He has a remarkable ability to meet each child where they are while still encouraging them to grow, challenge themselves, and believe in what they're capable of. My son is gaining so much more than karate skills...he's building confidence, resilience, discipline, and self-esteem. It may not be fancy, but I'm not there to put on a show--I'm there to train. I've seen some negative reviews mentioning freeloaders and race issues, but I've never witnessed anything like that. There are signs posted everywhere regarding gym rules. It's a great place for both beginners and advanced lifters, with plenty of equipment, open 24/7, and no hidden fees.

I was greeted immediately upon entering by the girl behind the counter. I went over to pay my day pass fee (only $5) and the owner/manager (not sure) came over to start speaking with me about where I'm from and what I'm looking to do. He gave me a quick tour around the place, there are about 4 rooms of equipment, lots of nice pieces, plate loaded and pin loaded. The people working out were all respectful and friendly. All were at various levels of fitness. Everyone seemed to wipe down their machines when done, so everything felt clean. Not everything is brand new, so it's not a fancy state of the art gym. But the vibe is perfect for me. It is very unique compared to other gyms I've been to, including a disco ball hanging from the ceiling in the main room. The decor varied from sports memorabilia, to bodybuilding posters, to an MTV logo and an M&M stand for towels. Pretty cool place. There isn't a lot of space to maneuver b/c of how full they have it with equipment. It's really a minor thing, and I do prefer the extra options for equipment, over the extra space for walking around. But just know that it's crammed for space. I will likely be back for another work trip, and will definitely stop in at Fit Body U again.

It was a very warm October day, leaves were changing all around us and we were all gathered at this center in the middle of nowhere. It is seriously in BUFU! We got out of the car and it was so silent that it was almost eery. The space inside the center is very outdoorsy complete with stuffed animals on the walls and in display cases. Slightly disturbing to see while eating but what can you do. The back area looks really cool from inside but as soon as you step outside you can expect to be swarmed by mosquito's and covered with bites within seconds. Aside from that, the staff member at the center was pretty nice and willing to tell you all about the fish in the tanks, etc. Overall, good low key place to host a low maintenance family gathering.

There is no longer consistency between classes. You may feel like you gotten a really good workout one day to go back the next and be completely let down.
