The entire time I was there I was harassed by pool staff who said I was not wearing the appropriate swim attire. I had a 3 piece on mixed match from other swim pieces I had at home, several pool staff continued coming up to me interrogating me. Then my 4 year old went to the bathroom, and ran out naked, I quickly pulled up her bottom piece, and the staff member asked me, are those underwear she has on. The staff there are ridiculous. The pool manager there was very rude and continued to try to humiliate me every way she could, she was trying to get a rise out of me, but was unsuccessful. I volunteered to stay out of the pool just so my kids to continue to swim, because I didn't want to disturb my boys, and cause them to have a melt down and pulling them out of the pool because the pool staff wants to pick and choose what they feel is appropriate swim wear. The pool manager continued to harass me and said, "if you get in the pool I will have to ask you to leave", I said to her, "I said I will stay out you don't need to keep talking to me". I even ask for a refund, she said no, because I have been there an hour to long. I would of talked my boys in going to a different pool. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to go to this pool. You have been warned!

We stayed in Loop C, where our group has camped for the past few years. The sites themselves are decent some a little tighter than others, but generally well maintained. Each spot has a partial paved pad for the camper, a gravel area with a fire ring, and a picnic table. It's wooded, quiet, and has that classic PA campground feel. There's plenty to do here... hiking trails, a lake for canoeing, disc golf, a playground, and a large pool (closed during our stay but opens Memorial Day weekend). The campground was actually pretty full for Easter weekend, which says a lot about how popular it is. Park rangers are definitely present and take rules seriously (especially bikes without helmets or lights), which is great for safety. But... the bathhouse situation needs attention. For a loop with around 40 sites including tents, campers, yurts, and cabins-- there were only 2 showers and 2 restrooms. On top of that, cleanliness and upkeep just weren't where they should be for a state park. That was honestly the biggest letdown of the trip. We also had some rough weather, but that's camping... you roll with it. Overall, it's a beautiful park with a lot to offer, and we'll likely be back. Just hoping the bathhouse situation gets some upgrades, because that's the one thing holding it back from being a really great campground.

When I went as a kid it was like $2 admission for the whole day and now its $10. I understand that times have changed with inflation / etc. but that is pretty excessive... Probably explains why the pool is almost empty a majority of the time on hot summer days. The diving board use to be a the far end of the 12 ft deep section where you could dive in and swim straight all the way to the 3ft section. Now they have the pool sectioned in half to accommodate for pro swimmers and have 2 lanes dedicated for that, but it takes up over 1/4 of the pool. The rules they have are pretty excessive and ridiculous such as not allowing kids to have boogie boards or pool noodles. They still feature a DJ on certain Thursday nights, but it just doesn't draw the same crowd anymore that it use to. There are other larger and nicer pools in the area that cost less and you'll likely get more for your money.

My biggest issue is the lack of knowledge the staff has for the handling of any special needs child. I would hope that the staff can eventually educate themselves to understand how to handle issues like the one I had today.
