On top of that, she followed up with me after hours on several issues and took the time to find my prescriptions at the lowest cost possible. Really??? No doctor ever does that. Dr. Inaam J. Schneider does. If you are concerned about ObamaCare and the changes coming or if you are like us and just couldn't afford the new Marketplace pricing, go to Dr. Schneider. Maria (Dr. Schneider's staff) was helpful and cheerful from the moment I walked in and Dr. Schnieder spent more than an hour and half with me, listening and responding to my medical history. Dr. Inaam is knowledgeable, yet humble. In my experience, humility is a rarity in the medical community. Here's how I know this about her: It's really difficult to draw my blood. My veins are small and deep, and I can't tell you how many times I've left a blood draw and had bruises on the insides of both elbows for days. When Dr. Inaam and Maria didn't immediately find a good vein, they didn't poke and poke. They didn't even poke once! They gave me two bottle of water to drink to see whether hydration would help. When it didn't, they sent me to LabCorp where someone who draws blood all day every day quickly tapped a vein and got the blood necessary for my tests. There were many good things about my visit, but that was the thing that sealed the deal and made me sure Dr. Inaam is the right doctor for me.

Now all you get is basic text book condescending treatment. Dr. Schneider & the other women (sorry forgot name, it wasn't a pleasant enough to remember) know more about our health than we do and have no time to hear about how you feel and what's been working. They are textbook cover my ass policy & time billing driven. It's sad that the Duke name is represented by this level of care.

The practice has lost about 4 Doctors in recent years because they could no longer tolerate Duke Administration's mandate for how Patient care is administered. For example, an MD is allowed 7 - 11 minutes for a follow-up appointment and 15 minutes for a regular appointment. No wonder Patients are angry at the doctors! It's not their fault, however. Did you know that every year Duke assigns an additional patient load of 200 patients TO EACH MD??? No wonder they can't practice medicine in an effective manner. This is rampant throughout the entire Duke system now! It's just awful.

Oh my goodness! I have my life back! I don't know any other practice that has this new technology. Treatments last about 20 minutes and they are painless. Also, Dr. Gruber is exceptional! Dr. Cara Davis, also at this practice, is the best Primary Care physician you could find. If you need a new doctor or chiropractor, you cannot do better than Med One.

YES, releasing patients is a thing, typically VERY rare in the industry due to the downstream impacts of abandoning patients, but 3 in 3 years, clearly not for this practice, and 2 PA's too in that time? One has to ask what the heck is going on over there?! Why are they having so much trouble keeping doctors AND patients? What is the common denominator? Say it with me....POOR MANAGEMENT! I've had to go in for unscheduled sick visits on 3 occasions and they were always able to work me in somehow. When I do have an appointment, I almost never have to wait. The nurses have always been personable and helpful. Dr. Hansell is quick and efficient. She is very knowledgeable about different treatment modalities and she seems to want what's best for you. She encourages a healthy lifestyle and would like to have you taking as few meds as possible. I also love that they use MyUNCChart.org. Whenever I have a question, Dr. Hansell or one of her nurses responds very quickly!

Unprofessional front desk employees. They did not document that an appointment was canceled and now…read morethey have made it very difficult to get in to see a doctor. The rule is the doctor has to OK the appointment if you do not cancel. The appointment was cancelled because I went to the office the day of what I thought was the Appointment but it was the wrong day, so I did not see the doctor and I did not reschedule. However they did not document it as such so I am now listed in their system as someone who did not cancel their appointment and now they treat you like a criminal. In addition I received a letter to come in for a flu shot, when I called them To set up an appointment for the Flu shot I was told that I needed to go someplace else to get a flu shot because they do not give the flu shot, however I have a letter requesting that I come in for it. I'm looking for another doctor. They are also screening to see if they want you as a patient
