My princess Snow is 1 years old and is extremely energetic. She does not believe in personal space and gets so excited she jumps all over you. After 6 training sessions with Teresa she is now sitting when we say sit. She also has learned the command "down" so when she gets excited and wants to jump all over us we say down and she waits for us to welcome all her love lol. Teresa is really good and patient, she is not mean to our baby or just give her a bunch of treats she treated my baby like she was hers and I felt comfortable leaving her with her.

He's not scared to be in the car anymore.

My Chipin is 5 years old and I adopted him 2 months ago. I found out pretty quickly that he is very fearful of other dogs. I knew I had to get help to socialize him. Teresa has been very helpful and patient. Her pricing is very reasonable as well, especially when you get a package deal. She also comes to me. I purchased an 18 session package and after 4 sessions my dog Harley is doing so much better around other dogs. He still has a ways to go, but he actually listens to me when I correct him and he calms down fairly quickly. He has even been better about stopping his barking inside the house when he hears others outside (whether human or canine). We went to the dog park today and walked around the perimeter and he actually touched a dogs nose through the fence without freaking out! I'm so excited to see him improve so quickly and I know it's because I hired Teresa.

He has shown us what cues to look for and how to get the best out of our dogs while using firm and loving methods. Essentially, he teaches us how to motivate our dogs to want to do the exercises. He has wonderful follow up, as well, and doesn't push anything but rather encourages. It has been a wonderful experience and we will work with Fernando again after we've had time to practice what we learned. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in effective, long lasting training practices and strengthening your understanding of your fur babies. Thank you, Fernando!!

He took the time to really understand Cowboy's personality and our specific goals. We're currently focusing on preventing "door dashing," improving basic obedience, and walking nicely on a leash -- and we're already seeing major progress! One of the things I appreciate most is Fernando's flexibility with in-home scheduling. It's made the training process so much more manageable for our family. He explains everything clearly and always gives us practical tools and homework that are easy to follow between sessions. Cowboy is responding so well to Fernando's calm, consistent approach, and we feel much more confident as dog owners thanks to his guidance. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, helpful, and reliable dog trainer, Fernando is your person!

Our cat of 18 years had recently passed away and our hope was introducing the new cats would be somewhat smooth considering the cohabitation of over a decade but it proved more challenging than we had imagined. Erin is calm and cool and slipped in easily. All the pets loved her and adjusted to her presence quickly. Erin gave us expert advice and helped us to get past the road blocks we were encountering. She had great suggestions to reframe our intros through different exercises that really moded the needle forward. It was super valuable having her keen eyes watching all the animals body language and also we humans. Getting that feedback in the moment was super helpful. Also, great having another set of hands if needed to wrangle the kids! Thanks so much Erin! The kids say hi!

I appreciated how Erin offered intro calls before enrolling for classes to ask any questions on how the classes are structure. Class sizes are kept small and they use positive reinforcement. We decided to enroll our dog at Woof! Erin sends an intro email before class to prepare you and what you need to bring/get for class in addition to resources and guides on training. Reminder texts/emails before class, so you don't forget. Woof offers group classes for adult and puppies, private 1:1 lessons, or a mix of both. My partner and I have really enjoyed going to Woof. In class, Erin will model the cues and have us practice the cues with our dog and give guidance or answer any of our questions. The building is located in City Heights and has its own parking lot behind the building to park.

We came to him when we brought home…read moreJuni, our Doberman puppy, knowing we needed someone who understood working dogs and he delivered. He's helped us become better, more informed dog owners and make sure we're meeting Juni's physical and mental needs, not just teaching her commands. The results speak for themselves: she has off-leash freedom we honestly didn't think was possible, walks nicely on leash, and has good manners with guests. We also did a board and train while we were on vacation, and she came back sharper than ever. What makes Gonzalo stand out is how much he gets dogs. He doesn't have a one-size-fits-all approach. He talks about different training methods and helps you figure out what works for your specific dog's temperament. The biggest thing we took away is how much mindset and thresholds matter. A lot of trainers we looked into were focused purely on obedience with treats (sit, down, stay) in low-distraction settings, with no real plan for when your dog is stressed or overstimulated. Gonzalo pushed us to proof those skills at higher levels and hold our very smart but airheaded dog to higher standards, and because of that, Juni is pretty dang reliable out in the real world. We've since moved to LA and we will still make the drive to San Diego to see him. Highly, highly recommend.

We had an introductory phone call and within just a few minutes I knew I found the right trainer. He was kind, patient, and supportive... not just with my dog, but with me as well. He made it clear that training is just as much about teaching the owner as it is about teaching the dog. He was tough and direct when needed, which I really appreciated. It held me accountable and helped me understand how my own habits were affecting my dog. He balanced that "tough love" with genuine care, encouragement, and always provided clear explanations that were easy to apply at home... and trust me, he'll know if you aren't doing the reps at home. But how could you not when you see how much he cares and truly wants to help?! I never experienced issues with my dog in the 6 years I've had him, so I was beyond discouraged before I started working with Gonzalo. In the last four months, my dog has grown so much in confidence and behavior, and I've grown as an owner. I now see that training doesn't just stop, so I will continue to work with Gonzalo and make sure to recommend him to anyone looking for help.

She loved us but was very defensive toward other people and other dogs. We couldn't have visitors at the house otherwise she would absolutely lose her mind. We couldn't take her anywhere without her barking, lunging, and pulling on the leash. We didn't want to give up on her but considering I was pregnant at the time, we needed her to improve asap. Dave spoke with us over the phone to assess Gigi's behavior and come up with a plan. From the very first meeting at the park, we saw improvements and Gigi ended up loving Dave after the first walk. She became exited to see him from then on, something we didn't think she was capable of. We walked through Kensington, let her run around the nearby park, and got her used to seeing other dogs. We eventually incorporated some family members into the training sessions and she ended up accepting them as well. Finally, we moved the training to our home to improve her behavior with visitors there since the baby was coming any day. Over those few months, Gigi went from a dog who was scared and insecure, to a dog who feels comfortable with her family, is learning to allow visitors at home, enjoys walks, and is gaining confidence more and more each day. I am including photos of Gigi with one of our family members who, prior to working with Dave, she likely would have not been so friendly with. It's amazing she is learning to love other people! We were even able to leave town and have family watch her and it was a huge success. She is also much better around our other two dogs and enjoys laying around and playing with them now! Thank you Dave! We look forward to working with you for our other dog as well!
