We had countertops installed in our kitchen and it was a disaster from the very beginning. We took the new sink that we were having the countertops built around and it was misplaced and then found. The install crew did not show up when expected and another crew had to be sent. Once the countertops were installed, there were 2 significant chips in the surface and we had to call another professional out due to the holes for the outlets being cut too large. We were not advised that the countertops had to be sealed and did not know since we don't install or sell countertops for a living. This is the end product shortly after installation. I called to inquire and was sent product links via text from the manager and told to use them. By the time this occurred, they already looked like this. We did pay hundreds of dollars to have a company come out to extract the liquids and seal the countertops but again, was already too late. As you can see in the pictures, the back is what the countertop should look like. This was even a granite that the salesman recommended we purchase with no mention of needing sealed. read more
