Best steak caesar salad in Lafayette. I ordered one on Waitr and got $5 off using code Local5!

They even had Parish Brewing's Ghost in the Machine for only six bucks, which was a nice surprise. There are two pool tables, and it's $1.25 per game. Overall, we had a great time - friendly service and affordable drinks.

I usually love Marley's, but the service we experienced tonight was just not okay. I came with a…read moregroup and they expressed one of our friends couldn't come in due to a dress code issue. Which was fine, just a little skeptical because they have let him in with the same outfit on a previous occasion. We were fine with leaving, there were severe weather warnings and rain outside. Therefor, we asked if we could just stand inside while waiting for our uber to arrive which the man at the front door agreed was fine, and the lady at the front desk also agreed was fine as long as we didn't block the desk. The owner of Marley's proceeds to tell us that we cannot stand there and kicks us out of the bar. The owner did not even speak to us directly. He told the same woman that said we could stand out of the rain to tell us that we need to leave. Leaving us to stand outside in the cold and rain under an extreme cold warning. Lack of human decency is inexcusable.

My friend and I had a wonderful dinner and a nice visit. The service was excellent. The overhang could be larger, it was raining really hard and a lot that night. Of all the places to come to for Mardi Gras, I picked this place…read more When I was in college, this was THE place to be. Great music, good greasy food and a fun atmosphere. 30 years later, I felt like I had entered a nightmare...minus my teeth falling out. First of all, there was a line to get in. It WAS Mardi-Gras, after all. But, there were only 6 or 7 people ahead of me. They were only letting people in as people were leaving and from what I could hear of the door man's conversation, the rest room was to the right. Literally everyone in front of me lined up only to use the bathroom. It's true! I saw the same people coming back out that had already been let in. Holy crap, Batman! I might be in the wrong line! So I finally asked the doorman if I was in the correct line but he was so robotic and only asked me for my id then there was a girl who unhooked a rope at the door opening. I went inside. I was so shocked to find virtually no one in the place. Okay...there were maybe 10 people sitting at the bar and dining tables COMBINED. in addition. I could only see two people behind the bar and I had previously noticed the outside walk up window had been painted shut years before. I got the courage to ask one of the patrons drinking a daiquiri(?) from a pitcher sized pail. He looked back at me and said they had had a visit from the fire department and were told the had to curb their customers from going inside because of the lack of bar tenders and waitstaff. So they stopped cooking food and were only serving mostly melted drinks because of the lack of help. Oh. I completely forgot the lack of AC that night!
