Dad & Son, theme of the day Baseball!!! This review will be quick and to the point. For an indoor batting area it is basic, it has pitching machines with practice balls, red and partly rubber. Pricing is about the same as anywhere, but maybe a little high for this experience. We got the 10 tokens 75 balls for 24$ They have both higher and lower token counts, but this one was most worth it to us. They have helmets and bats if you don't have any or just want to stop by, helmet padding is definitely in need of replacement in almost all the helmets, just FYI. The counter person was very friendly and she explained everything with ease. The reason for the 3 star rating and not more is the fact that the pitching machines are very close, so this is more of a make contact batting cage rather than see where your ball goes as it seems to be only about 25 feet between the machine and the boxes. They do have 6 cages ranging in speeds and types: softball/fast pitch & baseball Also there were a few times that we only received 10 pitches as the machine would run out of balls and the machines still count the ghost pitches so you lose some of the cuts you should've received. There is also a huge space with 2 volleyball courts and what looks to be a gymnastics area. Placed seemed fairly clean, bathrooms were well kept, but basic. They have vending machines for drinks/snacks. Also this place looks like it's in a line of warehouse so don't be fooled by all the bay doors they are there. I also suggest parking across/away from the front of the building when we came out my car was covered in a white mist of something, so I had to get my car washed. All in all if you just want to work on contact with the ball this place works, but if you want more of an immersive experience you may want to try 406!!! I originally liked this company. I even got a membership with them. However, they stopped the membership within their company. After they stopped the membership, the continued to charge my card (and other members) and refused to take the card off file. I emailed, texted, and called. The owner was extremely rude, i even drove up to the batting cages to resolve it and it wasn't fixed. They keep charging my card on weekly basis. I'm calling my bank today to have them blocked from any future charges. Do NOT GIVE them your card. read more

TL;DR -2nd time here and employees (owners I think) have been unnecessarily rude -Do not go here if you have literally any other option for batting practice. Went here before and got blamed by an employee for "stealing time" from the pitching machine when it threw more than 15 balls. My son was up next at bat tonight (I had just told him one more round and we'd go) and the owner walked over and said "its 8oclock, we're closed" (he could have just turned that machine off last), and insisted their hours of op were updated everywhere online. I showed him the yelp hours and he told me that they used google... Don't have a yelp listing then, eh? I've never experienced a small business with such disregard for customer service that I can remember. If anyone opens up a competitor and was just remotely nice to people, they could take all of their business away. read more

First time here. Heck, who am I kidding, first time at batting cages, ever! Came with my boyfriend who apparently used to go when they were at their other location which was outside. Reasonable prices and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's indoor, there's a huge fan and music playing. Chill environment. We came on a Tuesday around 2pm and it wasn't busy. There aren't many indoor batting cages in Orlando so the options are slim. I'm thankful to have Lebron for my boys as a change to Bad Dog Cages on Curry Ford especially during the hotter months. Lebron is indoors but it's not air conditioned. The machines are very outdated and often run out of balls. 2/3 of the times we have gone, it's hard to find an employee to buy coins from or get the balls refilled. The location/business has potential and can be really great with a few changes. read more

I asked my boys to rate this one for me. They had a blast and definitely want to return. We came here because we had a Groupon and it was recommended. It didn't disappoint! Each token gives you 15 balls. They have 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 mph and both slow pitch and fast pitch. They also have a field to practice fielding. Tokens for the cages were $10 for 5 and $20 for 10. You can rent the field for $15 for 30 minutes. They have a limited snack bar too. Definitely a fun time! read more

Came to get my niece some batting practice in but when we came in, they said the cages were closed. It doesn't say anywhere on Google or their website what specific time they close the cages down only that the place is open till 8pm. Also they shut down the cages for a wrestling event, what kinda crap is that...not to mention the staff were not wearing masks. read more

This facility is family owned and operated. I used to visit their previous location, which was outside, and the machines were really old and testy. This is inside and air conditioned, and the machines and well maintained and monitored while you use them. I will certainly go back again! Our Tournament baseball team was down in Orlando for the Disney Classic and we were looking for an indoor practice facility because of a couple days of rain outs. What a place!! We rented a large open section of the facility to do some ground ball fielding work and pitching. We also rented an open cage for soft toss and front toss. This space is not made for events and should not be used for them. There is no air conditioning not enough bathrooms or seating for the amount of people they had in there. Definitely not worth a $30 ticket. Completely unprofessional to have people who weighed in but weren't paired to fight still have to pay to be there during the fights with the rest of their team and coaches. Also during boxing you're not supposed to hang on to your opponent the entire time. If the referee has to tell you over 8 times you should have more than just 1 point taken off your score. Also coaches should not be able to just jump up onto the ring during a fight without consequences. It's completely unprofessional! read more

The first thing I can tell you about Lebrons Indoor Batting Cages is that its family owned. I personally think that when an establishment is family it tends to have great customer service. Upon entering we walked up to the window and I explained it was our first time here. With a look of excitement a lady appeared and offered to give us a tour of the facilities and explain how everything works. They provide bats and helmets but you are welcomed to bring your own.They have a variety of cages that throw baseballs/softballs at different speeds. The machines are coin operated and the coins are $2 each. I happened to come across a Groupon for 10 tokens for $11.00. Great deal! We live about 10 minutes away so I see us visiting them a bunch. They are going to be offering group lessons (10 people/group) with professional and collegiate trainers starting on April 17th and hour for $15.00. read more

Yelp provided good directions to the location. Just Know that you pull into a warehouse and you should go around the right side and drive down till you see #9. It's marked pretty well. My son was happy with the cages. Lots of cages and different speeds. There are also other types of cages and a field with bases and fake grass. (This mom knows only the basics of baseball - but I'm pro at driving to locations) The staff was nice. The prices were reasonable $2 for 20 balls. I give it two thumbs straight up! Great to see a batting cage indoors. Granted it's in a warehouse setting. Not sure you could do it any other way honestly indoors. It may look a little odd putting with the weight room next to it with music.being blasted out of it. They have an area for private sessions if you so choice to. The only drawback is there is no a/c so I'm sure in the heat of the summer it has to get a little unbearable. Just wish that the pitching machines didn't breakdown as much as they did. read more

I purchased a Groupon for 10 tokens from Lebron Batting cages for our son to use. Another member of our party also purchased the same Groupon for themselves to use. The woman behind the counter, who was on the phone rudely arguing with someone when we came, said that we were only able to redeem one Groupon and that the fine print states only one per family. In reading the fine print of the Groupon, it stated one per person- I showed this to the woman who then argued loudly that it didn't matter and claimed to be the owner, though it was plainly in black and white that it was one per person. There was one child who was planning to bat and one older teenager who was planning to bat separately. We left and opened a case with Groupon. The only time I'll ever take a 40mph baseball to the leg and be excited about it. This is a cool family-owned establishment out on OBT. The location is a little iffy, seeing as it's basically in one of the warehouses out in the industrial area. However, it's just fine on the inside and has a few options available for all skill sets. Their cages have different speeds settings and offer both baseball and softball. The staff is super friendly and very helpful, and will take the time to explain how to work everything and give you tips on what bats to use and what you should start at based on skill level. Their prices are good, and there's usually also a Groupon available that makes it even more affordable. It's a fun experience and something different to do with your friends! My son and I went there for the first time this past Saturday and it was awesome. It was very clean, and well organized. The man at the counter was so nice at explaining how it worked. They had a huge amount of bats to use and helmets that would fit my big head. It was a busy day but there were plenty of cages. The even had an area where you could pitch to someone, like in the big Leagues. We met Rubin the owner and he was super nice to everyone. He was even encouraging my son which was awesome.
