However, the bowling lanes all worked like they were supposed to, there was a small arcade, and most suprising of all -- the food was excellent. I mean, it is a bowling alley, so how mucb do I really need to say? Getting shoes was quick, but they only had 1 size 15 shoe, so one other person in our group needed to wear 16's. The leadup to the lanes is a bit tight. Meaning, when each team had 4 players and were standing around talking, it was hard to get around the tables and squeeze past the people talking. If you went with just a couple others, I'm sure it is fine, but I would think that during league play, it would be annoying to routinely have to squeeze past people all the time. The real surprise that I mentioned earlier was the food. I got a burger, fries, and onion rings. The fries and onion rings are frozen, of course, but they were very good. Even the burger was flavorful, which is saying a lot for what I would normally get at a bowling alley. I'd bowl thete just to grab lunch, honestly. And it was made super fast as well. The woman whok took the order seemed disintrested, but there was a lot of us up there consistently for drinks and such, so I couls see how it could wear you down. Overall, this doesn't look like it would be a great place to bowl, but it actually is. If you have a lot of people bowling on lanes, the fit is pretty tight to get to the lane if literally anyone is standing rather than sitting. The lanes all work just fine. They have cosmic bowling (they turned that on during our rental). There is an arcade. And the food is really good if you like what I would consider "bar food" (burgers, fries, onion rings, chicken baskets, fish baskets). It it good enough to go there just to eat, so if you need dinner and also like to bowl, this is a good place to try.

My initial impression of the gym was that the space seemed small compared to the amount of equipment in it. There also appeared to be many kids and few adults. 10 minutes into class, I took my 3 year old to the bathroom. I came back to find my 5 year old bleeding from a head wound with the teachers holding tissues to her head. She was struck in the forehead with a trapeze bar and needed stitches. I was completely dumbfounded as to how this could have happened with two adults supposedly teaching the class. Clearly, if there was ANY danger of someone getting hit by a swinging bar, there should have been an adult present to ensure the kids waiting their turn were a safe distance away. Obviously, at the time, I was focused on getting my daughter out the door and to a doctor, but I was never offered any type of bandage, ice, gauze, or medical assistance. My husband went to Flippers the next day to express his concern about the situation. He asked where the first aid kit was and was never shown it. He also spoke with the owner on the phone, asking what type of changes might be implemented to prevent this type of thing from happening again. The owner apologized for what happened and offered additional free classes but was wishy washy on what, if any change, would be made. At one point, she chalked it up to a "freak accident" and essentially blamed my daughter because "she wasn't used to the routine."
