I sent in a request for a quote the night before, via email. I called into the office the next morning, and the person who answered was very helpful and professional. They explained the pricing with details, which made it easy for me to choose what I wanted. The technicians showed up a few minutes early to the morning appointment, and unfortunately my phone ringer volume was off. I missed multiple attempts they made to try and reach me, and when I woke I went immediately outside to find one of the technicians digging. He explained that he reached out to the office and was told to go ahead with the work, which I was extremely thankful for. I apologized for not answering, and the technician was very understanding and professional. I called the office after speaking with him, and the office person thanked me for calling in and was also very polite/understanding. The task of pumping my septic tank was completed quickly, with no mess, and the dirt was replaced on top of the tank. It looked great, and will be easy for the grass to regrow over the tank. More importantly, the toilets were able to flush again. It's been 2 weeks since the tank was pumped and I have had no issues. I already recommended this company to my brother and will recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy, professional company to resolve their septic problems.

There are only three people in the house. I went out and started to investigate to find out that the company only pumped the drain field side of the tank, not both sides. I explained to her that firstly the pumped only one side of the tank, and secondly, the side of the tank that should have been pumped had never been uncovered and was still sealed with cement. I uncovered the second lid to show her. She then called the company who said it was her responsibility to inform the worker to clean both sides and that would cost more money! So, the lessons learned here are: if you have a septic, make sure BOTH lids are taken off and cleaned out. Also, get a firm price to pump both sides without a per gallon charge. Anyone posting a positive review about this company probably doesn't have a clue about the process and just keeps paying them! Do Not Use Moon Septic Service !!!!!…read more I decided to have my Septic Pumped after 2 years. I called Moon Septic to do the work, I was given a price of 330.00 on a credit card or 300.00 cash. I chose cash, and made an appointment. The tech showed up on time, and opened the tank, he said that it was full, which I think is usually the case. He said that because of all the tank was full he would have to charge an extra 20 to 30 dollars. I said I never heard of that, and have had in emptied many times before. Anyway, he said he got chewed out by the boss for not charging, he charged now. He said he would see how much was pumped. Anyway, he pumped it out, he did mention that there was a coat of grease on the top of the water, and I said I thought that I was careful, but would try to do even better. The receipt just showed the price of 330.00, but did not show the amount pumped. I kept on thinking about the extra charge, because the receipt showed nothing about extra amount pumped, so decided to call the office. I was called back by the guy that is in charge of the fleet. I told him my concern, and at first he sounded ok, then all of a sudden in mid sentence he started to berate me, the customer. I told him the only thing I was looking for was the 30.00 extra charge refunded. He first said he would bring all my sewerage back and refund my money, I said, how could you possible do that, I don't want that. I just want to pay what I was quoted. Then he said that there were non flushable wipes in there and it messed up the truck and they had to clean it for 4 hours. There was no wipes, any used go in the trash weekly, and I saw what was pumped, there were none, and the tech said nothing about them. So then this guy said he would give me the 30.00 and then charge me for cleaning his truck. That is totally bogus. I tried to refute what he was saying and said that I was not letting him talk and did not cooperate and basicly hung up on me. I would never have Moon Septic do any work for me, Do Not Trust any quote they may give, and God forbid that you have an issue. Professionalism does not exist at there operation. The management is rude and very uncooperative. The only interest they have is taking money. Do Not Use Them, Beware. It is an awful company.
