Wisconsin Women State Championship. Lane 8 on Sunday April 2nd kept having to reset. The young men from the local college had been servers. They were great. I really had a very good time until I went to pay my tab. I waited in line for 15 minutes. There was only 1 person working the lane side of the bar. I said that. 'Only on person on the lane side is dumb' There was a man that said 'we have three bartenders and a cook, you need to put your glasses on!' 'Must not have bowled well, cranky' I couldn't believe the way I was being talked to. Then the younger man next to him started in on me. Seriously?! I asked why I was being treated this way? I just want to pay my tab. He kept on being very rude and disrespectful to me. All while still waiting in line... I asked his name. He told me it didn't matter. It completely matters. I never got his name. Then I asked if the kids that were serving would get the tip I was about to leave. He said 'they should' I said 'but you don't really know?' He said that he would put it in an envelope for them. How can I trust that this happened? I don't believe that it did. I can guarantee that I will let everyone that I know or ever come into contact with how I was treated by them. I will not recommend this house ever. First time bowling here with our kids and the experience was not good at all. The lane we were given the balls kept getting stuck repeatedly. The older man that was working was very rude saying we needed to tell them right away when it happens; must have been mad so many balls were stuck. Well sir you could have said that in a nicer way instead being a you know what to my husband. The younger gentleman also working there was very kind and apologized. When the owner yells at you what do you want.... That's not acceptable. Not only is that terrible customer service...but for you to teach your employees that behavior like that is acceptable is not ok when you run a business. On top of that, ignoring customers while everyone is waiting around for service. Guess we will have to go elsewhere from now on. read more

Things have gone downhill with Ledgeview's Friday night fish fry. While it was moderately busy, there were 3 servers, which should be more than enough for the size of the place. We might have been more satisfied if even one of them would have acknowledged us by saying they'd be with us in a bit. It's very apparent that they have no systems in place to coordinate the servers or which tables they cover. If that was in place, it might take care of some of the problems. After someone did come, we waited another 10 or 15 minutes before our drinks were delivered and another 30 minutes before our food arrived. If that wasn't bad enough, the food was less than average. When the fish is only marginally warmer than the coleslaw, you know there's a problem. In a normal situation, we would have asked to send the meals back, but given how much time we already spent waiting, we might still be there waiting for our order to be redone and hot. On top of that, the amount of perch for the price paid was ridiculously small. I guess poor service and high inflation have ruined a once good experience. This is the second time in three visits that we have had issues. It will likely be quite a while before we take another chance. read more

Absolutely the worst experience we have ever ever had!! I came from Milwaukee to have a fish fry with my family and then go bowling with the kids. Needless to say finally got our fish after an hour and a half and it was greasy and cold absolutely awful!! Our entire meal should've been free after that however the manager gave us 50% off what a joke and he was very rude!! I would not wish this on my worst enemy!! It was absolutely horrible!! read more

Service in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. I sat there for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged that I was there. Every time I come here, the wait is unbearably long. And don't even think about calling in a to-go order to avoid waiting. I've waited forever to speak out about my experiences with ledgeview, as a past employee as well as past regular customer. I was hired in October of 2022 and ended being an employee November of 2022. I had a pretty decent first night, I was slightly overwhelmed because I started without any knowledge of alcohol and of course I chose to be a bartender. I didn't know what anything was, but was told before obtaining my bartending license they prefer people who have never bartended before so they can train them their way. I often was a customer of the bowling alley too, and understood their sarcasm and joking behavior, until I became an employee and I started being treated like complete crap. I didn't like how they treated customers either, from the inside looking out. They're very racist, and I heard that from several customers, as well as witnessed it myself. I know the manager (M) always complained about people who were not white reeking of weed, and being over intoxicated or loud, and just continually went off about it as well as said he shut the business down early if no one is in there but them. I didn't appreciate that, at all. I as a human accept all people, and was not about to treat someone different because of the color of their skin. You'd think, being as old as they are, they were taught those simple instructions to prepare them for adulthood. Apparently a lesson hasn't been taught. Secondly, it doesn't matter how long you work, you can guarantee the people at the end of the shift get more tips then you, closing person. I got 1 days worth of tips, and worked about a week. Even came in when I was supposed to be off. I got $108on a busy wednesday and so did everyone else, apparently. also was never paid for the time I worked there. I was told to turn my direct deposit information in by the night I quit or I wasn't being paid. Now why I quit, because when I first started, I was being "trained" by a man (J) who claimed he was an overseer of or an equal to the manager (M), so I was assuming I'd be taught a lot, but instead felt so uncomfortable from being sexually harassed and flirted with, constantly that I told the original person that hired me (M) and he said he wouldn't put me with (J) again, well the time I worked it was just me and (J) working. Nobody else. I was supposed to be scheduled with (M) so I could be properly trained. In spite of all that, my last day was a Fish Fry Friday, and they were beyond busy, yet had me work, with having no knowledge of anything on how to bartend or even run the register, because no one trained me. They threw me to the front and expected me to run it alone. I was overwhelmed and asking for help, because everyone was standing in my way but acting more like I was just standing around. Customers were very rude and impatient because I needed help and couldn't get it. Well the manager (M) came up to get an order done on my register for someone in the back of the bar and got mad because I "wasn't doing anything" after asking several people, several times for help. He then got rude and said "what do you want? have you been paying attention? it's simple, do it" so I did and he said "No, just move" and he insisted on doing it AFTER SEEING I had no idea what to do, then I collected the money from the person and he ripped the money out of my hand and told me to leave. With a behavior like that I felt in the wrong for negligence, in not being trained correctly, then coming in on my time off for extra experience even and still not being trained wasn't my fault. I was slow at what I did because I just started out. Oh and if you want to eat on a shift? Everyone can but you, if you ask. So don't expect to eat or have more than a 5 minute break, no matter how long you work. I wasn't paid for my time, I wasn't tipped from the "mass tip" where they collect everyone's then split it, I also was blocked personally by the manager (M) from calling the bowling alley or his personal phone number, because I wanted paid. I wouldn't recommend spending your money there nor being an employee there. I'd much rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Great bowling alley. Well-maintained, good prices, good bar. It's family friendly with bumper lanes, but tough enough for serious bowlers. There's automated scoring and plenty of bowling balls to choose from - and dark glow bowling Friday night. They even do a fish fry. They have specials every night except Saturday, so that's when you should bring your coupon. Ample parking, easy access. Good date night. read more

Went because the family heard about their fish fry which is served until 10pm, when we arrived at 9pm they were no longer serving because it had been a "slow night" happy to accommodate a fish sandwich however. Cheese fries were amazing. Chicken strips had a bitter after taste and the cook who is clearly visible did not wash his hands or wear gloves before preparing our food. FOOD WAS JUST ok. Couldn't believe 2 fish fries, 2 PBR's and a gin & tonic came to $46 (with tip). Plastic forks, styrofoam plates, paper napkins and table for eight (just my wife and I). Should expect lots more for the money. That said, the service was good and the beer cold. read more

They have had a pretty decent fish fry but over the years it has gotten inconsistent. Then, we started hearing stories about friends not receiving their food orders after 2 hours. Tonight it happened to our family. We waited for 2 hours for food only to be told 30 more minutes or they could give us our money back! We didn't have 30 more minute to wait at 8 pm with 3 children, a pregnant lady and 4 adults who had consumed their fair share of beers. Then, it took 30 minutes to refund our money. Went bowling, or tried to bowling Saturday night. Four of the open lanes were not being used and were sitting idle waiting for a group of thirteen to be able to bowl together. Two people were using two lanes supposedly making up for their league bowling. This was occurring on four lanes. The result of all of this management was six of the sixteen available lanes were sitting idle on a Saturday night when numerous potential customers were being turned away. What a waste of resources and loss of potential revenue. No wonder lanes are closing constantly. Our group was very disappointed and left. The only good thing was I did not spend any of my money on booze or food. I probably saved about $70. Thanks for the savings. read more

Terrible service both at the front desk for bowling and at the restaurant. Management clearly doesn't care because it reflects in their workers. They have terrible attitudes and are unwilling to help. Only redeeming quality is that they are the only other bowling alley in the city. read more

The bowling at the establishment is family friendly and is also a good place for pro's to practice. Ledgeview is also a site for bowling leagues. There are usually always deals but be warned, when the league is here you won't be bowling until it's the late evening. The bowling alley also has a bar and grill inside. They have homemade pizza that is to die for but the restaurant has flaws which keeps this review at 3 stars. First the waitresses have table assignments that they completely don't stick too. They are also very environmentally unaware as it took forty minutes before we ordered. But this order was because I made a complaint to the manager who took our order. Meanwhile during said forty minutes waitresses went to the table next to us multiple times and didn't see us. Certain prices aren't agreeable as it costs a 1.75 for a soda refill. I could walk to the McDonalds which is a short walk away and spend one dollar for a larger soda. They also don't give pitchers of soda for walk in larger parties which is an inconvenience for holiday parties where larger parties are expected. Overall it's a good place to bowl but the restaurant is a gamble between good service and bad. If you sit in an outer table like I did, bring a noise or flash maker to get served. Otherwise you'll probably get ignored when they look right at you. 2.75 Stars. read more
