We didn't have a lot of expectations given the reviews on here but we figured we check it out for our son. We were pleasantly surprised how much fun we had! When we walked in, we were greeted by the nice staff and volunteers who told us the $4 entrance fee goes towards donations to help feed, house, and care for all the animals. We also learned that they're rescue animals. They have a variety of farm animals to feed and pet including a donkey, ponies, sheep, goats, cows, and chickens. They offer a punch card when you purchase grains to feed the animals too. Our son had so much fun with the animals. He smiled and laughed in excitement which put a huge smile on our face. Keep in mind that the farm is small but they are working hard to expand for everyone of all ages. There's a cute little rollercoaster and pony carousel. They even have a small Wild West theme town for the kids to play on. We had a great time on the farm. Definitely recommend checking this place out. We will be sure to come back again.

There was a really pretty multicolored little bird in the front and a hand washing station. I saw a hedgehog, rats, ferrets and fish/frogs at the front. We went past the gate into the same room and there was a pig, two goats, an alpaca, two baby lambs, and a small type of horse. The alpaca and horse were tethered, but the others were free to roam within the room and there were some toys around. The gates (within the same room) have 3 other separated sections, there was a reptile section with turtles, a lizard, I can't remember exactly, but probably a snake. The next section had bunnies, small bunnies and full sized bunnies of a few different breeds, they were very soft, but a little difficult to try to pick up as most of them were hiding under their cages. And the last section had some baby ducks or goslings I couldn't tell, as well as some empty bird cages. It depends on who you go with. I kept trying to pet the baby lambs because I had drove 45 minutes to get there haha. From what I understand, they also have like a traveling petting zoo and you can hire them for parties/events. All in all, the animals seem well taken care of even though there isn't a ton of space. Now that I've been once, I don't think I need to go again, but it could be a fun activity for a local to try.

It also means that if you don't take your time you're gonna end up covering the whole zoo in two hours.

Lots of lights from animal shaped to Halloween themed. The whole Zoo felt friendly and inviting. This year they decided to turn it into the AI slop fest. They dropped the endearing decorations for AI generated screens. A section of circle screens with 100% AI generated "interactive" Halloween videos. An AI generated video story of a bat. They even turned the area by the carousel into an AI DJ booth. The AI at the DJ area was so off that between the 1-3 AI characters being shown at any given time, none even shared the same model, tone, or theme. We are so sad that the true Boo Lights is gone and fear Zoo Lights is going to be the same experience but AI Christmas instead.

We actually left and came back in the same day because we liked it so much. It's in a great location at the mall so parking is easy and there are plenty of nearby food options. Lockers were free which was really nice for us. I would suggest leaving any jackets or hoodies in the locker if possible since you can get warm moving around. Each game is in its own box and you can have up to 6 players. We had three and there was plenty of room to move around, I don't know if I'd like 6 players in one room especially if they were all adults. Let's talk about the games. You get a visor with antenna on it and this tracks where you are in the box which allows you to interact with what's happening on the screens/walls. It takes a second to get used to but Alien Aptitude is a good place to start to help you get used to the dynamics. If you step toward the front screen you will move up. Stepping back toward the door will move you down on the main screen. This one I think is fun for all ages and is basically mini games and puzzles. Next we did Squid Game which was more challenging and also fun. It has the familiar scenes and sounds from the show so my teenagers really liked it. Lastly, my youngest and I did the escape room while my middle boy decided to walk around the mall for a bit. This was the first time we've done a virtual escape room but we've done tons of standard escape rooms so it was semi familiar. You touch the walls in this experience more so than the other two games we played. You move through rooms by touching doorways and you open objects by touching them. It has mini games incorporated into the escape room so you're still solving puzzles and being active. It was challenging and fun and we made it out in less than an hour. Bottom line is that this place is a great place to burn off some energy while using your brain and that's a good combination in my opinion. When playing ghostbusters, we got to the "final boss" and everyone in our party got a chance to fight him except my 12-year-old and myself. I felt bad for her.
