For example, I saw a listing for my current apartment on a Thursday, made an appointment to see it the next day, and had a signed lease within the week. When I contact them with a question or concern (which is rare), they've always responded immediately and given me a solid answer. I pay my rent online, no one has entered my apartment without me knowing it, and I don't see anyone who maintains the property (in a good way). As an even better example of why I like these guys, I was commuting from New Jersey to Ardmore every day before I got my apartment out here. Because my lease start date of July 1st started in the middle of a week, they let me get the keys to my apartment and start moving in a few days before, and without charging me for the extra days. Talk about frustrating conditions and poor communication…read more The property manager no-showed our scheduled tour, and we waited about an hour before hearing back--only to learn another tour had been prioritized. We also observed significant chipping and peeling paint and chose to pay for an independent inspection. The results indicated lead levels in paint debris exceeding EPA thresholds in both the bedroom and living room. When we asked whether remediation would take place, we were told it would not. We provided a copy of the inspection report for the unit at 56 E Lancaster Ave (2nd floor, 1B1B) to the property manager and were surprised by the response. Based on this experience, we felt uncomfortable moving forward and believe future tenants should be fully informed.
