I somehow had the luck, while being down on my luck, of stumbling upon Attorney Max Rosenberg when I needed to file for bankruptcy... and not only did I find a more than incredibly capable lawyer, I found one with an awesome sense of humor who, over two years later, I can call with a quick question, and he remembers who I am, makes me laugh (and vice versa) -- as I put it "you make even the painful somehow hurt less") -- and always has a kind word. He is one of those people who does not talk down to you, despite knowing far more than you could ever hope to, and if, like me, you do know a thing or two about the law, doesn't act like you are an idiot "armchair lawyer" who could not possibly know a thing about the law and will happily move on to the parts you do need help with. Time is money, as they say - and he doesn't waste his - or yours - so he can spend said time (and your money) doing a thorough job. I would be remiss to say anything but great things about Ossi, who is his right-hand woman, and always wonderful to speak with, on the ball with everything you need, sends timely correspondence and follow-ups, and makes sure you are doing all you need to do by the deadlines. A perfect partnership. I cannot recommend an attorney more dedicated to his clients -- even when they are no longer actively his clients, with a steel cage of a memory, no ego, and who, in my opinion (as someone who reads law books like others read fiction -- for fun) is the definition of what someone who stands up for the law should be. Most highly recommended. I would give him six stars if I could. He will always steer you properly and is a name who can be trusted. Plus, after talking with him, you don't feel like you need a hot shower because some slimy lounge lizard was trying to take your cash and not even listening to you -- quite the opposite. You know he was listening to you, he remembered all the details, he will remember you years later, and actually cares about the people he speaks with and works with. Better Call Max. After a divorce and tough financial situation, I was forced to declare bankruptcy. Although I was extremely nervous and Horrified about the whole Bankruptcy Proceedings, The staff at Rosenberg and Press were outstanding, understanding and extremely professional. Before I went to Max,I saw another Bankruptcy Lawyer in town(Stratford) and He charged me a hefty consultation fee and then told me that I wasn't qualified to go bankrupt. Max looked over my debt and other problems and told me I was absolutely qualified and he would absolutely help me, which made me feel really relieved! I have to say From the Receptionist and Legal assistants to the Lawyers they were just great. My initial consultation, my next visit and my court case went very smoothly. I watched about 7 cases before mine and everyone seemed to last longer than the next. In my opinion Max was very well prepared which made the Court official very Happy as the rest of the Lawyers that day were not prepared. We were going through a really tough time, bills were piling up and we fell behind on our mortgage. Didn't know where to turn, so we checked out another site which rated lawyers and found Rosenberg and Press. We lived on the other side of the state, but after reading some of the glowing reviews and researching their lawyers, we decided to contact them. I actually called on a Saturday, and an attorney actually answered my call and looking back, that was one of the best phone calls I've ever made! We met with Max and he actually extended our session with him so he could fully understand the situation.
