This has never been the case anywhere else I have gone for pedicures- I was shocked by her comments and didn't appreciate being spoken to in this manner, most especially in front of other customers. Secondly, I was not allowed to use a Spa 27 gift card, since my appointment was booked on line with my credit card. Receptionist was rude and not willing to help with this. Unfortunately, my visit to Spa 27 was unpleasant. I will not recommend nor will I return.

Carla & her associate came to our home with massage tables, heating pads and even gifted us masks. I was impressed with the questions she asked us prior to our appointment, she was taking precautions and clearly was COVID conscious. As two people who have been pretty isolated and cautious since March, we felt safe and comforted by Carla's precaution and communication. My boyfriend wants to add to this review: The massage therapists were patient and put a lot of effort into it and knew what they were doing. We will both book with Carla again!

My body felt incredibly relaxed. While the service was outstanding, I will say it was very difficult to find her business. She actually operates out of a two story house in a quiet residential neighborhood that's morphing into commercial lots situated behind bustling Main Street. She shares the space with a hair salon. When booking the appointment, it would have been helpful for the secretary/ person answering to give that heads up since I had explained I was from out of state. Other than that, the massage was one of the best I've ever gotten.

I contacted sally for a buccal massage since I was experiencing TMJ symptoms the last few days and…read moreshe advertised that she also does this technique (because her father was an orthodontist). She is lovely and I'm sure her regular messages are great, but I wouldn't use her for a buccal massage, as she only spent about 10 min in my mouth and lightly massaged my jaw and head. She wanted to massage my toes (because they are linked to the mouth) but I was hoping for some relief in my jaw and unfortunately recieved mostly a traditional massage. She came to the house, but For $300 I figured I was paying a premium for a speciality massage, so I was a little disappointed.

What followed is the worst and most dangerous masssage I have ever had which has left me with severe back pain At first I thought she was simply a terrible masseuse and I was trying to grin and bear it. Her hands were dry and she was in effect giving me Chinese burns on my ankles and feet. I was with my daughter and did not want to complain and ruin my daughter's experience. It became apparent that Sally was determined to hurt my lower back- she kept pulling my legs out to the side at 45 degree angles, then finished off, when I was lying on my front, with a sudden upwards and backwards jerk of each leg. As Sally is experienced and gets great reviews, she cannot normally be giving this kind of deeply unpleasant and dangerous massage . I have no idea why she chose to treat me like this. She is a dangerous therapist. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy
