Recommended by a friend who said that he knew he needed to have his transmission rebuilt, and decided to try his luck with Lee Transmission. He said that they did honest work with honest prices, and where they COULD have soaked him and said something needed repaired or severely drove the price up, they did NOT. I met the owner (?) ahead of time, and I was assured they are a complete shop and can do anything for your vehicle, but specialize in transmissions. I gave them a shot for some replacement transmission lines, a flush, filter, and fluid. Again, they COULD have said that I needed much more than I did, but they did not. The prices were kept fair and the work was solid. I even brought in another vehicle for a complete brake job, to include new rotors all around. It ended up being more than expected, but still pretty fair, as I know parts for that vehicle can be pricy. Still, it was done in a day. In both instances, they kept in great communication and went above and beyond to help me get paid up and get my vehicles back. I've finally found a good, local, mechanic. Christian does not stand by his companies work!! I would not recommend. They don't pay attention to the small details and just throw bandages on repairs. I would not waste your time or money here. You will be back within months and they will give you the same run around about how it wasn't their fault even after they sell you on a warranty and guarantee their work. All around great shop, this was my first time having to bring my truck to a shop and was very pleased with the service, I brought my 2004 Chevy Silverado in the middle of the holidays and they where still able to have the my transmission rebuilt, new rear main seal, and shift linkage in under 2 weeks and comes with a year warranty on everything, the guy working in the office is very responsive and sent good photos of problems they found while installing, I would recommend this shop to anyone that has any issues with their vehicles read more

Avoid at all costs. My transmission went on my car so I called 5 transmission places to get an estimate. This company was $100 cheaper than the other estimates. My other estimates were from garages all within one mile radius from my car where Lee Transmissions is out in Lehigh Acres about 18 miles away. I asked exact questions to everyone. The other companies said 5-7 days to repair. Lee Transmission told me they had the transmission in stock and they could install within one day. They told me to have my car towed over. Knowing that most transmission shops act like vultures because they know you are in a bind and they promise you the world and rarely deliver on their promise, I decided to test Will. The next day I contact him via email to get him to say in an email that he would guarantee one day turnaround on my car like he promised over the phone. I said to him if he doesn't fix my car within the time promised he would pay me $50 a day for a rental car. I wanted it all in writing. If Will is a legit honest business owner he would have Zero issues with backing up his own words in writing. Sadly that was far from the case. Will changed his tune right away and said that is not how this works. He said we have transmissions in stock as a convenience to our customers but we need at least 7 days to install it. BAAM. WILL IS CAUGHT IN MY VULTURE WEB WITH HIS LIE. Caught red handed in his lie. Dishonest, Dishonest, Dishonest, Dishonest, Dishonest! Now after reading this you make up your own mind if this is an honest operation. Don't take your truck here unless you want it in worse condition than you had it going in. Unreliable and unknowledgeable. Claimed there was an issue on my truck that wasn't the case. Took it elsewhere to take a second look and they confirmed that Lee Transmission was just causing more damage than good. Don't recommend!!! read more

I'm 1000% sure this is the right place , I have the receipt, they honored the warranty but In doing so , first transmission didnt last 6 months first rebuild for 1700$ then after taking it back and then honoring there warranty they damaged it even more . read more

Hands down one of the most honest shops I've ever been too. They should be called honest auto repair and everyone should give them one shot, they will earn your business. They could have hit me with a nice price tag but rather took care of me and treated me like i knew them for years. The guy at the counter Will is a trusted and tried dude. I just moved to FL 2 months ago. Yesterday mornong out of no where my cars gas pedal got locked down and I couldn't even turn the car on without it reving to 7000 rpm. I had it towed to this shop only cause it was local the reviews didn't look bad but I never expected them to be looking out for me the way they did. After a day they called and told me that the pedal wasn't stuck anymore and I could pick it up. My first thought was how much is this going to set me back expected like most auto shops they only care about what they can make off you. Not this place. They said we didn't need to change anything the pedal released. I was mentally dredding but prepared to spend 500 easy to replace a throttle body or some sensor. Nope he said we couldn't get the problem to happen again and didnt need to so he he was going to charge me for a small diagnostic charge. When I went to pick it up he told me to forget the charge just to write a review or tell my friends. OF COURSE! The way they handled a situation they could have taken advantage of me shows me how they conduct business. I will be referring everyone I know to you. In that one experience I can tell you that Will and Lee Transmission and Auto Repair has earned my business for life. Had an extremely horrible experience with these guys had my car a week longer than told and hacked my car up without calling me and was shifting worse then before i dropped it off .in the end they fixed the shifting problem but did an half ass job of putting thing back as they were thank god i work at a shop and decided to put it on lift had to zip tie wires and hoses out of the way had wires rubbing front drive shaft. Aftermarket transcooler rubbing my hood latch took an hour no lie an hour to fix odd and ends ...oh an cut my exhaust clamp and did not replace still have to do that so beware read more

Made the HUGE mistake of using them because they were $300 less for a job when I called around. What a nightmare! I won't get into the entire story but they are completely incompetent to work on anyone's vehicles. Read the reviews here and on google. They should be put out of business permanently. I read where they were actually on the news for blowing long up a car and it catching fire! Seriously, how are these guys still in business?!?! And Will the front desk manager or whomever he is, treats you like gold until he gets your money. They have actually caused me extra issues on my car that NEVER existed before I brought it in. And then thought I would have them repair that. Complete crooks, pure and simple. Do yourself a favor and find a REPUTABLE mechanic. You may pay a little extra, but save so much in the long run. Untrustworthy, incompetent, and a waste of time. Terrible shop, go anywhere else. I took my Volkswagen to get it serviced before I took it to school. The brakes bolts and transmission fluid needed to be repaired and changed. My window stopped working it needed a new motor got that. They took longer to fix it due to wrong sizing for the window motor. My bill was reduced due to the above fact. They were able to complete my bolts, fluid and the motor was installed. HOWEVER, it was not connected this also caused my convertible top to also stop working. It had worked prior to arriving in the shop. I called the next week to get the wiring work completed and told it was not possible to get it worked on that week and to drop it off the next week. I dropped off my car July 24 and was told it would be more than ready Wednesday July 26. I call around 2pm to be told it has NOT been worked on and may not be worked on at all that week. Then asked when is the latest I would need it by which is today July 3. Sure enough I get called Monday July 1 that they will start to work on it and get it ready by Wednesday. During that call they tried to tell me I have to pay for the motor piece since it got destroyed in the fire, which is a LIE because it had already been installed when I picked it up July 12. I would love to leave a decent review considering the fire but they WASTED my time. I waited two weeks for it to be serviced and then to find out another have week later they were not able to fix it. MY CAR BLEW UP AND BURNED UP IN A BIG BALL OF FIRE AT THEIR SHOP !!!!! (First of all, the young man that was hurt in the fire, these comment do not refer to you. We wish you well.) I HOPE EVERYONE CAREFULLY READS THESE COMMENT BEFORE TAKING YOU CAR TO THIS PLACE: I had a check engine light come on in February. Not sure if they did a computer check before hand or not on the car. But they replaced the entire transmission and I am sure it needed it. Still didn't work. So they replaced the entire transmission again. Still didn't work. After my car sat at their shop for MONTHS (FEB, MAR APR, MAY, JUNE), in June they finally found it was a bad computer. We called them weekly to ask if the car was fixed for all those months. And they kept telling us that they were "busy: They were not too busy to take our money when we first brought our car in to them. But now that the car was in for warranty work things were different. We feel that when they got our money and we needed warranty work, they did not take time to fix the car and put it on the back burner for months. Then the gas in the car was bad, maybe because the car was sitting there for so long at their shop for months!!! Gas can start to go bad after 30 days according to google. And it was much longer than 30 days. Not sure why it takes a shop so long to fix a car!!! I MEAN MONTHS MY CAR WAS SITTING THERE AT THEIR SHOP!!! I THOUGHT THEY ADVERTIVED AS BEING A "SPECIALIZED SHOP", BUT THEY HAD A VERY HARD TIME FIGURING OUT BASIC PROBLEMS IN MY OPPINION. WE QUESTION IF THEY REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Then the fuel injectors were bad or got clogged up along with the fuel pump (Both happened to go bad on the same day), maybe from that bad gas from the car sitting there so long. Then when they were replacing the bad fuel pump MY CAR BLEW UP AND BURNED UP IN A BIG BALL OF FIRE AT THIER SHOP !!!!! They had an "accident" or did something wrong when they were replacing my fuel pump. I believe the fire report stated the car battery was not disconnected!!! The fire was reported on wink news!!! Other cars in the shop blew up and burned after my car. Now seven weeks have gone by since the fire and we still do not have a check in hand for my burned up car totally destroyed and is now a scrap pile of sheet metal! I know they may place blame on the insurance company and I', sure they will. But I do not see them taking responsibly for their actions. And if there insurance policy was limited to a dollar amount, then they should pay the remaining amount to cover the customer loss. But we do not see they are willing to do so. In addition, MY CAR WAS VERY NICE IN NEAR SHOW ROOM CONDITION AND MY CAR AND ONLY HAD 55,000 MILES ON IT. So we will not let them try to blame it on the condition of the car. So they may try to blame it on the car, or their insurance company or even the customer, but we will not let them. And how stupid would that be anyway? Plus not happy with what we feel like is a low ball settlement of only $4500. It is now August and I brought my car to them in February!!!! That's over six months without our car!!! Cheap rental cars charge $150 a week and that can add up fast. It is very hard for our family as we need that car!!! These guys are by far the most incompetent mechanics I have ever dealt with in over 50 years of living!!! In addition I found them to be rude, argumentative, lacking in taking responsibility for their actions and lacking basic customer service. They are very uneducated in all levels in my opinion.
