My favorite place to go for a wonderful selection of orchids, cactus, vases, etc. You can come here and buy things individually and make your own arrangements or have Mr. Kim or staff make an arrangement for you. This time, I called in and sent Mr. Kim 4 different orchid arrangements via text that I would like done. He was able to duplicate them with exact precision all the way down the the vases. They are extremely competitive in pricing and charged a nominal fee for delivery. I will never go anywhere else for orchid arrangements, they are the best. Tips: the website on this page is actually not theirs, it's the owner's relative that owns a different orchid store. Call them directly to get your orders in. Also, I wouldn't buy the driftwood here because sometimes it comes with termites. (It was an expensive learning experience) read more

Always kind, always helpful. Great quality and very clean. I Love the orchids here and they have other amazing and healthy plants as well.

I could not get to the store because I'm all of the homeless tents pitched all along the streets and the flower Mart when I finally did Park there was a man urinating in the street. There was a couple physically fighting on the sidewalk. I know the store is very good, but I want warn anybody that is going how badly this area has disintegrated over the past year. My recommendation is to please prepare yourself and to definitely find a paid parking lot that is safe. definitely leave your valuables at home and not in the car. read more

Great service and great prices! I got a relatively large orchid arrangement for my grandma for $78 which is very affordable compared to flower arrangements at the florist. I got to choose my own pot and the plants inside it. The lady at the store also had it ready in less than 15 minutes. The flowers got a lot of compliments and my grandma loved it! I'll definitely be coming back for more orchids in the future! read more

Love love love this little hidden gem The store is mostly orchids but they also have a big selection of healthy succulents/cacti & also bamboo. I originally came to this area looking for another store to buy some succulents but I seen this store from across the street and had to check it out. I've never been to the flower district so I wasn't really sure what to anticipate as far as pricing but I was surprised it was SO cheap. Everything in the picture cost $12. I wanted to buy way more than I did but I'm already short on space for my plants lol. I will definitely come back to this shop whenever I'm in LA again. This area is super busy though I would suggest try parking in a parking garage or ubering because you won't find street parking. read more

We search High and Low in the Downtown area for a rustic cake/cupcake stand. At first we were directed from a girl at a flower shop to go around to a graffiti alley and we would find a guy that makes wood items to your liking. We came across a homeless person that told us he would be back in a moment that he was out on delivery but he also began to refer us to another guy named Antonio who was around the corner of the alley (This felt like the beginning of a horror movie). The homeless guy knew that we were not going to follow him down the alley so he told his buddy another guy that took us to Antonio in the public area where there were more people around. We finally got to Antonio who was behind an unmarked gray door. Antonio told us he didn't specialize in rustic wooden cake/cupcake stands he only made the manzanita trees. He did however tell us that what we were looking for we would find through another flower shop down the street. Antonio stated that the shop is on the left side and she is a Korean flower shop owner. That she would have the cake stands already made. We proceeded walking down to the other shop and came across it unfortunately, the ones they had were not the ones we wanted (priced at about $55). So we were about to go home until we seen some displays across the street and happen to go into Lee's orchid shop. We met a Mr. Chang who helped us build our own cake stand. We selected all the pieces and showed him a picture of how I wanted it and Emmanuel made it for us in 30mins. at a very low reasonable price. After all the adventure we went through in the end it was well worth it. I recommend this flower shop. Exceptional customer service and they have Parking in the back. Thank you for all your help! read more

My husband surprised me with an arrangement here, and we also came here to buy my mother-in-law one as an easter gift. The orchid arrangements here are beautiful. I thought they seemed a little pricey but apparently orchids are expensive and you can expect to pay about half what you would pay other places according to hubby who is a big orchid fan. For a small arrangement, expect $20-40, medium $50-60, and large arrangement or one with any particular kind of unique colored orchids will be $80-110. There are some VERY unique colors here. The arrangements come with a very nice pot, some plants or succulents at the bottom and moss arranged. Would come back here if looking for another gift or house-warming present. read more

Since I needed to get out for the afternoon I decided to go over to lee's orchids and check them out. They have a nice selection of cymbidium and phalaenopsis starter plants with prices around $7-8 dollars. It's not the biggest place I've seen but it was a little over 19min walk from the 7th street metro station. For those into larger formal arrangements there were plenty of those. The one plants that caught my eyes were cymbidium the color of turquoise which I told they injected ink to get that color read more

I have recently been into house plants so I've been doing a lot of research on where to buy indoor plants. I read that the LA Flower Market is a great place to buy succulents because it's cheaper. So I checked out the market and did not find any succulents that stood out. So I walked around the entire block to look for house plants and finally stumbled upon Lee's Orchids. When I first walked in I thought the shop only sold orchids but they actually sell a lot of different types of succulents and indoor plants. I purchased a maranta leuconeura, monstera deliciosa, perforata, graptosedum, and sedum rubrotinctum. The workers in the shop were very helpful too. They made sure I got what I wanted. Next time I come back I want to buy a rubber plant cause it's only $4 here! read more

Great prices and great services. I always go and replace all my orchids in my house every couple of months.

My brother/sister in law had an open house warming party and I had special ordered a bunch of large size orchids in planters as a gift for them. Got a great deal and service from Linda. She did a superb job on all the decorations. They looked like hotel styles. Also got personal service from her husband delivering them. Would not hesitate coming back for my special needs and gifts. We used Lee's Orchids (they own many of the surrounding orchid shops by the way) for our wedding reception centerpieces because we wanted our guests to be able to take something home with them that they could enjoy for a good long while. Lee's offers a large selection of orchids and the wife and I spent a LOT of time trying to figure out pricing and the arrangements we wanted. First off, let me say that the arrangements were simply beautiful. Our guests really vied for the opportunity to take them home and seemed very happy with them. Yay Lee's. Michelle helped us and she was nice. Now for the less than stellar parts: 1) they called a few days before our reception and mentioned that they didn't have orchids in good condition in the colors that my wife and I took sooooo long in choosing out. So we had to scramble over there and figure out what to do. 2) they told us they would deliver the flowers and help us place them on the tables. We walked to the restaurant and they were all placed on the floor in a bunch. Scramble to place them on said tables. 3) we ordered all double stemmed orchids except for the 2 main tables, but only single stemmed orchids were delivered (hello price difference). They failed to let us know that. I just happened to pay attention. If we hadn't encountered the problems 1, 2, and 3, I think I would have given 5 stars to Lee's. I did call in to ask about the price difference and had to chase them to get some of the money back. I hate to squabble and haggle because they really did give us some very pretty orchids. read more

I found Lee's Orchids by coincidence and I'm glad I did. They have the freshest, fullest bloomed orchids and their prices are very reasonable. I change my orchids out in my loft and offices every 4-5 months and so far this place has the best prices. I also recently dropped in to get a special orchid arrangement for a client and Heidi was awesome. She made some suggestions and had my arrangement ready in about 10 minutes! I was in a rush to get to set so it was perfect! read more

Lee's Orchids - My double flower orchid in my loft living room still blooming beautifully after 2 months. Best price for this one $12.99 - Florists Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Great selection but extremely expensive to get an arrangement done. Two stems, a pot, and labor was almost $50. The two stems were $13 total, the pot was $8, and the rest was labor to put it together. It just doesn't make sense. The arrangement was beautifully done but not worth the price. I'm going to stick to Pac 8 Orchids in Palrms for now on. They are 50% off to get the same orchids and arrangement done. read more

There are a few stores in the flower district that carry the Lee's Orchids name. Most of the people who work there are super nice and courteous. There is one Korean lady however, who ruined my entire view of Lee's. I walked in and immediately she said "you need to put your bag on the table!" while displaying a glaring grimace. I walked around to where they had variegated houseplants I wanted and she said "you can't go back there!" Then I walked back to the front and saw a Vanda Orchid. When I asked how much it was she said "it's not for sale". I then realized I was unwelcome so just left. It is a terrible business plan to have that lady working for you. The other Korean ladies were bright, pleasant, and appreciative of business but this lady ruins your entire image. read more

Came here a little over 2 weeks ago to buy some succulents for a terrarium I was planning to make for mothers day. The price of the succulents in the small pots are all a dollar, while the larger pots are 3 dollars. In my opinion, the pricing is fairly reasonable. The succulents are healthy and thriving beautifully in the terrarium!! The orchids are also very healthy as well. I bought a small purple orchid plant for 7 dollars last year in December, and the plant is still growing and blooming. read more

This is long overdue, but Sara from Lee's Orchids saved my wedding, and not only were the flowers GORGEOUS but Sara's service and organization went way beyond our expectations. My husband and I found ourselves in a tight situation really close to our wedding date, and Sara stepped up to take on this enormous challenge on such a tight turnaround. She basically told us to not worry about it, and with all the craziness of the wedding I felt so comfortable leaving my wedding flowers in her hands. Sara was so organized and so responsive over phone/email, and was there on-site the day of the wedding. I couldn't believe how beautiful and perfect her flowers were, and all the flowers were in their place on the wedding day. She knew exactly what flowers were appropriate for the wedding event, and I was so nicely surprised to see the lace/burlap combination in the flowers/boutinnieres, which were a perfect touch for our garden/outdoor wedding. I can't say enough amazing things about Sara and Lee's Orchids, and would highly recommend anyone to use them if you're looking for a reliable, organized, highly professional florist who arranges the most beautiful flowers [with amazing delivery and setup service!]. read more

So Kindness store ever. I went lee orchid for buying some white & yellow orchid. On saturday, there were many people & crowded however they answered me very kindly. They have various kinds of natural orchid & the prices are reasonable. But the arrangements are expensive than natural ones. We worked with Andy and Jihye to have orchid centerpieces arranged (orchid plants put in special-ordered ceramic imitation-bark pots with natural moss and curly willow), delivered and set up at our wedding venue the day of. The quality of service was spectacular and the centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous and very reasonably priced. We would absolutely book with them again! They charged 1/3 of what another florist wanted, which we absolutely could not afford, so we had the first florist do our personal flowers and went with Lee's for centerpieces, which looked incredible. I just had all my wedding flowers done for a big wedding reception by Lee's Orchids and it was the best decision I've ever made. I am extremely snobby when coming to flower arrangements. Not only did they make beautiful, heavenly, astounding arrangements, but they were on time and put in all of their effort and more. I was so impressed by their services I actually decided to blow the deposit money I put down with a different florist to go with this place. Their event designer florist has been working for more than 30 years, and their sample blew me away. Their flowers on the actual wedding day far surpassed the beauty of the samples, which I thought could not be prettier. You can tell them what you want, and they work with your budget and are very accomodating. I called them practically every day and they kept updating orders for me on a timely basis, and were always available to talk with me. I had rented some centerpieces and had them decorate beautiful gold trees, and their artistic beauty (Jihye and other ladies) is just genius. Everyone kept asking who my florist was, and everyone was taking pictures with the flowers and centerpieces. Also, orchids are super expensive as a flower, but this place is an orchid wholesaler so you can add them in for cheaper than other stores! love love love!!! BTW I went to other florists in the LA flower district that are highly skilled and professional, and other places wanted to charge me almost twice as much as this place did. thats many thousands of dollars saved. I think the most important aesthetic factor of the wedding are the flowers and the decorations, and that's what Lee's Orchids fulfilled. They totally made the night. I will upload pics as soon as i get them, but honestly, I have looked through more than 40 bridal magazines and chose the prettiest flower pictures from "Ceremony," but my flower arrangements were the prettier than all of them!! All my bridesmaids and guests agree. They're just magical. I was able to bring back some centerpieces to my home and I just spend time enjoying a cup of tea sitting in front of them, and it makes my heart whole and happy. Hahaha. I had no idea flowers can have such an effect. I love them. Please book them. It will be the best decision you ever made. * Say you want some flower arrangement done that you saw from a bridal magazine. You may find other florists in the LA downtown area that claim to be able to do the arrangements you want, but trust me. most of them CAN'T. This place CAN and do at a very very good price. read more

Great selection and really well priced. Most of the larger orchids are $15 including the ones with double stems! I can't speak to the price of the arrangements, but the orchids themselves are almost half the price of Pac 8. I bought 6 double stem phals for less than $100. You can hardly find double stems at Trader Joe's ($13 ea) and they aren't as good quality. read more
