Pricing was amazing and the final quote did not change a cent from the original (except by me as I subtracted one element from the original quote). The crew was friendly & worked diligently. The poor rating is, however, due to the owner's lack of communication, clarity on billing, and delays in responding. After informing Jason that services were no longer needed due to purchasing a lawn mower and my 14-year-old son taking more responsibility, I was informed that a buyout was needed on the "contract" signed. Yes, an estimate was signed for a set amount of mowings billed monthly; however, there was no mention of how to cancel the services or whether services would not be needed. Right or wrong, the wording is vague. After a few text messages exchanged over several days, the buyout amounts were higher than what was already paid, plus this fee would be for the estimate. A request for a telephone call for clarity was made, and it was several days later that a phone call was made late in the evening with no message being left by the owner. The following day, I made two phone calls to contact them; no response from the company until two weeks later, from an office manager. We discussed a reasonable solution and was told she would get back to me the next day. Fast forward nearly three weeks later, I received a call from the owner saying multiple attempts were made to contact me to pay the bill and that if I refused, collections was going to be notified. I explained again that I would like to see proof of the contract, how the final number was being calculated, and how many attempts were made to contact me. After much back and forth and complete rudeness on the owner's part, both of us discovered that a check that was mailed in June did not make it and that indeed was the final amount. I completely agreed, as work had been performed verbally. On the same day received the final amount and confirmed by text, the amount, and that bill would be mailed next day(it was) The owner then proceeded to push the issue asking if I received the screen shots of him reaching out to my initial request of canceling services within 24 hours, I questioned why the ask if this as we had already agreed this was a error, and proceeded to show him that in fact this was not true and struggled with how any of this was clear communication by a business owner. Would not recommend based on complete disregard for any customer service dignity on the owner's part and lack of organization in billing. Horrible to sum up.
