We paid for 13 people to have 1 1/2 hours of unlimited game time, but no one mentioned that what felt like half the games were out of order. The games that weren't working included Circus Ball Drop, one of the three Skee-Ball lanes, Milk Jug Toss (it stopped halfway through), one of the two basketball games, Real Hero Fire Rescue, Maze Escape (wouldn't dispense balls), Eiffel Tower (constantly jammed), Moo Moo, Trophy Truck, Air Hockey, and the Photo Booth. It was incredibly frustrating to pay full price when so many attractions were unusable. Later, two employees did come around and restart several of the games, and they were very kind, so I do appreciate their effort. Unfortunately, by then the experience had already been disappointing. To make matters worse, my husband ordered a brookie and a cookie cake, and the cookie cake arrived completely burnt. I honestly couldn't believe someone looked at it, served it to our table, and walked away. It should have never left the kitchen. The most concerning part of our visit, though, was that a man who appeared to be intoxicated came in alone. He didn't have any children with him, didn't buy food or a game card, ordered a beer, and sat next to the jump house where my kids were playing. He began asking me where I was from while watching the children jump. It made my family and other parents visibly uncomfortable, and I don't understand why that situation wasn't addressed. Overall, this location was poorly maintained, the food quality was unacceptable, and the environment didn't feel like a safe or enjoyable place for families. We won't be returning.

So for that reason I won't be reviewing this location against others, but just for the experiences we've had here. I have only visited Chuck E Cheese's for birthday parties and they really make the experience enjoyable. We held my daughter's birthday party here a few months ago and I was very impressed with the staff. They had a power outage early in the morning due to a storm which set them back, causing some delays in our party. They truly did everything they could to make it right. The staff does a fantastic job of keeping the energy level high. They are great with the kids and really take control of the party so that there is very little the host has to worry about. I have found that 10am birthday parties there are perfect! The restaurant is not yet crowded which makes it much less chaotic. What I'm not fond of: the music/videos are SO loud. I don't really understand why they have to keep it so loud. I fully believe everyone could hear them if they were a bit softer and maybe I wouldn't have to spend 2 hours yelling just to have conversations with others. What I like: they have switched from coin operated machines to card operated. So you get a card to scan instead of dirty coins. The down side, the kids have a high possibility of losing their cards if an adult is not by their side. I really think the pizza is pretty decent. It's not New York pizza shop quality by any means, but it doesn't seem like cheap/non-fresh ingredients which is what I would have expected. And again, I can't say enough about how great the staff is at this location. If you are looking for a great and easy birthday party for your child, I highly recommend having it here (especially at the 10am time slot).
