The pool is nice but the grounds are dirty. There is trash and cigarette butts all over the grass.

Having grown up in an area where day passes to community pools were a given, it was quite the shock…read moreto move to Philly and realize it's next to nearly impossible to get a day pass anywhere. This past week we went to the Marsh Creek Swimming pool for the day with our twins. It does get crowded with campers, but all in all it was a good experience. The pool is sectioned off nicely with a ramp into a very shallow area - perfect for toddler play. The "deep" end is only 4 feet deep, so it isn't too crazy. They have a fantastic splash pad area and you can rent the pavilion. We brought beach chairs and sat in the grass - the grass areas are limited, so I'm sure it's insane on the weekends, but it worked perfectly for us.

I was surprised that my 10-month-old was charged full admission. The pool was also extremely crowded. People were jumping into the water, throwing balls, and tossing each other around, which led to people accidentally getting hit. It didn't feel like there was much enforcement of pool safety or courtesy. I imagine the experience would be much better on a weekday when it's less busy, but I still think the pool should have clearer rules and better supervision to keep everyone safe. Overall, I'd recommend reconsidering the admission policy for infants and enforcing pool rules more consistently to create a safer, more enjoyable environment for families.

This is a nice public pool…read more The positives: * Great food at the snack bar * Staff are nice and helpful * Nice patrons * Offers daily admission for non residents The negatives: * The lifeguards blow whistles every 2 seconds for people who violate the rules, especially kids. * These staff are strict about rules such as outside food, appropriate swimwear, etc. I was there on 7/2/26 and the female lifeguard apparently mentioned to someone no outdoor food allowed and said it's always been a rule, although I've snuck in food before. The snack bar was fully open. I don't always want to spend food and want my own drinks and food. Not consistent. * It costs $20 to get a day pass before 5pm if a nonresident and $10 after 5pm.

I decided to take my autistic twin 6 year old son's and 4 year old daughter to this pool on the 4th of July because they love the water and it calms them. The entire time I was there I was harassed by pool staff who said I was not wearing the appropriate swim attire. I had a 3 piece on mixed match from other swim pieces I had at home, several pool staff continued coming up to me interrogating me. Then my 4 year old went to the bathroom, and ran out naked, I quickly pulled up her bottom piece, and the staff member asked me, are those underwear she has on. The staff there are ridiculous. The pool manager there was very rude and continued to try to humiliate me every way she could, she was trying to get a rise out of me, but was unsuccessful. I volunteered to stay out of the pool just so my kids to continue to swim, because I didn't want to disturb my boys, and cause them to have a melt down and pulling them out of the pool because the pool staff wants to pick and choose what they feel is appropriate swim wear. The pool manager continued to harass me and said, "if you get in the pool I will have to ask you to leave", I said to her, "I said I will stay out you don't need to keep talking to me". I even ask for a refund, she said no, because I have been there an hour to long. I would of talked my boys in going to a different pool. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to go to this pool. You have been warned!
