I reached out to several other local plumbers first, and while they couldn't get me scheduled until later in the week, they were at least upfront about their availability, so I scheduled appointments with them. I then contacted Mr. Rooter and was told they could come Wednesday. Based on that appointment, I took time off work to be home and available. Then, 1.5 hours before service hours end on the day of the appointment, I get a call saying they need to reschedule. I completely understand that local plumbers are overwhelmed right now with everything going on with the flooding, and I genuinely have compassion for that. But I am overwhelmed too. I have been dealing with not being able to properly use the water in my home since the flood, and I'm trying to get this resolved. What exactly is the point of making an appointment if you can't honor the time you gave the customer? I could have kept my other appointments instead of rearranging my work schedule and losing money to be home for an appointment that ultimately wasn't going to happen. I understand being busy. What I don't understand is confirming an appointment, having someone take time off work to be there, and then canceling it the day of.

Long story short. Previous owner warned me about my trees and old pipes. Same issue started up…read moreagain this year and i call and ask about the special that's going on. Nathan was called out to my house. He gave me a list of options that would be best. Unfortunately i couldn't afford those options and i didn't get approved for financing. So Nathan gave me a previous option from his list minus the camera and got me taken care of, along with made sure i had the information for the best option to take care of my issue once and for all. Nathan saved the day and kept my wife from removing me from this world! Thanks Nathan!

This company is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. To begin I called our insurance to file a…read moreclaim (unsure if it would even be covered) and they made me call these people. We called to schedule them to come out and he said he was already in the area and would call us after the next job. We told him if it was after 430 we would not be home and to not call until tomorrow. Around 630 Doug called us and said he was on his way. We hurried home thinking it must be normal hours for this company if he is willing to come this late! We informed him we had a clog and needed it cleaned out. We recently moved into this house less than a month ago and did not know where the cleanout was. Every other plumber I have ever had has gotten a thin metal rod and prodded the ground to find the cleanout. This man saw dollar signs and after a quick walk around the house said we didn't have one and he had to pull up the toilet. After he aggressively pulled up the toilet he began trying to snake it out but kept hitting the toilet in the other bathroom! His next words were "Well now we have to dig up your yard." I DON'T THINK SO! By this time my neighbor had come home and knew exactly where the cleanout was. Less than 2in under MULCH not underground! I told him I wanted him gone but he was still going to charge us $198 for pulling up a toilet and NOT fixing the problem. To finish the job (or actually do the job he said he would "cut us a break" and charge $381). I told him to leave the toilet out because my father and fiance are perfectly capable of putting it back and quite frankly I was very upset at this point and wanted him gone. The next day after the toilet was put back in it now has a crack in the tank and the water line is leaking. We called Chuck Torn to address the issues at hand. He said that it is not his problem and that the cleanout was 5in underground and was also not his job to find it. He then went to say that once my fiance becomes a real f'ing plumber he can tell him how to do his job. Does that sound like a CEO and like good customer service. Not to mention they told the insurance company I only paid $100 (the deductible) trying to get more money and commit insurance fraud! Better Business Bureau is my next stop.
