I love this place!! This was a great choice and so convenient between work and home. My son is learning so much daily. Good behavior, communication, accountability. And of course the academics. Great staff , both my kids have attended Kiddie Kare house since they were first born and other child since 2 years old , my older son did his kindergarten placement for school and passed above average , the pre k program taught him many things most kids needed work on , he knew his full abc's and knew how to write his full name after leaving pre-k , they have a great app to communicate with teachers and send pictures to keep you up to date with your child , thank you to all the staff On another note any kind of child care assistance program issue is full responsibility of the "PARENT" and not the daycare , if you have issues with that it is on the county you live in , and there's no need to put a bad review on the facility who does not control any part of that !!! read more

After telling the assistant director and Tania the owner that my child has a formal autism diagnosis, I was given an enrollment packet and told that my child could start on the following Tuesday. The classroom teacher called 2 days later to ask if my child was potty trained and I explained to her that due to his cognitive limitations listed in his ASD diagnosis, he does not learn things like potty training at the rate of a typical child. She then told me they would not be willing to accept him in the program anymore. I sent an email to the director Tania highlighting the DCFS policy that states that reasonable accommodations must be made for children with disabilities and that they cannot use screening tools (i.e. potty training for developmentally delayed children) that weed out children with disabilities. Tania then called me to say that she was "puzzled" as to why I was sending her this policy (which was unprofessional and snarky language but nevertheless,) She claimed that they were not discriminating against him but I explained to her that if his potty training is limited by his learning disability, this is discrimination. If every center didn't accept unpotty trained children where would children with mental impairment get childcare? Outside of cognitive impairments, my child does not have behavioral issues and is a happy, playful child. If you have a child with a disability, please do not send them to this center. Another parent on Google had a very similar experience where the director gave her the run around after telling her that her child had a developmental delay. This is heartbreaking and unacceptable. I repeatedly asked if they would comply with DCFS licensing policy and make an accommodation, and they made the excuse that there were no toilets or sinks in the classroom. My mother politely called to ask if accommodations could be made for my child and the assistant director hung up in her face. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The director called my mother to say that we were basically doing too much because shes a "small business". I will be making a formal complaint against this center. DCFS policy is there to protect children who have disabilities from this type of disgusting, ghetto, uneducated behavior from "business owners". Absolutely love everything about Kiddie Karehouse. The staff are all friendly and patient. I am 100% comfortable with knowing my son is well taken care of, and he loves everyone there. My son has been going here since he was 6 months and he is now 16 months. I was searching for a daycare high and low and was not successful, I finally found kiddie KAREHOUSE called Mrs.Tania picked up she was so warming on the phone and told me to come at 7 so she could give me and my mom a tour. I instantly knew that was the school for us and I enrolled him. I love all the staff there everyone is so warm and nice I mean everyone! If I could give 20 stars I would. Omg ms Mel Ms mel and Ms tammye in the infant room I love them sooooo much my son is no longer with them and I'm sad ..he recently transition to first street which is the 1 year old room, but either way I know he will be loved just as much because Kiddie KAREHOUSE has great staff! read more

EDIT: since your posting my financial situation instead of calling me. I'm glad my children are no longer going to this unprofessional establishment. I can't receive unemployment while employed. My last payment from unemployment was July. When I actually was unemployed. So no I wasn't getting unemployment and a paycheck. If I never got hired for my job my kids wouldn't need childcare because I was a stay at home mom. My caseworker called me well before my kids started here and asked why didn't I notify her on my unemployment ending. So that was a mistake on childcare not me. Because I had no proof of the payment for unemployment. Secondly. When I met with Danielle for the initial tour and even in the application pay was never discussed. Until their first day and I was told the copay until approval was $100 per week. So I assumed that was the regular payment. I also stated I called childcare myself and was told if the denial the day prior to your phone call. I had already paid the week before I knew this. I never was told until the phone call on 9/23/2021 of what the actual pay was for my children and I stated this. You took it how you wanted to. I was at work and dealing with my childrens father getting injured at work. I've been in contact with you all since this whole ordeal so please stop lying to save face. I only stopped contacting about it because of the fact you wouldn't work with me unless I had an approval. You know that childcare is backed up with applicants. So you know I've been waiting for the approval. My case won't be touched until Monday. So that is why it's still no approval they were working on dates before I sent in the payment information. I've been calling them every week since everything happened. You dealt with this whole situation terribly and I want people to know that you only care about pay for your employees. If this ever happens to someone else they have been warned. Look at how the director is addressing a parent. Who had to go public with my issue with them because trying to handle things privately got me no where. I signed up my two littles and they started going to daycare here. I never received any information regarding the fees for my littles to be here despite signing up for the assistance program. My application was denied because action for children had the wrong information and my children were told they wouldn't be coming back. The center was willing to work with me but ultimately didn't work with me. They knew I was waiting for an approval with action for children, filled the spot for my youngest. Now I'll be approved for their center but now how to change providers because they couldn't wait for something that was out of my control. Had I known the cost up front I would've explored my options. The cost isn't in the application and wasn't told to me on their first day. I was only told about the copay that I was required to pay pending the approval. The director Tania assumed I didn't want to pay the required pay to support her staff but that was not the case, I didn't know. If you're thinking of sending your kids here. Get all the information upfront. If you're applying for childcare please make sure they get the right information because they will remove your kids from the program and although they will tell you, you can bring them back once you receive an approval they will fill your spot. I really liked this place but I'll never give them any money how they treated me because of a mistake that I didn't even make. read more

Most importantly, this facility has developed an environment that feels safe! I'm so pleased with our decision to allow our child to come here versus so many other places. I want to share feedback on Kiddie Karehouse and specifically Tania Davis. Friday was such a sad day because it was my twins last day at Kiddie Karehouse because are moving out of the area. I knew the day would come when they would have to leave Tee Tee (that's what they call Tania), but I didn't know that it would be this hard. We even put off moving for a year because we didn't want go take the kids out of Tania's daycare. I cried, my husband cried and Tania cried. I truly believe that people come into your life for a reason. Tania was the blessing that we needed. Our girls have been with Tania since they were almost 4 months old. She has loved and nurtured them since day one. The first year being a new mom/twin mom/working mom was extremely difficult. I felt like I was drowning most days, but Tania was there every day giving me a piece of mind that my girls were being cared for. Tania shared her experience with me when my kids were sick. Tania was there to cheer me on when I felt like a failure as a mom. It's weird because today after I dropped them at their new daycare I cried in the parking lot for 20 minutes. I thought back to the first day I dropped them with Tania. I didn't cry. I remember feeling comfortable with her abilities to care for my babies. I felt genuine warmth from her. I also remember thinking that she could protect my babies because she was a former police officer lol. I'm sorry for the long post, but I had to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for Tania. Also her staff specifically Ms. Angie and Ms. Rosemary. The owner is very unprofessional, she treats her workers bad. She don't appreciate hard workers. Daycare is not clean all the time. She struggles with keeping workers at her establishment. You should look for other daycare if you want good services. read more

My twins have been attending Kiddie Karehouse since they were 12 months old. Now, they are 2.5 years old. They know their alphabet, numbers, and other subjects that will fully prepare them for kindergarten. Also, my children literally run into their teachers arms every morning and are playfully greeted by their classmates. With a bright/clean environment and a curriculum set by their teachers, my children are getting the education, both academically and socially, that any parent would love. (FYI: My son, who is on the autism spectrum, was given a teacher with special needs experience and a space in which he can receive early intervention/therapy.) If you want an organized, caring, and creative place for your child(ten), bring them to Kiddie Karehouse!!! read more
