I finally called and spoke with Rochelle who understood my position and apologized, but said they do not want to be sued in the event of a claim and that providing the quotes would take too much time for them so she suggested I look for another agent. I suspect I'm ultimately likely to remain with my current carrier, but wanted to evaluate everything before deciding. The agency unfortunately was more interested in covering themselves than my needs as a consumer. I can't imagine they would ever go to the mat for me in a catastrophic situation, so I'll be looking for a new agency.
