As a Realtor, my clients expect me - and rightfully so - to set appointments for them so they do not have to worry about any issues. Well, I have never had as much difficulty trying to give a company business as I have with this one. I guess when you're big enough you can afford to be arrogant. I would not recommend Liftech based on my experience. The biggest concerns were the lack of proper…read moresubgrade preparation, the lack of transparency, and the difficulty getting clear, consistent answers throughout the process. I specifically chose and paid extra for high early cement because my goal was to regain access to my garage parking as soon as possible. I expected clear guidance on the product's performance and realistic timelines. Instead, I received conflicting information ranging from not being able to walk on the concrete for 48 hours to not being able to park on it for anywhere from 2-10 days. When I asked for clarification, the responses were vague. Liftech's production manager stated, "There are no specific specs for high early since it is mixed with concrete at the plant," and also said, "There is varying information because no concrete is created equally." I would expect concrete professionals and concrete plants to have more consistent information regarding the product being installed. Another major concern was the subgrade preparation. Liftech subcontracted the concrete work, and when the crew arrived, they did not even have a compactor onsite. I asked the workers if they planned to compact the subgrade, and based on their responses and actions, it did not appear that proper compaction was part of their plan until I contacted their Project Manager and requested that a compactor be brought to the site. A video documenting the work can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/YBubb-Wx-ac. In the video, it appears that only about 50% of the area was properly compacted, with some areas not compacted at all. The subbase also does not appear to have been watered down as part of the preparation process. The video speaks for itself regarding the preparation that was completed before the concrete was poured. For a project of this size and cost, I expected better communication, transparency, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my experience left me questioning both the workmanship and the information provided throughout the process.

The Prostruct team maintained good communications and delivered an excellent set of foundation and…read moreframing plans aligned to the Architect's concepts for a complicated porch extension. The plans included caissons, structural beams and slab, with void-forms to address problems with expansive soils. Despite coming in a bit behind schedule, the Prostruct plans were in such good shape that there were no go-backs or comments from the Building Dept so that the permit issued quickly and work started back on schedule. Prostruct also then supported the caisson and form inspection with the required "Engineer's' Letter." Thanks Prostruct! Well done!

We hired Construction Services, LLC (Lakewood, CO) June 2017 with a commitment to finish our…read moreaddition within 6-8 weeks. Over one year later and after hiring a different contractor we are finally finishing the project. Rob Turley was recommended to us by the engineering firm (Level Engineering) we used which gave us reason to choose him over the other two contenders. After several months of growing problems - schedule related and work quality - we terminated our relationship with Rob. We hired a different contractor to finish the project discovering there were many re-dos to the work already done that included structural, electrical (5M Electric was the subcontractor), supposedly completed finish work, a master bath disaster and MUCH clean up. Many things (a couple of examples being our exterior doors and a window well cover) were damaged by Rob's crew due to lack of caring when bringing materials in and out and our property was almost always left a mess at day's end. Permit inspections were not scheduled when required. Structural work was not done to engineering specs and covered up so newly constructed walls had to be opened up and the support beams redone to specs and code. The list of poor workmanship is lengthy! If you choose to use Construction Services/Rob I suggest running a background check on Rob Turley so you make an educated decision before choosing him as a contractor. We skipped that step based on the referral until we started having issues and boy wished we had not! Also strongly recommend getting lien waivers for all his subcontractors, which includes most of his crew since they too are subcontracted, not employees. Ensure the subcontractor signs them - suggest witnessing their signing or obtaining yourself as it became questionable who actually signed the liens we were given. While Rob is a likeable man our experience, which started out trusting, became a costly nightmare. Thanks to wonderful city inspectors, an engineer who went above and beyond and the quality contractor who took on the challenge we discovered and corrected many serious issues before we had to start completely over. Now we hold our breath that what we did not find holds up. Goes without saying but we would not recommend Construction Service, LLC/Robert Turley for any project - large or small. B.C.

Much more detailed in the measurements , placement and cost. Without talking to Steve from CSR, I would not have been able to request the additional piers from Thrasher. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but instead he pointed out everything was normal for the type of construction we have, and we'd do more damage than good if we did any of the fixes from the report. He recommended some other minor things but saved us probably tens of thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. I will definitely call Titan again if the need arises.
