Oh, and acupuncture! I have always been freaked out by the idea of acupuncture (amongst the typical fears, but I also have to thank Final Destination). My sciatic pain is caused by a bulging disc. It can be helped a lot better with surgery. Right now I'm too overweight to be a candidate. So that's cool. In the meantime, I needed some serious help. I can't stand for a long period of time to do regular daily tasks such as shopping, cleaning, doing the laundry or the dishes. It's hard to exercise. It's hard to sit. It's hard to sleep! I was getting desperate, and decided to take the plunge and try acupuncture. Jessica was my first provider. She's very sweet and made sure I was comfortable with my first visit. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to healing and I have her to thank for FINALLY giving me some LASTING relief of this pain! The treatment truly works between using the needles and the cupping technique, I've never been more pleased with results I've been searching for, for years! I also see Molly in rotation with Jessica, when one is not available I will see the other. Molly is also amazing! Her techniques and routine are a little different than Jessica's too which I feel is beneficial to my body to get a bit of a change once in a while. Molly is a great conversationalist and is also full of wisdom when it comes to overall health. Both Jessica and Molly make my visits feel like a spa treatment because it's so incredibly relaxing.
