REVIEW FOR YELP DREAM DESIGN…read more The Dream Design Construction Team was Awesome! We wanted to remove the wall between the dinning room and kitchen to open up the space. We researched many, and obtained quotes from three contractors, one less expensive and one more expensive. Luckily, we decided on Dream Design Construction. Design We had a specific (non-conventional) design in mind, i.e. not the typical big island layout. Additionally, we wanted to add a full bath, a custom pantry, barn doors, and new kitchen windows, flooring etc. We stopped by Dream Design Construction and Yong engineered the design we envisioned that day! Allowing us to see it in 3D. He included things we had not thought of like a pot filler, and coffee bar area. The customized outcome is beautiful. Yong came out and took measurements to finalized the design plan. The Design becomes the Blue Print - - Note: Make sure when you sign the contract that you Know which cabinets will have drawers/ no drawers, pull outs, glass doors etc. or a change order may be required. Contract Their contract was very straight forward which helped us to sign quickly. It stated the price and allowances, installation, demo etc. Yong stated his goal is to ensure 100% customer satisfaction, and he honorably did so. Demo After emptying and packing up the kitchen - Demo was quick! The Team put up plastic zipper walls to cordon off the family room, foyer etc. to limit the amount of dust in other rooms, as well as covering vents. The wall between the dining room and kitchen came down! Mr. Nam was great . The team was here by 8 each day and made sure everything was put away each day and left it as tidy as possible. Construction The build out began and the first inspection was passed. I believe Mr. Nam was key to the success - following Yong Yi's drawing/plans Jose did a great job painting, especially the stove hood/vent - just beautiful. Tile Work is extremely beautiful both kitchen and bathroom. Mr. Nam worked hard in so many areas, requesting input for location of cabinet hardware and providing guidance for light switch locations etc. Mr. Lee framed the windows beautifully, and thankfully Bruce encouraged me to include multiple pendant chandeliers which look absolutely beautiful. Mr. Yong was Very easy to work with and assigned Mr. Kim to perform all the "Finishes" ensuring a perfect result. Final Walk thru/Result Inspection #2 The final walk-through and Inspection were flawless with 100% satisfaction! Just when you are tired of construction...you're done! The remodel was completed AHEAD of schedule, including our last-minute alternatives. BOTTOM LINE: EVERYTHING turned out impeccably beautiful! Dream Design was very accommodating with change items that did not affect the Design footprint-like adding an outlet and moldings for wine fridge, as well as barn doors. They were just so easy to work with.

2nd project with Lewis Cabinetry! First we had a desk area built and for this 2nd project we had…read moreour old cherry kitchen cabinets painted, and soft close hinges put on all doors and drawers. We also had custom feet and endcaps made and a custom vent cover which will soon have a piece of brass added to the bottom. You absolutely can Not tell these cabinets were not factory painted. They are silky smooth and they didn't miss a single area. Worth every penny and so much cheaper than replacing everything which I simply could not afford. I love the color which is Benjamin Moore Sterling (lightened by 25%) At the last minute I was going to change my paint color and Danielle called me just to suggest that I experiment with a larger paint sample and to discuss the nuances of various grays with me. Thank goodness she called because a larger sample revealed a lot more blue and I would have been very disappointed. After our desk was build and painted I took a door to a local kitchen franchise to price check before I did the entire kitchen. They told me they could Not promise the same results because they didn't believe the door I brought them had been painted in shop and must have been factory ordered and I had been misled to believe it had been painted! Outrageous! So I went right back to Lewis Cabinetry! My husband fretted the entire time, unsure they would really look as good as our newly build desk area but he is a total believer now! I had my kitchen cabinets refaced, a bar area upgraded with carpentry/painting and bathroom cabinets refinished and painted. Drawers were redone to support heavy weights of silverware and and cabinet doors to close automatically. He has a range of products and prices for every taste and pocketbook but the work itself and quality of everything used is uniformly top of the line. Before I knew about Lewis Cabinets, I had actually had an estimate from one of the big box stores. Thank goodness I checked out Lewis before deciding. It was a whole different level of craftsmanship and attention to detail...not to mention personalized design and service..... at a comparable price. Joel and Danielle are great communicators too. They excel at explaining issues and options that require decisions and provide excellent recommendations. They are open to designing things the way YOU want it. Finally Joel scheduled a day at the end to go over the whole project and inspect it with me.
