I called during the winter, as my steering wheel was shaking once in awhile, instead of telling me to come in immediately (like another Hyundai dealership did) he told me to wash my car and spray the wheel wells and if that didn't work, to call back to book an appointment. Where to start. The sales staff ambushed my wife and left her uneasy. My son came home scared and doesn't want to go back to "that place". The service department cannot fulfill a simple task in a timely manner even when the issue has been fully diagnosed when the appointment is made ie. replace this specific part. Waited around for 3 hours only to have our car returned without any work being done and a list of "maintenance items" that were already completed, and in no way relevant to the issue we brought the car in for. The parts department cannot find the right part even with the year, model, trim, and vin and specific part number. Someone needs to teach their service dept how to schedule appointments!!! I made an appt for 10 am for a simple oil change and got my car back 4 hours later! NOT exceptable!! When you book an appt it should get done within an hour not 4 hours! They made me miss an appt elsewhere at 2. I will go somewhere else next time for my oil changes. They hide issues, no full disclosures, said all is checked while it was opposite. I bought a used Santa Fe here 1 year ago for $23,000. After they [service] told me that the reason it was burning so much oil - was that there was lots of gunk in the engine - - the _very thing_ that THEY were supposed to CHECK before selling the car!!! - - they then told me that it needed a new engine, at $9,000 to $11,000. After hearing "I don't know what to tell you" from Finance (the warranty), and the Manager never getting back to me, I decided to take it to another Dealer. They said "there is no gunk in the engine", and it would have been a waste of the $900 fee that Leduc Hyundai was wanting me to do ... and that it only needed a "top end" rebuild. They were VERY sorry, and although they ("Riverside Hyundai" - I highly recommend THEM, not THIS piece of garbage Dealership!!) - gave me a discount on the repair, and they gave me a loaner for the entire week. THEY did - with no finical advantage to them - what THIS Dealership SHOULD have done. I'll never even CONSIDER Leduc Hyundai!! We still laugh at what the Salesman (no longer there) told us when we were buying it (we paid cash): "Buying from us - you now have the security of knowing you have many years of a great car - not just 2 or 3 - from those cheap dealerships!" I spoke with David; I have been searching for a truck that was very certain and spec. He gathered all my information. I told him my credit is perfect and what my budget is. It turned out to be an absolute waste of an entire week's worth of time, and got nowhere with him. Like if you don't like explaining things, you shouldn't be bullshitting. I have purchased vehicles in the past but never dealt with anyone who is so unprofessional. He asked the same questions over and over. And wouldn't listen to what I had to say or what I was looking for and constantly refused to help and provide information. Ignore calls and texts. When what you think is a reputable car dealership having to deal with someone who lies and pretends to have basic knowledge about trucks, I was gravely mistaken. Never ever have I dealt with a place that is sexist but ladies and gentlemen here we go!!!! Drop off a vehicle on Wednesday early afternoon "we will have an answer for you soon as to what the problem is." Okay perfect, this is what it should be Thursday: absolutely no calls or them letting us know what's wrong with our vehicle. I tell the wife we should hear back soon and if not then call. They did not call us at all Friday: we call and are instantly told "Raj" will be calling us back with details on our car. Okay sweet we should be finding out finally what's wrong with the car! NOPE!!!! No call back no update no nothing.... they have had the vehicle for 2 days now. Saturday: we call first thing. Instantly met with the same shit "Raj will call you back" so the wife puts her foot down. "I want to speak to some one now. I need an update." So we get out on hold for 10min until we can finally speak to someone. She kindly informs us that there is a lot of work to be done on the car and we are waiting for parts to come in so the vehicle will not be ready until at least Wednesday. Wife asks if there is any loaners to use since we are human and do have life's to live. Sadly because of covid they cannot give out cars but she lets us know that on Friday had we known she could have asked about renting a car to use on the dealerships behalf. But we are on Saturday.... 2.5 days of no contact on their half. Not calling us back when they say they would pretty much ignoring my wife. Worries about if there is a problem with the car and how much it's going to cost. Worried our car is not coming back.... can't help but wonder, if I called would it have been different? Has happened many time where women ask a guy to call so stuff happens. My mom ask it from me all the tine so she does not get taken advantage of. I am a very old Hyundai Customer, back from India, Had had a couple Hyundai cars in the past, My first car when I moved to Canada in 2019 was also a Hyundai. So, I was looking for a car recently and I got an email from Hyundai regarding a click to buy your car so you could just check what model and where it is available. My family sat with me and we decided to go ahead with 2022 Santa Fe VIN: 5NMS2DAJ3NH445132 Stock:22SF5132. On finalising this we went ahead and reserved the specific car and got a confirmation email from Leduc Hyundai, Even a call from the sales team, Michelle called me and I double checked with her if the specific vehicle is available for test ride, which she agreed to. We fixed an appointment for May 30th at 11:30, I live in Edmonton and my wife and I are both working, took an off from work and drove to Leduc Hyundai excited about the car which I wanted to give to my wife. On our arrival to the dealership we were greeted by different people, Michelle didn't even come to meet us and Gaby took over the show. Started praising my attire(which again is not a sales strategy for me). When I asked him if he had a Sonata, Elantra and a Santa Fe in stock, the whole story started to build up and as every dealership tells you these days, with the current supply issues and everything it's hard to get stock. I asked him but you have that Santa Fe which we reserved online, paying $500 as a deposit, He said, No , that has already been sold to someone else, I was like how could you do that, Then he started telling me all the possible stories. I asked him if I could talk to the Manager, after waiting for like 10 minutes the Manager showed up and once again started to praise my attire. I asked him if he has the car in stock which we reserved and he said No, we don't have that but we are legal to advertise that stock(I was like what??) then he started to offer me "i can give you a good deal on some other vehicle or I could just refund you your deposit. I asked him to process my refund right away and he went ahead and was very quick to revert with the refund receipt, Then I told him you will get a good detailed review from my end, which he literally didn't care about and started to walk over without even saying anything. I told him that is not how you do business and I literally started yelling as I was pissed off with the behaviour of the staff. Though he offered me the gas money for the distance I travelled which is again cheap marketing in my sense.(Keep that money in your pocket and get rich) Now, My reason for telling you this scenario is, Firstly I would never ever encourage anybody to go to Leduc Hyundai, and would also never encourage anyone to buy a Hyundai vehicle ever. Who is responsible for this scenario? Is it Hyundai or the Dealership?? If Hyundai as a company cannot stand to their word of purchasing the car online, then what is the reason for making such promotional emails and the system you have set up. UPDATE: I wrote an email to the CEO of Hyundai Canada and marked the sales manager, sales rep and their customer experience director, I really appreciate the reply from Don who is CEO of Hyundai Canada, Tho he said he is helpless as the dealers are independent, So, Even a CEO of Hyundai can't do anything in my case. NOBODY should purchase a vehicle from the dealership. they are a team of scammers and thieves. I believed everything they told me when they convinced me to purchase a new warranty instead of transferring from my trade-in vehicle which Hyundai approved prior to the sale because I only had the previous vehicle for a month and a half when I realize it was not a good vehicle for me. I was told this was the best way to do it so I would get a refund mailed directly to me only to find out I get nothing back and they got $6300 from me and I have nothing to show for it. I tried Hyundai and the Better Business Bureau, but the dealership lied through their teeth, I am waiting for a response from AMVIC and next is my lawyer. I can't wrap my head around how big corporation like this can take advantage of people for their benefit. I tried to cancel the warranty they just sold me and now it seems that the eight year 160,000 km warranty is not what I was told it was. I really wish there Zero Stars was an option. I agreed to a quote that was emailed to me on an ordered vehicle with no overpriced dealer extras. I did not want any of the over priced dealer add on packages. These were priced way higher than those outlined on Hyundai.ca build and price. In a matter of days, I had a call from one of the sales managers that they had just what I wanted coming in. I could be one of the first in Alberta to have a 2024 Plaisade, but it had the "Winter Package" I said I would wait as I was in no hurry, (and I didn't want to pay the for the over priced dealer add on's). I later received news that orders were closed and Hyundai Canada went to allocating vehicles to dealers vs ordering, and the as ordered and agreed on price could not be honored. I was eventually offered the unit that had come in that was now a demo and I could have it for the original order price - all the dealer added items would be a no extra cost. I then got a call that this deal couldn't be honored, but they could deal for an extra $1674.75. I reluctantly agreed to this on the phone - thinking that much isn't going to kill me. Then I get a call from Amanda the finance manager congratulating me on the purchase but strongly suggested I get the 3M package to protect from the rock chips. I told her it has the 3M already. I said I have a text that tells me this unit has it. She put me on hold and supposedly checked with a sales manager, then came back and said no it does not have it and it is required. It will be an additional 1695.00. Also that Dan - the salesman that made the deal is no longer there. I said have Ray - the sales manager that approved the deal call me. I then get a call from Cal - another sales manager, telling me they will proceed with the deal on the demo unit for 20,000 difference. We are now 3133.79 above the agreed price.. Enough was enough, I asked for my deposit of $500.00 to be returned to me. My recommendation if you are dealing with Leduc Hyundai is make sure you have all offers in writing and signed, but better yet, steer clear of these shysters. I am still in disbelief that anyone in business can maintain these types of practices and hope to continue business. read more

I've been having some electrical/light issues with my elantra. The rear running lights do not stay on. I spoke with the service and parts department and they were very much less than helpful. Initially they quoted me 2.5 hours to replace a multifunction switch. I am by far NOT a mechanic but had it installed on my own within 45 minutes. Turned out that wasn't the issue so I booked in for their mechanic to look at it today. My car was in, out of the wash bay and parked out front in an hour and I was still charged for 2 hours labor. I was told they found the issue bit refused to fix it as it was a result if a previously installed command start that they did not install so they wouldn't disconnect it. I proceed to a different shop in town where they happily disconnected the old command start with zero problems and were very helpful. Turns out the problem that hyundai determined and charged me 2 hours labor for is definitely not the problem at all and I'm still stuck not able to drive after dark. Other than the one very nice service lady today the service was unprofessional, expensive, rushed and not helpful at all. I will not return to leduc hyundai for anything ever and I will encourage all my friends and coworkers to avoid it at all cost. read more

I bought a car just recently. They suggested a price 50% higher than the actual price of the vehicle. Very sketchy. Tried multiple scenarios, one of the salespersons even suggested financing a car and leaving it after 2 years in the streets! (Interesting huh?) Anyways, they claimed that the car is 2013, and after hours of different people coming and going, they settled on a price very close to my suggestion ( be aware!). I was exhausted and just signed the documents and it was the day after that I realized the car is one year older! (imagine that!). I called them and they deny claiming the year that they claimed for hours until I told them about the sticker they put on the windshield. After that, they said: "you signed anyway". All the staff were helpful , not pushy at all they listened to my needs, how I am detail oriented and that my husband and I were there to purchase a vehicle for myself. My car blew up at the beginning of august due to manufacture defect. They never offered me a rental car (witch at the time I was leaving town for work for a few months so it wasn't a big deal)My car went and I was told my car would take 6-8 weeks. So I'm 6 weeks I called them to fallow up and asked what the situation on my car was and the person handeling my case had stopped working there some time after my car went in and the case never got passed on and it was just sitting and nobody had looked at it yes. Upset but kind of understanding stuff happens but then I call a month later they said my parts would be in aT the end of the week I should my car soon. So I call at the end of the week and asked the update on my car and they said that they had no idea that I was told it would be ready. I have went in to try and talk to the manager about why myy car is taking so long this had be about 4 months. And he instantly just sat me down with a extremely pushy salesman who wouldn't accept no for a answer. Now when I try and get through to talk to the manager I get sent through to some employe who has no idea what's going on with my case. Terrible customer service. My engine died at 84,000km with regular oil changes. I paid $1200 in rental car fees waiting for 19 DAYS for Hyundai to confirm they were covering the repairs under warranty. This was mid-August. They took 3 months to fix my car. 9 weeks after getting my car back finally fixed, they have yet to reimburse me. They won't return my calls, and when I told the GM I was now considering suing them for the money they owe me, he laughed at me saying I can't take Hyundai Canada to Small Claims Court. The level of unprofessional "service" and total lack of respect has been unbelievable and frustrating. When my Hyundai stops working I will NEVER purchase a Hyundai again and I will make my experience well known. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. The initial price may seem cheap for what you get but that's exactly it, CHEAP. My brother's Elantra also had a faulty engine with Hyundai and died on him on Boxing Day. read more
