I was able to get an appointment the day after calling, which was amazing in and of itself, but the experience was even more amazing when we actually went for our visit. Jay in the front is such a ray of sunshine. She actually lifted my spirit on a bit of a challenging day for me. She was so warm and friendly. Her energy was contagious. The whole front office staff were so nice to my daughter, complimenting her and just making her feel seen. Our wait time was next to nothing in the front and even when we were taken to the back to wait for Dr. Shraga. He was immediately able to diagnose and put my daughter on a treatment plan. I can't rave enough about our experience from beginning to end. Thank you!

The building is big and easy to spot, conveniently located off Exit 10 from Route 287. The parking lot is huge. Signs in the building lobby were easy to follow and I quickly found the dermatologist office on the second floor. The staff at the front desk greeted me pleasantly and efficiently entered my information into the computer. I was brought into an exam room right at my appointment time, no waiting! I liked both of the doctors who did my exam today, Dr. Wassef and Dr. Milgraum. They were both knowledgeable, warm, and had a good sense of humor, and listened to all of my questions. I felt very comfortable with both of them and plan to remain a patient here. This facility is bright and clean, and looks like it was recently renovated. It was an inviting space to be in. They accept my insurance so I only had to pay $15 on the way out.

My appointment with Vasselia Kosovoff was the worst medical experience I ever had. She stood across…read morethe room and seemed afraid to get close to examine me. I understand that people have concerns about Covid but we both had good masks on and I followed every precaution. She never gave me a proper examination. I felt that she just brushed me off and wanted to get the hell out of the room. In addition, they made repeated billing errors and I haven't been able to find someone there to correct it. Now they send me bills for something that I paid in full when service was rendered. I would NOT recommend her or Rutgers Dermatology to anyone. Spare yourself needless hassles and avoid this place like the plague.

I decided to come here for my own care. I was very impressed by Dr Sutton. She is very warm and friendly. She answered all of my questions, and gave me a good plan to follow. I never felt rushed. I was given an appointment for two weeks later, to get the results and talk about treatment. On my way to the appointment I checked my messages and they left a message saying there was an issue with my biopsy. I called the office and they said the lab said there was not enough sample to get an accurate read, and that I would need to do the biopsy again.. I was like what? I thought I was going there to get my results, not to have the same painful thing done to me again, and band aid on my face again for a week. I cancelled my appointment and will never go back there. Unfortunately I have to have a biopsy again, there is no other choice, but definitely not there.

They deleted my Google review... so here it is again:…read more I had a very negative experience at this laser hair removal med spa and ultimately decided to stop going. During one of my sessions, I was severely burned in a specific area, which was very painful. The injury made me lose trust in the amount of safety I had during treatments. I am unsure still why it occurred because I was told that the puss open wound, was due to a hair that was ingrown and became infected... which I quickly learned was not what was going on. In addition, I felt uncomfortable with the staffing of technicians situation. While many other females worked there, there was only one laser technician available, and he was male. He performs Brazilian laser hair removal on female clients, but when I checked the website after a few treatments and curiosity, did not offer the same service to male clients, which in hindsight sight felt unprofessional and inappropriate to me being that if a female wants a Brazilian, she has no choice but to have a male technician. An hour before my appointments, I applied numbing cream on my bikini line and my entire Brazilian area with plastic wrap over the areas. At the beginning of my appointment, he wiped my numbing cream off from my Brazilian area very invasively without even asking if I was okay with that or giving me the option if I could wipe it myself before the lasering. The reason could be so he removes all of the product off completely before lasering, but with ONLY a male tech available and as a female patient who is basically blindfolded being touched in that vulnerable way, I should have 100% been given more options for my comfort. I was asked to remove my bra while wearing a medical gown that opens in the front. The laser treatment was only for my underarms, and the area was fully accessible through the sides/sleeves of the gown. There was no medical reason for me to remove my bra. As a result, my chest was exposed, which made me feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. This situation felt completely unnecessary, and it could have been easily avoided. Between the physical injury and the discomfort surrounding the treatment environment, I chose not to return again. I would strongly encourage others considering this spa to think about your comfortability levels when getting vulnerable areas lasered by a male technician, to ask detailed questions about safety protocols, and how client comfort is prioritized before making an appointment.
