Most places in Byron Bay close quite early for dinner. This place stays open at late into the night when other restaurants close at eight. There are many different pizza options to choose from, about twenty different options as well as plenty of drink options. I chose the meaty pizza, which comes with sausage, ham, mushroom, and bell pepper. The sizes are small, medium, large, and giant. The small is not even the size of my hand. In American size, the medium is more like a small, the large is more like a medium, and the giant a large. Given the size, it's pretty pricey for a pizza. I ordered the medium pizza, which was a perfect size for me. The pizza took about fifteen minutes to come out and it was hot and delicious. They have a big table and two small tables inside, which would seat maybe 20 people. There are three tables outside as well. read more

Yeah it's just okay as I have had much better pizza before. The prices for their pizzas are not cheap either. Lunch special brings it down to $10 but normally it's $14 for only a medium which to be honest should be a small. I had the BBQ Chicken which was good for lunch although at any other time I would be disappointed. If you have another choice I would recommend the kebab restaurant just down the street, better food for better value in my opinion. read more

I've been coming to byron bay for years and have lived here now for almost a year. I regularly get pizza from these guys because they're local and the quality and freshness is on point. The coffee isn't amazing but it's passable in the morning and on the cheaper side for Byron bay. Awesome staff always polite and considerate. read more

Had pizza there before and it was delicious. Last night was served by a guy who obviously did not want to be there, had poor customer service skills and was served up a ridiculously overcooked pizza. Really should have asked for a refund, it was that bad. Plus the fact that you're allowed to smoke in the eating section right outside was another negative. Burnt cracked cheese on an overcooked pizza with cigarette smoke wafting in your face...disgusting. Can't believe I talked this place up to my boyfriend beforehand. I tried to buy a slice, they had a ten dollar credit card minimum. No problem, I gladly bought a second. Then I went to put pepper and Parmesan on my pizza, but there was no more cheese. When I asked them if they had more, they both looked at me and said "hey bro, if there's no more there, then we ran out"... what kind of pizza joint runs out of Parmesan cheese? Obvious they just didn't care, then I went to eat the pizza and was even more pissed when it was horrible. weak pizza + HORRIBLE EFFORT = 2 stars... from someone who only writes reviews for exceptional spots or awful spots. As a traveling ex chef I try and search out the hidden local gems. Legend pizza is byron'a pizza spot for sure. Possibly the best pizza I've had in Australia. The value or dollar was exceptional, especially the ten buck lunch special. Great guys making great pizza. Good for the famous or late night after beers. Great job! read more
