty bread made this very lovely. We also got an escargot app which was very creamy and soup-like. The snails were complimented well by the spinach. And the whole thing came with a nice little breadstick. I saved some of the bread from the board for some sopping. Pro move. For our mains, we got a miso butter New York strip and some sort of Asian themed duck. For both mains, the proteins were cooked very very well, and the portion sizes were a good size compared to what I was expecting. Both sets of taters were good. The mash was very smooth and creamy, the roasted baby potatoes were cooked all the way through and were nice and naturally buttery. Both were served with a seasonal veg mix that was pretty ok. It rounded out the plate, but it won't change your world or anything. We finished off with one of the best slices of cheesecake I've ever had. Incredibly smooth with the perfect cheesecake density, the perfect amount of chocolate chips inside, and a nice little crust that added that little bit of texture that is needed from the crust. Overall, quite a meal! To survive in a small town with these prices and those quality ingredientes and that unique of a menu design is very impressive. I will certainly be back.

Our server was really nice, made good recommendations, and the food was paced absolutely perfectly. The food itself was the best part. Crazy unique menu items that promised a lot and delivered a lot. Cons: Not a single con. A great little visit. Tips: The menu has completely changed since we went, which is good, so I can't recommend any specific dishes. But the ones I see on the menu now look absolutely banging.
