UPDATED REVIEW 2026: Between 2023 and 2026, Superior HVAC and Tank Removal performed service on our…read moreHVAC system (that they originally installed) at least 5 separate times. These visits were all related to the same issue - the system did not function properly to maintain the desired air temperature, particularly in the summer months. As the HVAC system installed was still malfunctioning, and we learned that the warranty was held by Bosch and did not require us to use our original installer, in May 2026 we decided to call another company we located due to their familiarity with Bosch systems to come look at the system. This new company was so appalled by the mess of the state of the wiring of the system and our prior experiences trying to have this issue resolved through Superior HVAC and Tank Removal that they did not bill us for their initial diagnostic visits. This new team immediately determined that the main power board on the inverter was fried and ordered a replacement part, which they recently installed. The system has been working perfectly ever since. What we're left wondering is why it took another company 45 minutes to immediately diagnose and correct (what seemed to them to be) a clear malfunctioning part in our Bosch inverter, when Superior HVAC and Tank Removal not only installed the system, but then also visited our property no fewer than 5 times (and we have been billed for 4/5 of those visits) and and failed to diagnose nor fix the correct issue? We do not wish to continue business with Superior HVAC and Tank Removal in the future given these experiences.

It seems like I am the contrary to the last two reviews written about these guys…read more I have to say that my experience was extremely pleasant from start to finish. First was the call with Rick who booked and estimate with me right away and was right on time which is always excellent in my book and a good sign of how they do business. Although our job was probably not as nearly complicated as some of the other work they probably get, Rick was extremely professional in assessing the nature of the job and the quote we received was beyond reasonable. For about 180 dollars we go our outdoor automatic light fixed and they were even nice enough to include some free LED bulbs for us and the two guys that Rick had sent over were quick but most important thorough with the job. I am a very satisfied home owner with a good electrician. Thanks Hantsch.

Buyer Beware: Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Unreliable…read more We had a very troubling experience with John Kulk of Kulk's Plumbing and his employees. After diagnosing an issue as a contractor error, John Kulk later changed his story to the contractor, claiming it was our fault, which caused significant confusion and delays. John Kulk then suggested we file a claim with our homeowners insurance to correct the negligence of the contractor. The next day, the contractor stated in writing that he had "conferred" with John Kulk and repeated the same question, "perhaps that could go through your homeowners' insurance??" During the service, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. John Kulk said he can't find qualified workers and complained his employees frequently argue in front of customers. We previously had to ban John Kulk's employees from our home due to their unprofessional behavior. We also faced major reliability issues; snow removal was promised but denied immediately when the first snow storm arrived. Given the overpricing and lack of professional conduct, the quality of service here has significantly declined. We do not feel comfortable having John Kulk's Plumbing in our home again. I agreed to the quote (thats on me) without understanding the scope of the job. Trav and an intern were done with the pipe replacement in 50 minutes. The carpenter spent all of 2 1/2 hours and there were maybe $200 worth of materials between the two of them. I confronted Trav with the amount that was charged given the amount of time and materials it took to complete the job. I got some song and dance about what hypothetically could have happened but ultimately didn't. No one likes to be overcharged or taken advantage of. I can only hope the work was done properly. I won't use this plumbing company again.

We found David Cordova to be about as wonderful as they come. He's extremely professional,…read morehardworking, knowledgeable, pleasant and honest. He braved a snow storm on a Saturday afternoon and evening to help us with an emergency situation with heating pipes and didn't complain once about the less-than-pleasant work conditions (he had to trudge up and down our long, steep driveway each time he needed equipment and carry out quite a few large, heavy buckets of water) or the fact that he would have to drive through dangerous road conditions to get to his next job / home, after. Prices are fair and straightforward. There were no hidden or undisclosed fees. Highly, highly recommend.
