San Diego Mobile Welding saved the day!…read more I have a vacation rental and one of our bed frame supports broke on one of our guests! Yikes! I called and they had someone at our house in less than a half an hour. He went over and above his original scope of work by tightening up the entire bed frame and also welding the bed frame support. They also charged me $50 less than quoted because they got a job in my neighborhood while they were working on my job. When does that ever happen? I am sold. A new loyal customer! Thank you so much!!

Paul and Isaac were great to work with from start to finish. They came out to take measurements, discussed the design we wanted and our rail was fabricated and installed in less than two weeks. I recently worked with Efficient Ironworks and couldn't be happier with the entire experience…read more Paul, the owner, is truly exceptional. My deck has a lot of odd angles and was a complicated project, but Paul made everything feel easy. He was extremely communicative--texted me back right away, came out immediately to give me a quote, and always answered every follow-up question I had. It was genuinely a pleasure working with him. My custom-designed railing (64 linear feet) was hot-dip galvanized and took about six weeks from start to finish. Paul recommended a matte black finish because the hot-dip process can leave slight irregularities, but it ensures the metal will never rust. He was absolutely right--the final result is stunning. The railing was installed the day before my birthday party, and we made it just in time. All of my guests and neighbors were blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. Paul is professional, reliable, and highly skilled. I would honestly ignore any one-star reviews--they do not reflect the quality of his work or service. I look forward to hiring him again in the future for a security gate and more ironwork projects. Five stars, easily.

So Cali Custom Metal Fab is THE BEST EXAMPLE of what great customer service, premiere quality…read moreexecution, and on time delivery should look and sound like in the Metal Fabrication and Construction Industry. Family Owned and Operated, Neil, Franco, and the rest of the team prides themselves on doing business the way it should be. Context: I'm a homeowner who needed a custom metal stringer staircase to be fabricated and installed on my property. Three months prior to contacting SCCMF my general contractor who was building a two story 1600 sq/ft ADU + Addition abandoned the project and left me (owner) to complete the build as an owner/builder following dry-in and partial siding completed. With that was the abandonment of the subcontractor fabricator who was scheduled to install stairs the following week, long story short they had never begun the fabrication after payment was received. Let's just say it was difficult to coordinate and complete the project throwing off of ladders and scaffolding. That's when I was introduced to Southern Cali Custom and when I say they 'saved my ass' I don't say that lightly. They completed the project on time, on budget and exceeded expectations. Scope: * Two sets of Custom Galvi Steel Stringers and Tread buckets with pour in place concrete skid proof * Stainless Tube handrail and cables There were many variables about the project and surprises left behind from the GC who abandoned the project with framing not corresponding to planset and SCCMF handled it with clear communication, clear change orders, and never took advantage of the situation. These guys do work the way work should be done, with honesty and integrity through and through. But wait there's more... the first winter storm that hit San Diego (yah that happens) we discovered a massive water intrusion issue coming from the ramp where the stairs were located. I called all the subs for an onsite meeting to perform a water test as well as the original GC who abandoned the work and let's just say all the finger pointing went to "the stair guys did it". SCCMF's response, "if there was a failure due to the work we provided we will make it right and we stand by our work." They were THE ONLY sub who took responsibility for their work and in fact after we hired a forensic construction failure firm their conclusion resulted in "the failure to install flashing and counterflashing on the ramp underneath the stairs". This was NOT WORK performed by SCCMF. Nonetheless, who did I hire to repair the water intrusion issue? SCCMF because the level of trust gained in the process was priceless and their knowledge of the challenging project. Thank you SCCMF.
