When I approved the quote we talked about color options, and he recommended the "Native" color. I wanted something neutral but with a little character in a herringbone pattern, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. He also mentioned darker tones tend to hold up better in the Arizona heat since lighter colors fade faster. The only hiccup was the scheduling process. They require a deposit before scheduling, which made me a little hesitant. I was told I'd get a call later that day to set the install date, but it took a couple follow-up calls before we actually got it confirmed. The office staff was always very polite and helpful though. On install day, I had given instructions on where materials could be placed since I live in a townhouse complex, but the pavers ended up being left in the grass overnight instead. Luckily everything was fine. I later found out the superintendent originally assigned to my project got sick, so another team member stepped in and didn't have all the details from our earlier conversations, which probably explains the communication mix-up. That said, once the work started the crew moved quickly and finished within the expected timeframe (about three days). The final result looks great and I'm very happy with the finished project.

The crew's craftsmanship on the travertine was genuinely good, but everything around project management and communication fell short. Owner Kendall repeatedly gave us specific dates and times for work to happen, which were then missed without proactive updates -- we had to chase him for status on nearly every phase. Demo also ran long, and the crew failed to clear debris from our driveway in time for Easter; we ended up using Facebook Marketplace to get people to haul away leftover materials ourselves. The turf installation has been the most disappointing part. For what we paid for a premium product, the seams are visibly poor. It took five weeks just to get a crew out to attempt a repair, and that attempt made the seam lines worse. We now have a tentative date for another repair, but given the pattern of missed commitments, we're not confident it will be honored. At one point we went over a month without any contact from them - until they called asking for payment, and we had to push back to get anyone out to the site. The project started before Easter. It's now nearly August, and it's still not finished. If clear communication and reliable follow-through matter to you, I'd be cautious about pursuing CitiScapes.

The simple task was to upkeep the yard in the condition it got cleaned to for certain amount. They have been failing to do the job if supervision is not applied. Furthermore, when you ask them why they stopped watering the bushes for example, the answer was to pay them $25 more per visit so they hold the hose for 5 min. They do not upkeep the yard, the trees started to die, too much weed killer as well, perhaps. We never watered those bushes when we lived there, they are native to the desert and never died. The yard grows some weeds, oops, it is $120 more to spray the " extra" weeds. Because they have not being upkeeping or over spraying with weed killer, the bushes and the small trees started to die. I have a dead young palm tree as well. When you tell them to do what you have being paying them for, it is an extra $100 per visit. What have you been doing for the money you get? The bushes and small trees are the only things to maintain. Have you being mowing the rocks? When you do the " cleaning and maintenance trip" and you charge without getting the job done consistently, then ask for extra money to do what you were getting paid for and you did not do, it is a scam. $220 per hour for yard maintenance visit? I'm sorry , it's not BMW dealership service shop.

This was my first remodel, so I did a lot of research and got multiple bids. Andrew's pricing was lower than others, but his work looked almost too perfect, which honestly made me skeptical at first. I reached out to one of his past reviewers before hiring him, just to confirm they had a good experience and they had nothing but great things to say. Now I understand why. Andrew handled demo, moved the shower to a different wall, installed all new tile, plumbing, lighting, and built the entire shower from scratch. He also has a strong eye for design and helped guide decisions in a way that felt collaborative, not pushy. He showed up exactly when he said he would every single day and worked full 8-10 hour days until everything was complete. His communication stayed clear, consistent, and reliable. He kept the job site clean, contained the dust to one area, and was extremely respectful of my home. I took notice that he was the only contractor who took his shoes off at the door when walking thru to bid. That said a lot to me about him. He continued to do things that showed his good nature and great character. Another thing I really appreciated was I felt that he genuinely looked out for me. A designer I had hired was pushing me toward options that were well over my budget, and Andrew encouraged me to take a step back and think it through. He even suggested better alternatives, which I ended up using. That kind of honesty is rare. He also recommended great companies for other parts of the project, including AQ Glass Arizona Shower Doors and Aaron Dominguez Granite, both of which did excellent work. He stayed on budget, did everything right the first time, and was incredibly patient with me throughout the process. I've already hired him again for my kitchen and guest bathroom, and he's even come back for a few smaller requests without hesitation. The only "negative" is that he's booked pretty far out, but that's really not a negative. It just means he's in demand. He is absolutely worth the wait. I feel very lucky to have found him and would recommend him without hesitation.
