We interviewed a lot of painters and even hired someone different initially.(before meeting James) Luckily the Guy we hired turned out to be totally irresponsible and just decided to not do the job after contract signed and paid 50% because "he wasn't feeling the vibe...?" Anyhow that was a blessing in disguise. The first time we met James we felt very comfortable with him. He was VERY thorough in walking the house... taking notes... giving his thoughts. I liked him so much I cancelled the other quotes I had scheduled and told him immediately that I wanted to work with him if we could keep within our budget. He ended up giving me a quote on the spot and we scheduled our service immediately. He's a busy guy so we had to wait a few weeks, but as the saying goes... "the best things come to those whom wait." He arrived on time every day with his partner Jeremy. The two of them worked super hard and even accommodated some changes on the fly. I could not be happier with the work they did, and not only would I hire them again but I consider both guys friends after having them in my home for a couple weeks. I'm looking forward to having them back to do our exterior in the spring! Oh, one more thing... while James was painting our ceiling he noticed a slight bulge in one area that I never would have noticed. Thanks to him I had a plumber come out who found Black mold in our ceiling!!! Thanks to James not only is our house more beautiful but it's now safer for my family as well. To meet someone in the trade that knew what they were doing, took pride in their work, and communicated up front any issues or decisions that had to be made was what we were looking for.  Erik and his crew took over our stalled addition; they fixed the existing floor framing, laid the sub-floor, raised the walls and trusses, sided the addition, sheeted the roof, and dry walled the interior.  They also installed all the new windows, hung the exterior doors, and installed the faux batten boards for the entire house exterior with meticulous detail. Erik took over a broken project and made it right for my family and that in itself says it all.  His crew hustled on the job site even when nobody was looking and showed up to work on time with a smile on their faces and looked you in the eye when communicating.  With an addition there is always surprises and Erik was upfront with what to expect and more importantly dealt with the unexpected professionally.  There was a lot of our project that my wife and I ended up doing ourselves, some planned and some not, but Erik was a great resource in pointing us in the right direction when we had questions.  Erik and his crew are a refreshing reminder of how people are supposed to be; hard working, take pride in their work, do what they say, and respect their customers as people just like them.

We filed a complaint with the contractors board. After mediation Billy offered less than one-eighth…read moreof what we had paid him. He walked away and left us in a mess. His only response to use was "find another contractor" Nothing was salvageable and it cost us an additional 81% of our downpayment to fix his mistakes and poor quality of work. He offered plenty of sob story excuses and no effort to fix his mess. Think long and hard about hiring Integrity Jack of all Trades. He has no integrity and poor quality workmanship. Buyer beware!
