Brought both of my boys (ages 6 and 1.5) in for a haircut with Noe today. He was awesome! I had kind of managed on my own in the last year at home but they were in need of a proper cut! Noe was great with both of them and really took his time. They both have very different types of hair in both texture and quantity, so it was awesome that he did a great job with both based on what they each needed. We will definitely be coming back! I've been going to Lee's for 4 years now and let me tell you I would never go anywhere else. Sylvia knows what I like and I've never had a complaint with the haircut I get. I get a 0-2 fade and it looks clean every time. They're under new ownership so they're remodeling and renovating the barbershop. It looks clean and modern so far, and I'm sure there are more renos to come. They've done a great job with keeping the place clean and safe. They've put up barriers between each station and everyone in the shop is wearing a mask. read more

Overpriced for what I was looking for which is what I got done there: 3-1/2 on the sides, trim the top and blend it in. Took about 5 min which is about right and when they told me it cost 20 something dollars almost soiled myself. I haven't paid over $10 for a haircut in my life and was schooled they could charge that much for 5 min of buzzing a few hairs. The lady who did me up was a mute as well..I think this places is more for the guys who need their sh*t tight all the time or want Justin bieber styling done to them...not for the average haircut. This place is so great that I came all the way out to Naperville from downtown Chicago to get my hair mowed! Psych! I had to be in the area on the Tuesday afternoon before Thanksgiving. I was killing a little time at the Starbucks. I remembered that I needed a haircut, and I wanted to be presentable to have some respect for the bird I was looking forward to eating. A quick look at Yelp and - lo and behold, Lee's was just a hop, skip and not even a jump away. Love the old school. Real barber pole, real barber chairs, real lack of atmosphere. My kind of barbershop. I made a little small talk, got my hair mowed to a number 2 length, and went on my merry way. Friendly, capable woman who even remembered to give me back my glasses before she put the mirror up to see the back. The price is cheap, yet a bit (well, six bills) more than my guy in Bridgeport, and he gives a hot lather neck shave. Then again, Naperville ain't Bridgeport; so you gotta pay. Hey, you try finding a lot big enough to tear-down the bungalow and erect a McMansion in Bridgeport! Someone has to support the businesses that help pay for the high taxes for the schools out here! read more

Manly, affordable, and friendly. All the things a good barber shop should be. Since leaving Rick Motta's behind (see my other review), I found Mike. He's got great steady hands, and he does a fine job of cutting and shaving. Incidentally, gentlemen, if you've never had a proper barber shave. . . you should be deeply ashamed of yourself. Like learning to drive or sneaking out of the house (as a wayward teenager) it's a rite of passage. I used to come here all the time and the barbers were always very precise with their cuts. But I recently came here and asked for my usual, which is a 1/2 - 2 fade on the sides and very light trim on the top, keeping it a little under 2 inches length. The fade was great, but she ended up chopping around half of the length of my hair off the top, much more than a minor trim. This was after I made it a point that I keep the top at around 2 inches, but she didn't seem to care about that number. So if you come here, I'd highly recommend that you emphasize what you want multiple times and be very detailed, or they may not listen (although I'm not sure how much more detailed I could've been myself). read more

I have been going to the same hair stylist since 1999 and have been having a hard time getting an appointment over the last couple months due to a back injury and the fact that she is an hour drive for me. It must have been 7-8 months since my last haircut and I started getting into mullet territory so I knew it was beyond time. I found Lee's through Yelp and went in to get a cut from Mike. I found out they only take cash or check so I had to bail and get some green. I came back, Mike's seat was open, and down I sat. It seemed like only a few minutes and he was done. I work in the Naperville area and was looking for a place to cut my hair. After going on Yelp and looking at what people paid for their hair cuts I was shocked to see people paying upwards of fifty dollars. At Lee's, they do a great job of cutting hair and it is inexpensive (only 16 bucks) and for Naperville, that's a steal. Having recently gotten out of the military I was having trouble to find a barber shop that can cut hair the way I like it. Luckily I found Lee's Barber Shop on yelp and I'm so grateful. They do an outstanding job here and it is exactly the type of place I was looking for. I have had my haircut by every person that works here and every time it was exactly as I wanted, if not better. Found this place after going to many other pricier less consistent shops in the area. This barbershop is easily the best in the Naperville area, and I wish I would have found it sooner. Quality good looking cuts. I have been going here for about three months now and have always gotten a great haircut. It's a friendly environment and they get the job done. Lee's is overall a great place to go. Their haircuts are consistent and precise. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. The even have FREE beer, how can you beat that! I like this place so much that I even brought my 14 year old nephew here for his first "man's haircut at a man's barbershop". Mike always cuts my hair and he's the owner, where do you find that anymore?
