I gave them a 2 because they did come when they were supposed to but they knocked over the bin and left 4 pieces of litter in the street. The bin was positioned appropriately at the edge of the lawn and was not overloaded. I shouldn't have to pick up litter after them. read more

Easy process to get rid of your extra recycling instead of heading to the one at the dump. Only disadvantage is that sometimes you can be blocked in by one of their trucks. read more

Mostly, my grip is that LeMay Garbage trucks, and their semi's feel the need of always using the left lane, and forcing you to pass them on the right! Plus they have a monopoly on garbage pick up, so if you want you're garbage picked up- you have to use LeMay in this area. The customer service at their office is pretty friendly and prompt, and the rates- even though they have a monopoly is somewhat reasonable. Overall, I dont think I would use them if I had a choice, only other choice is to go to a business and illegally dump your garbage there lol, which I wouldnt advise, or some stuff can be burned I suppose. They do a decent job though at picking up the Garbage, our pick up date is on Tuesdays, and recycle every other Tuesday, generally the garbage man gets here around 2pm or so, and the recycling truck is earlier, usually around 9am. read more

I wish i could review a 0 star. Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever experienced across any line of business that i deal with. Backstory is that we have a 1 yard container from Lemay due to the length of our driveway to the road, we pay extra for this service and they enter using our personal gate code to pick up the trash within our yard. There have been multiple occasions where they completely disregard the customer experience across all levels. They don't call if there is going to be any sort of change in the day they pick up, it takes us calling the day of after the scheduled pick up time, waiting on hold for a while, possibly being hung up on, or leaving a message and hoping they call back only to be told "oh we moved your pick up to tomorrow". Some of these times we have specifically changed our schedule to be at the house or have someone at the house (to keep our dogs corralled before letting them out after the trash truck has left) in order to be told "oh something came up and we cant pick up today, we will pick up tomorrow". They have zero empathy on the impact of their customer when they change the day they pick up and treat their customer like they don't matter. If they were on the receiving end of this treatment you know they would be just as angry as their customers. If they did not hold the contract with the entire city of Lakewood, i would change services in the heartbeat! Something needs to be done about this. read more

I am very disappointed in your customer service representative Jane. Today was the second time that my garbage was not picked up. My neighbor was outside and watched the driver pick up his trash can and not ours, I also have cameras that show my can was not picked. When I called to find out why my can was not picked up, I was basically called a liar by Jane. I guess your GPS system does not account for human error. I am in a neighborhood and the houses are close together so the GPS is going to show that he was there. All I would expect is an apology and then pick up more trash next week. I certainly don't need to be treated like I am putting extra trash out after you have already picked it up. Horrible service! read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE; Careless Driver dropped recycling bin into truck and reported it. I come home from work and find bin missing. I called next morning and found out the driver reported it, but nothing more done. They proceeded to tell me the soonest they could deliver me a replacement is ("5-7 days") Tuesday, when it happened on Thursday. They should have replaced the same day or the next day at the latest. I should not have to be put on the bottom of the list when it's their fault. This is not the first time I've had issues; Driver slammed the garbage bin on the ground a month ago and broke the wheels off. I come home to find it won't roll back up the driveway. Also don't bother to call on your lunch break at work, you'll probably be on hold for over 30 minutes. Bottom line they have a monopoly on the service and we're stuck with their poor customer service and frankly don't care attitude. When the customer service representative discussed the issue with a supervisor they still would not even try to get a new recycling bin to me. Now I have to pile up all the recyclables from Christmas Weekend and deal with it next week. I bet if I was a new customer I'd get bins quicker. read more

If this company did not have such a monopoly on waste management in our area, I would drop my services in a heartbeat. Even though I have my payments on automatic withdrawal, EVERY. SINGLE. PAY PERIOD I get a call or a slip of paper in my trash can saying I need to call and pay to avoid my services being interrupted. At this point it's bordering harassment. According to my payment history, ALL MY PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED. I'll continue, reluctantly, handing over my money to your ill ran company, while I continue my search for a new one. Claiming our bin was overfilled, when it is not, they failed to collect our recycling and want us to pay for them to comeback and do their job. Even if our bin had been overfilled, it would just prove we recycle properly and REALLY need them to pick up on schedule.This means that for the next 2 weeks, our recycling has to go in our trash. That negative impact on the environment is on them. They don't care about the environment,they just want money. Screw them! read more
