For all the couples out there that are about to get married. I'm doing everyone a service by listing this place first. This business was no where to be found on the internet and I had to use google maps to relocate this place after my first trip when I stumbled upon it walking through the DTLA flower district.
Anyways, the reason for my post that I had recently gotten married and tried searching high and low for centerpiece ideas. My mom wanted to create these tree centerpieces that she had seen at other peoples weddings. While it is not original, I found it very difficult to locate these trees let alone to buy in bulk. They vary from size, we purchased 45 of the medium sized ones. I forgot the price but the more you buy the price is negotiable. Trust me, its heck of a lot cheaper than flowers and they last forever. Its a bare tree that is a blank canvas that you can make your own. Fortunate for me that my mother is creatively talented that she made each of these trees shine. Now I wont explain how it was made because this post isn't about my centerpiece. Just know from the looks of the photo, each tree took 8 hours to transform to what it looks like. Literally people were fighting over these trees at my wedding and for those who didn't get one they were deeply saddened.
Tip for those who have summer weddings, create a centerpiece like this and you dont have to worry about the heat wilting your flowers. read more
