I'm leaving a poor review based on an intake conversation I had with a very dismissive agent. I stated that I had three potential claims I would like to review. The agent was very curt with poor social skills. The first claim was not something the firm was interested in which I accept and assign no fault for. Because the first claim did not work out, the agent appeared to try to dismiss me from the conversation for the second two potential claims based on what appeared to be a presupposition regarding my value because the first claim did not work out. I persuaded the agent to remain in the conversation despite his curt dismissal, but the agent did not appear to listen to the subsequent requests because he had already decided he was going to dismiss me as a person completely. He made blanket statements and suggestions which were not true and were frankly rude, suggesting neither I nor another firm I was working with had done due diligence. Every statement he made after his initial dismissal was more aggravating than the first, making statements that were applicable to the first dismissed claim but had no applicability to potential subsequent claims. read more

When you have a dispute with a creditor, you are suddenly trying to reason with an enormous faceless, nameless, machine where the voices on the phone are more adept at bullying and stonewalling than anything reminiscent of actual customer service. Regardless of the issue, or the degree of fault the creditor has, unless you are proficient in the deep depths of consumer credit, and consumer protection, laws- you are likely fighting an exhaustive, losing, battle. Very poor communication except for their high pressure tactics to sign up after you're verified to qualify. Then, after waiting months to email for update... crickets. It appears this firm is all form letters to and from both plaintiff and litigate. And can get a few thousand dollar settlement with ease and little effort. Taking 1/3 as a fee, this is their sweet spot and not incentivized to proceed further. Had a Lemon that met all 3 qualifications in our state. This firm pressed us to take the monetary offer which, minimized their effort while maximizing its profit. I have no idea where these guys are successful because they emailed me a letter today from a suit I filed in August of 2018 and today they are telling me they were dropping my case and "good luck" in the future. When you first call, their representatives are extremely nice and make you believe you have a sure case on your hands. However; you hear nothing from them until the letter arrives they are dropping you with no reason explained. I asked repeatedly if I should be paying something during the interim and their answer was "we can not advise you to pay or not". Huh? I'm asking legal advice on a suit you filed and you can't advise me? You then drop my case with no explanation leaving me as clueless as I was from the beginning? I'm sure now interest has been tacked onto my original dispute costing me more. I'm now looking for another lawyer and would not recommend this company whatsoever. Communication is poor and surprise letters are not what I expect from a law firm priding themselves in winning and posting numerous YouTube videos claiming not to pay the full amount debt collectors ask since they pay pennies on the dollar for taking over a debt. I received a call from Lemberg today and they were still not helpful. He claimed there were several brokers they used to purchase information but he refused to give me any of the names. Again he advised me to just ignore the notice and throw it away. What lawyer would tell you to ignore information with your name and address attached to a car you never owned? Avoid this place. I saw the TV ads where they claimed they would help you if you'd been contacted more than twice a week by your mortgage lender. Wells Fargo had been hounding me as much as every day, leaving me voicemails. They asked if the voicemails were a person or a recording. I said a person left the message (a different person every time). They told me they couldn't help me. I ended up filing a complaint with the State of Maine about Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo sold my loan to another company. Very happy so far with them. read more

A very aggressive unscrupulous law firm based in LI sent a man to my door at 7pm who asked my name and when I said who I was he handed me a summons. I was beside myself. What a joke. I sent a list of phone numbers to one of their paralegals after requesting a free consultation online. He informs me that they're untraceable and that they can't assist me. It took about 10 minutes to trace the numbers back to two of the most notorious zombie debt collectors, both of which Lemberg claims to have experience suing. That's ok, I had already completed the small claims paperwork. You won't collect any more than $1000 anyway. Just do it yourself. The scammers won't show up, and you'll have a default judgment in your favor, as well as a court order to stop calling. read more

Read MANY reviews about this company and decided to give it a try. I contacted Lemberg Law to discuss my vehicle, of which I assume is a lemon. I spoke with Tim Minor on the phone for a bit and he was very pleasant. He asked to see all the paperwork I had for repairs I had done on my vehicle. I sent them, we emailed back and forth for a bit, and I haven't heard from him since. I emailed him on two different days earlier this week and no response. Unsure if this is typical for him and this company, but it did not give me a good impression and it is completely unprofessional. I was happy with this firm until it was time for them to send me my check. They called me on a Thursday to verify my mailing address. A week later I still hadn't received the check. Then a week later they tell me it was mailed today a week later. They call me to tell me it was being mailed then held it for a week. I still haven't received it. I recently contacted them and was told that they could npt help me bc i had an account with the bill collector that was harassing me?! I think 9 out of 10 people that are harassed by a bill collector have an account with them. Bill collectors dont usually randomly select peoe to start annoying by calling 20 times a day. Their website is misleading, never once said anything along the lines of we can not help you if you ha e an account with the bill collector that is harassing you. So if that is your situation, do not send in your information. Unless you need somebody else having your phone number and email. Waste of time. Misleading client and mismanaging settlement funds. Sent me a check only to find out the day of, there was a stop payment on check. New check was sent out, only to be 1,000 dollars short. No one from Lemberg Law has called to explain the difference. Attorney Alex said he would call me, but he went on vacation and left it for someone else to handle. Very unprofessional. I sent them a message asking what's going on. They do not keep you informed of what's going on and they waste your time! I wish there was a way to give them negative stars!
