This was my first time getting food here, and it was amaaazing! Probably the best wings I've ever had. We got Honey Garlic, Maple BBQ, and Dill Pickle. HG was my favorite. I also don't usually love dry wings, which can be dried out and bland, but these were really good! Very flavorful and juicy and a good size. Though there are a few bar stools along the window of this small Wing place, I'd definitely recommend ordering to go. Let's dive right in to the food though! The wings are just as they shout them to be! Very high quality! Lots of meat come on these large wings with the perfect amount of breading as well! The two times I have gone, I have gotten the hottest wings they offer. I can't recall if it's sweatin' bullets or prairie fire. One of those flavours is no longer available though and I always forget which one is still available. Now there of coarse is a catch 22 that comes with these fabulous wings. They are a bit pricey, which to be honest isn't too bad if you love your wings... which I very much do! My one gripe though is that there isn't much flexibility in their orders. They charge extra for your wings to be sloppy, and the two times I've gone I have been fairly satisfied with the normal amount of sauce they put on. The wings are fully covered which is great but if you want them to have lots of sauce it will cost a bit more, within reason though I believe. They wouldn't allow me to double dip (two flavours mixed together), they don't allow you to do half and half (two flavours in a box - not mixed) unless you get 3 pounds of wings, and if you only want half a pound of wings (which is more than plenty for my wife) but no fries you still have to pay the full price. The food is great I just wish they were more flexible with their menu. Overall I'd recommend to the wing connoisseur for sure! read more

Wings are great. But having just a shit ton of wings isn't as cool as you think it is

I chose to make this account and post my first review because it was so necessary! Last night I ordered wings from the "wing king" which, well they were good, not amazing, but good. My problem is the horrible cash grab. I understand delivery is always a bit pricey, and I don't have a huge problem with the $5.50 charge on a $17 dollar order, and I don't mind the tip request on the machine, but what got me was the $2.00 charge just to USE THE CARD! What am I paying for in the delivery fee then? At least let the customer know when they place the order about all the extra charges they expect at the door. I paid because I was very hungry but it's kind of slimy when you expect a total of $21 but end up paying $26. read more

20170822 After moved to the City of Lethbridge, our first lunch was at The Legendary Wing King.  The Legendary Wing King is a super small store, sells Chicken Wings and some other snacks, which is located on Mayor Magrath Dr. Lethbridge. The store is very small, so I highly suggest people order the food and take to go. The environment is very cute and clean. You can read the menu on the wall. The servers are friendly and helpful.  This place is famous for its Chicken Wings. Their chicken wings are very fresh. There are two different types of wings wet and dry with lots of flavours. In addition, you can also get some sides with the wings, such as sweet potato fries, 3 cheese perogies, chili garlic tater bites, nacho cheese stix, and etc.  Besides that, this place also sells a different kind of ICE Creams. We went to The Legendary Wing King around lunch time.   We've ordered 1 pound each Honey Garlic and Sweet Chili Heat wet chicken wings. The Chicken Wings came 20mins after the ordered. The Honey Garlic wings taste as normal but fresh. The Sweet Chili Heat wings are super awesome. They tasted a little bit sweet and spicy. I love the sweet chili heat flavour so much. The prices of wings are a little bit expensive: 1/2 pound $8.99 with fries, 1 pound $12.99 add fries for $1.89, 1.5 pounds $17.99  .... The more you buy, the cheap prices that you can get. If you come and visit the City of Lethbridge, you should definitely go having some chicken wings at The Legendary Wing King. read more

I freaking love these wings. They're big, very fresh (you can tell by the colour of the meat & bones), well trimmed (no ugly big gross chunks of loose skin), tons of flavours, and well priced. If you get them get the 1 pound box - it's a perfect size for a meal. I've had the wings nearly a dozen times and will keep eating them.... read more

I feel a quite disappointed if I'm honest. I have heard nothing but good things about Legendary Wing King but my experience today was very sub-par. The lady at the front desk was very kind which was just about the only great thing about my experience... But let's get to the food. The price point is higher than most wings in town, however, I didn't have a problem with the price as I was expecting the highly acclaimed experience I had heard of. This was further reinforced by the signs advertising that the wings are never frozen, which is great! Yet, the wings were too heavily breaded which took away from the chicken flavour and made the wings quite heavy. The wings were also over-sauced which added to the heaviness and made them goopy. I also found the "hot" sauce far sweeter than they were hot. Overall, the wings made me feel quite gross and I feel pretty let down by a place that specializes in wings. 2/5 stars. read more
