He didn't wear a mask the entire time. He yelled at my elderly mother for missing an appointment. Note that my mother has early dementia. She did not remember her appointment and Dr. Lee's office also did not call us to confirm the appointment. I asked for her prescription refill for her dementia since he had already seen her six months prior. He refused and continued on his tirade screaming about how his office will have to conduct tests again and complete paperwork for her insurance and how "complicated" it is. Isn't that what medical offices are required to do?? He also told me to put my mother in a nursing home just because her memory has deteriorated a bit. He also yells, screaming for his staff through the closed door until someone comes running. The front desk staff also yells at patients. I was shocked to hear the front desk woman yelling at an elderly patient that the elderly patient is making her work complicated. She continued to scream at the patient to decide on the date of her next appointment. It was all surreal! I couldn't believe this was the treatment my mother had been receiving in her past visits. I was in shock the entire time and asked for my mother's prescription so we could finally leave. The doctor insisted we go to the pharmacy they recommend, which is inconvenient for us. I politely asked for the prescription repeatedly so we could go to our preferred pharmacy till finally the doctor said it was a nuisance and time consuming for them to hand write the script. They wanted us to just go with their pharmacy since it's easier for them since that pharmacy had the prescriptions! They just didn't want to make the effort and everything is about what is convenient to them only! I have never experienced such an unprofessional and rude practice, ever!

He was very unsympathetic and not professional. I explained to him what I've been dealing with the past months and he just looked at me with confusion. Instead of being really concerned and writing notes, he seemed more interested on other papers. As I was speaking, his phone rang.. and he immediately picked up without saying "Excuse me.." and I just got the sign to stop talking. Dr. Pan Ko seemed only interested on how I found him. He asked me if someone recommended him to me and I explained that I found him online because my primary doctor insisted that I should go see a infectious disease doctor. He only seemed to care which doctor it was... He took me into a different room to take my blood out.. it took him 2 tries to actually find a vein and take blood out. It was very unpleasant for me to see him trembling and it just seemed that he had no idea what he was doing... pretty nerve racking to me.... ALSO, The office was dead and .. a lot of signs that I couldn't take this place seriously. The receptionist did my blood pressure and it took her about 15 minutes to get the machine going.. until she realized she was doing it the wrong way. He put me on IV antibiotics, and they did the trick. Thanks to Ko I still have my toe! Two years later I had an abscess on the side of my knee. Dr. Ko directed me to enter the hospital, where I was treated successfully and avoided an operation. Even in matters of urgency, Dr. Ko has a calming effect on me. He has two convenient locations (Englewood Cliffs & Westwood) and he sees his patients promptly, with never a long wait.

I landed up having a umbilical hernia that twisted around my colon and caused my cecum to perforate. Dr. Her Yank was my surgeon. He held nothing back telling me all the pros and cons that could occur. He was very professional. Wonderful bedside manner( very important to me) I use to be a medical professional) gifted surgeon. I had to call the office 2 times for follow info and a follow appointment. This should be the example office for medical offices to folllow. All the staff so kind so professional so caring and just most important everything done correct. Can you believe that. It's almost like they are smiling through the phone. Such positive energy from surgeon to staff. The office is not close for me however I am very fortunate to have had a wonderful team like Dr. Hee Han Yang. Past weekend my family were away about 2 hours away from doctor's office so couldn't stop by so I left a message at Saturday 4:49pm because my son who is 8 months old was not feeling well. I wanted to ask him what to feed or not to feed my son. I did not hear back from him so I called back on Monday at 3pm and asked the receptionist why didn't you return my call and her reply was "yes we received your message and I was suppose to call you but we were very busy. You should have called back this morning". After hearing that respond I was so upset. They should have called back on Saturday. I did have this same experience with my older daughter but at that time we decided to give him another chance but after hearing that response I'm moving my kids to another pediatrician today. Second, dr parks office is notorious for not meeting their appointment time. If you make a 12:00pm appointment you will done at 2pm. Making us wait at least over an hour every visit. People who need a responsive doctor when they're needed, Dr park and his staff are not that people.
